Claims (10)

  1. A method for manufacturing film bags that feature a first and a second front side (1, 2), two gussets (3) that are placed between the front sides (1, 2) in a V-shaped fashion and extend in a longitudinal direction of the bag and an opening at a bag top (4), wherein the front sides (1, 2) and the gussets (3) are jointly produced of a multilayer film, wherein the gussets (3) end underneath the opening at the bag top (4), and wherein upper ends of the gussets (3) are sealed, with said method comprising the steps of:
    a) a film section (9) of the multilayer film featuring an outer layer of weldable thermoplastic plastic is made available,
    b) window-shaped punchings (10) are produced in the film section (9) on segments, on which the bag tops (4) of the film bags are subsequently produced,
    c) the film section (9) is transported through a folding station, in which a strip (12) with the gussets (3) and the first front side (1) underneath the gussets (3) is produced by folding the film section (9),
    characterized by the additional steps of:
    d) the gussets (3) on the strip (12) are obliquely folded over onto themselves on their end (7) produced by the punchings (10) such that the ends (7) produced by the punchings are aligned along the longitudinal direction after the folding operation,
    e) after the ends (7) of the gussets (3) have been folded over, the second front side (2) is produced by additionally folding the strip (12) on at least one of the gussets (3) such that the second front side covers the gussets (3),
    f) after the second front side (2) has been produced, longitudinal hot-sealing seams (8) are produced in order to circumferentially seal the strip (12) and the folded ends (7) of the gussets (3) are respectively sealed into a bag edge, and
    g) the strip (12) is cut into individual film bags in such a way that the opening is located at the punching (10) above the folded gussets (3).
  2. The method according to claim 1, wherein the second front side (2) is produced of a continuous film section, and wherein the longitudinal hot-sealing seam (8) for circumferentially sealing the strip (12) extends along a bag edge and also seals in the end (7) of one of the gussets (3).
  3. The method according to claim 1 or 2, wherein continuous longitudinal hot-sealing seams (8) are produced on the strip (12).
  4. The method according to claim 3, wherein the longitudinal hot-sealing seams (8) produced on the longitudinal bag edges feature a widening in the region of the folded ends (7).
  5. The method according to one of claims 1-4, wherein a reclosure system (5) is placed onto the first front side (1) before the second front side (2) is produced.
  6. The method according to one of claims 1-5, wherein the ends (7) of the gussets (3) are folded over by transporting the strip (12) past a folding device that lifts and folds over the end (7) of the gusset on an inner folding edge (11).
  7. The method according to one of claims 1-6, wherein the ends (7) of the gussets (3) are folded over in such a way that the folded ends (7) are arranged between the respective gusset (3) and the second front side (2).
  8. The method according to one of claims 1-7, wherein the strip (12) is trimmed on its longitudinal edges before it is cut into individual film bags.
  9. The method according to one of claims 1-8, wherein a width (a) of the punchings in the lateral direction is smaller than twice the width (b) of the gussets (3) inserted between the front sides (1, 2) in a V-shaped fashion.
  10. The method according to one of claims 1-9, wherein the supplied film section (9) consists of a multilayer laminated film that not only features the outer layer of weldable thermoplastic plastic, but also an opposite outer layer that is not weldable at a predefined hot-sealing temperature.
