Definitions
- the present invention relates to a floor cleaning machine with a chassis for moving the floor cleaning machine over a surface to be cleaned and a dirt container for receiving debris, wherein the dirt container has a drip pan in the bottom area for collecting located in the dirt container water and wherein in the dirt container a movable Flap is mounted, which covers the sump in a closed position of the flap, wherein in the sump an outflow is arranged, can drain through the water in the drip tray, and wherein passage means are provided by the water in the dirt container in the sump can get.
- the catch basin in the dirt container also serves as a reservoir for the liquid or water required during operation of the floor cleaning machine. Not least because of this, it is necessary to prevent the coarse dirt, which likewise enters the dirt container, from reaching the area of the collecting trough. Therefore, this is covered within the dirt container with a so-called sump lid, which prevents coarse dirt can get into the tub.
- the water introduced into the container is returned to it via channels or passageways which are vertically connected to the container wall and which are connected to the collecting trough.
- the mesh size of the sieves is not so narrow that they can filter out all dirt from the water, otherwise the sieves would clog too quickly during operation. For example, with the sieves, sand, fabric fibers and pine needles can not regularly be filtered out of the water completely. However, the fine dirt particles passing through the sieves and the subsequent channels into the sump would clog a conduit system of the recirculating water device between a drain sump drain and the suction means, with which the water is returned to the sipper.
- partition walls are arranged in the drip pan, which divide the drip pan into a plurality of sections.
- the partitions have elongated holes through which the Water can pass through to get to the drain. These partitions serve primarily to reduce a back and forth sloshing of the water in the drip pan due to driving movements, so that water does not enter the circulation water device in a surge.
- a brush element is arranged such that water has passed through the passage means into the drip pan must pass through the brush element before it can flow through the drain from the drip pan.
- the brush element or brush provides a flow resistance for the water flowing to the drain through the sump, which reduces the flow rate of the water. As a result, the water flow is distributed over the entire width of the brush element and is filtered when passing through the brush element or the brush and freed of dirt particles.
- a brush with a plurality of bristles has proved to be particularly advantageous when the floor cleaning machine is in operation and that water sloshes back and forth in the sump due to driving movements.
- the driving movements or the sloshing water cause the bristles of the brush to move back and forth and are freed again and again of the settling in them fine dirt particles.
- the filter formed by the brush element thus cleans itself in contrast to screen or fabric filters automatically.
- a brush having a plurality of resilient rubber members may also be used.
- the recurring cleaning process leads to a uniform entry of residual dirt in the pipe system, which connects the drain with the cleaning device. However, this is so low in relation to the water flow in the pipe system that there is no risk of clogging.
- the brush element has a plurality of bristles, each having a free end, wherein assign the free ends of the flap.
- the bristles are fastened to a fixed end, for example in a common strip, and extend away from this strip toward the flap.
- the bristles are fixedly disposed in an area facing away from the flap while being more free to move closer to the flap.
- a filter with a less flexible passage width is created to trap finer and heavier debris.
- heavier dirt settles on the drain to before the brush element alone due to its weight and the low flow velocity in the flow direction.
- a plurality of the free ends of the plurality of bristles abut the flap in the closed position.
- the free ends of the plurality of bristles project beyond a plane that extends from one to the sump assigning underside of the flap or sump flap is formed when the flap is not in the closed position.
- a plurality of the bristles is inclined at an angle of less than 90 ° to a plane in which the flap extends in the closed position, wherein preferably the plurality of bristles extends at an equal angle to the flap.
- the free ends of the bristles are inclined towards the drain.
- the direction of extension of the bristles is not to be understood as meaning that they must be aligned exactly in one direction. It is not only well known to those skilled in the art that, in particular, in use, the bristles of a brush will face in a variety of directions. However, a median direction will be determinable, and this median direction is preferably inclined at an angle less than 90 ° to the plane in which the flap extends.
- the flap can easily deform the bristles when closing, without a lot of force would be necessary.
- the bristles push the flap upwards away from the closed position and the collecting trough would not be completely closed.
- dirt particles deposited on the bristles are released by the deformation during opening and closing of the flap, as a result of which the bristles are additionally cleaned automatically.
- the free ends of the plurality of bristles face in a direction in which the dirt container is tilted for emptying, so that dirt deposits during tilting and cleaning of the Dirt container can be avoided or easily be removed with a jet of water.
- the drain is arranged such that the free ends of the bristles face towards the drain towards and into the direction in which the waste container is dumped for emptying.
- the sump has at least a first partition with a recess extending away from the flap, wherein the first partition is arranged such that water passing through the passage means into the sump must pass through the recess of the first partition before it drain through the drain from the sump.
- the first partition wall forms a sedimentation basin in a region of the collecting trough lying in the flow direction before the outflow. Water entering from the dirt collector into the drip pan into the area in front of the divider first collects in front of the divider and can not continue to flow. As soon as the water stops, heavier dirt sinks and settles to the bottom of the drip pan as sediment.
- the brush element is arranged in the recess of the first partition wall.
- the first partition wall may have a plurality of recesses, and a brush element is arranged in each of the plurality of recesses. In this way, in a particularly advantageous manner, the filtering of small and heavy dirt particles with the filtering the brush element can be combined in a single step.
- the collecting trough has at least one and preferably a plurality of further partition walls with at least one recess extending away from the flap, wherein the further dividing wall or the further dividing walls are arranged in such a way that water which has passed into the collecting trough through the passage means passes through the recess of the further partition wall or the other partitions must occur before it can pass through the recess of the first partition.
- a plurality of further dividing walls are provided, then they can certainly be arranged so that the water only has to pass through the recess of one of the plurality of dividing walls before it can pass through the recess of the first dividing wall.
- additional filter stages for filtering heavy dirt particles are created in a particularly advantageous manner.
- the flap is pivotally supported about a flap axis such that it can be pivoted between the closed position and the open position, and that the flap axis is arranged with respect to the center of gravity of the flap so that the flap is automatically influenced gravity pivots from the closed position to the open position when the dirt container is moved to the emptying position.
- the flap pivots automatically when pivoting the Dirt container in its emptying position in the open position, so that the drip pan is released. Dirt, which may be together with residual water in the drip pan, then can move out of the drip pan during the upward movement of the dirt container and is thereby released together with the coarse dirt from the dirt container.
- the drip pan is released when the dirt container is in the emptying position, so that it is no longer necessary with already raised dirt container to operate a designated actuator to open the door. Rather, an operator can immediately clean with a spray hose, the interior of the dirt container including the drip pan. This facilitates the operation considerably.
- the flapper axis of the present invention about which the flap is pivotally supported is disposed parallel to the container axis about which the waste container is pivoted between the operative position and the deflate position.
- the flap be constructed and arranged to extend in the closed position of the flap in an opening plane defined by the position of the flap surface in the closed position. Further, a line through the center of gravity of the flap perpendicular to this aperture plane intersects a connecting plane extending from the container axis to the flap axis. This ensures that the flap is indeed moved under the influence of gravity during the movement of the container in the emptying position out of the closed position, provided that the emptying position is angularly far enough away from the operating position. In particular, this will that the projection of the center of gravity lies on the connection plane between the container axis and the flap axis, ensures that a torque acts on the flap during the pivoting movement of the container.
- a line perpendicular to the plane of the opening through the leading edge of the flap also intersects the junction plane between the container axis and flap axis, it ensures that the axis about which the sump flap pivots is "in front" of the flap, and thus the flap in the deflation position the drip pan releases on a large scale. This results in particular when the center of gravity in the vertical direction has a large distance from the axis about which swamp flap pivots.
- a flap arm extends upward from the flap into the interior of the debris container, the flap arm being pivotally connected to a container arm extending from the container wall, the connection being in the flap axis.
- the free end of the flap arm in a further exemplary embodiment of the invention where it is pivotally connected to the free end of the container arm, extends beyond a perpendicular to the opening plane extending through the front edge level. This ensures that the flapper axis is indeed "in front" of the sump above and in the direction of travel, so that the flap in the open position, when the dirt container is in the emptying position, is far away from the sump so that it is particularly good is accessible.
- openings are advantageously provided in an exemplary embodiment in the flap, which are closed by sieve elements, on the one hand liquid to allow it to enter the drip pan, but prevent dirt from entering.
- the suction device is connected to the dirt container via a suction tube, wherein means are provided, an air flow from the suction device through the suction tube into the dirt container, wherein the suction device comprises means for supplying liquid into the air flow and wherein the collecting trough is connected to the supply means.
- the sump door ensures on the one hand that little dirt gets into the collecting trough, but on the other hand enables easy cleaning of the collecting trough when the dirt container is in the emptying position.
- a floor cleaning machine On a chassis 1, are provided on the wheels 3, which may be at least partially driven to move the floor cleaning machine in a direction of travel 4 over a surface to be cleaned 5.
- a suction device 7 On chassis 1 of the floor cleaning machine, a suction device 7 is provided, which is connected via a suction pipe 9, the end stub 11 extends in a hinged about a container axis 13 content Erten dirt container 15, with the latter.
- a fan 17 is provided, the inlet 19 facing the interior of the dirt container 15, so that the fan 17 serves as a means to generate an air flow from the suction device 7 through the suction pipe 9 in the dirt container 15.
- 7 sweeping material can be sucked from the surface to be cleaned 5 and conveyed into the dirt container 15 with the suction device.
- the floor cleaning machine has a cabin 21 in which a driver can sit and control the floor cleaning machine.
- the present invention is not limited to use in self-propelled floor cleaning machines as described herein, but may also be applied to hand-held floor cleaning machines Find an application in which an operator moves behind the machine and leads this and steers and controls.
- the dirt container 15 can by means of a hydraulic cylinder 23 from the in Fig. 1 shown operating position in the in Fig. 2 shown emptying be pivoted, the dirt container 15 pivots about the container axis 13. This makes it possible to tip over the end pipe 11 sucked dirt from the dirt container 15 out.
- the end piece 11 is detachably connected to the suction pipe 9.
- a drip pan 25 which serves to receive in the dirt container 15 located liquid such as water.
- the drip pan 25 is connected via a line 27 to a suction device 7 provided in the supply device 29 (shown only schematically), with the liquid in the air flow generated by the fan 17 can be introduced. This serves to bind dust contained in the air flow, so that it settles in the dirt container 15 on the ground, instead of entering through the inlet 19 in the fan 17 and then through the outlet into the environment.
- a flap 31 is provided which is pivotally supported about a flap axis 33.
- the flap 31 between the in the Fig. 1 and 4 shown closed position and the in Fig. 2 pivoted open position shown.
- the flap 31 In the closed position, the flap 31 extends substantially in an opening plane 35 which is defined by the position of the surface of the flap 31 in the closed position.
- the flap axis 33 is arranged above the opening plane 35.
- the flap 31 has a pointing to the container axis 13 trailing edge 37 and a substantially parallel thereto and arranged on the side facing away from the container axis 13 side in the flap 31 arranged front edge 39.
- the terms "front” and “rear edge” result in the present case solely by reference to the direction of travel 4. It depends on the position of the edges 37, 39 9 relative to the container axis 13, that the trailing edge 37 so closer to the container axis 13 is located as the leading edge 39.
- the center of gravity 41 of the flap 31 is located between the trailing edge 37 and the leading edge 39 and is, as in Fig.
- the flap 31 is arranged such that a line 47 which extends from the front edge 39 remote from the container axis 13 perpendicular to the opening plane 35 also extends through the connecting plane 45, thus also cutting it so that the projection the leading edge 39 is still on the connection plane 45 between the container axis 13 and the flap axis 33.
- the flap 31 is connected to two flap arms 49 which extend away from the flap 31 into the interior of the container 15 and are connected pivotably about the flap axis 33 to the container arms 51 extending from the wall of the container 15, hinged.
- the flap and container arms 49, 51 and the flap axis 33 on the side facing away from the flap 31 side of a perpendicular to the opening plane 35 of the front edge 39 extending away line 47 shows that the flap 31 in their open position, ie when the dirt container 15 is in the emptying position, the drip pan 25 releases on a large scale and makes it well accessible from the emptying opening of the dirt container 15, so that the drip pan 25 can be cleaned well.
- This large opening in the emptying position arises from the fact that in the closed position the center of gravity 41 of the flap 31 is also spaced vertically to the flap axis 33.
- the flap 31 has passage means 53 in the form of through holes 53 which are closed by sieve elements, so that liquid can pass through the through holes 53 into the sump 25 therethrough.
- 15 further passage means 55 in the form of channels 55 are provided on the wall of the dirt container, which extend vertically when the dirt container 15 is in the operating position (see Fig. 1 ).
- the channels 55 terminate in the drip pan 25, and on the side facing the interior of the dirt container 15, the channels 55 are covered by sieves 57, which prevent coarse dirt from entering the channels 55.
- the dirt container 15 When the dirt container 15 is sufficiently filled with dirt, the dirt container 15 by means of the hydraulic cylinder 23 of the in Fig. 1 shown operating position in the in Fig. 2 shown emptying be pivoted and dirt from the container 15 are dumped.
- the flap 31 pivots automatically in the movement from the operating position to the emptying position due to the effect of gravity of the in Fig. 4 shown closed position in the in Fig. 2 illustrated open position, so that in the sump 25 befind another dirt also moves to the opening of the dirt container 15 and also dumped.
- the flap 31 is automatically in the open position and the flap axis 33 is spaced from the opening plane 35 and also seen in the direction of travel 4 "before" the leading edge 39 of the flap 31, the sump 25 is very accessible to an operator, so that it can be easily washed out, for example with the help of a spray hose.
- the drip pan 25 initially has a drain 59, through which water or liquid can pass from the drip pan 25 into the line 27, which leads the water or the liquid to the feeder 29 in the suction device 7.
- a brush element 61 is arranged in such a way that all water passing from the dirt container 15 into the collecting trough 25 has to flow through the brush element 61 before it can reach the drain 59.
- the brush member 61 has a plurality of bristles, which are not shown individually in the figures.
- the bristles are mounted on a common ledge 63 and extend away from that ledge 63 toward the flap 31.
- the bristles thus have a fixed end which is secured to the ledge 63 and a loose end terminating in the preferred embodiment of the flap 31 abuts when in the closed position, as in the Fig. 1 . 3 and 4 shown, the sump 25 closes.
- the brush or brush element 61 thus closes tightly with the flap 31 and forms a brush filter through which all water must flow out of the dirt container 15 before it can reach the drain 59 of the catch basin 25.
- the brush element 61 or a plurality of the bristles is at an angle of is inclined at less than 90 ° to a plane 35 in which the flap 31 extends in the closed position, wherein the plurality of bristles or the brush element 61 are inclined towards the outlet 59 to.
- the flap 31 can bend the bristles without much effort and there is a tight seal between the brush member 61 and flap 31st
- the brush member 61 is also inclined to the container axis 13, so that no tilting of the dirt container 15 around the container axis 13, which has accumulated in the sump 25, gets stuck on the brush member 61 and this further contaminated.
- the brush member 61 can be cleaned in a particularly simple manner, for example, in which it is sprayed with a jet of water.
- a brush element 61 as the last filter stage before the outflow 59 through which water from the dirt container 15 or collecting trough 25 reaches the line system 27 forming part of the circulating water device has proven to be particularly advantageous for various reasons.
- the brush element 61 slows down the flow rate of the water to the drain 59, thus causing the water to pass over the wide area and evenly through the bristles.
- the bristles or the brush element 61 retain a majority of the remaining dirt particles in the liquid.
- the water in the collecting trough 25 is generally not stationary, but spills back and forth due to the driving movements.
- the back and forth sloshing solves the dirt that has already collected in the bristles of the brush member 61, slowly and evenly out again, so that the filter formed by the brush member 61 does not clog.
- This water flow is not free of dirt particles, since constantly dirt particles from the brush element 61 solve.
- it has been shown that the dirt entry is low and the water flow is sufficiently high, so that the dirt particles do not permanently settle in the subsequent conduit system 27 and clog it.
- the drip pan 25 also has a first partition wall 65 and a plurality of further partition walls 67, which divide the drip pan 25 into a plurality of separate settling tanks.
- the first partition wall 65 and the further partition walls 67 each have one or more recesses 69, 71.
- the recesses 69, 71 extend from an edge of the partitions 65, 67 facing the flap 31 and away from the flap 31 into the partitions 65, 67.
- the dividing walls 65, 67 are arranged such that water passing through the passage means 55 into the collecting trough 25 is first separated by at least one recess 69, 71 in one of the partitions 65, 67 and preferably by a respective recess 69, 71 in at least two partitions 65, 67 must occur before it comes to the drain 59.
- no passage openings 53 are provided in the flap 31, but only the channels 55 covered with screens 57, so that all water reaching the catch basin 25 contains the recess 69 in the first partition 65 and at least one recess 71 in one of the further partition walls 67 must pass before it can flow into the drain 59.
- the dividing walls 65, 67 not only prevent the water from spilling back and forth in the collecting trough 25, but also lead to heavy dirt particles in the flow direction on the outflow 59 to deposit in front of the partitions 65, 67 as sediments and so in a particularly advantageous manner does not reach the outflow 59 and into the conduit system 27.
- the brush element 61 is arranged in the recess 69 of the first partition wall 65, so that not only heavy dirt particles deposit as sediments on the bottom of the drip pan 25 in a particularly advantageous manner, but also slight dirt particles are filtered out by the brush element 61.
- only one brush element 61 is shown in the recess 69 of the first partition wall 65 in the exemplary embodiment, it is conceivable that at least partially brush elements are arranged in the recesses 71 in the further partition walls 67.

Description
The present invention relates to a floor cleaning machine with a chassis for moving the floor cleaning machine over a surface to be cleaned and a dirt container for receiving debris, wherein the dirt container has a drip pan in the bottom area for collecting located in the dirt container water and wherein in the dirt container a movable Flap is mounted, which covers the sump in a closed position of the flap, wherein in the sump an outflow is arranged, can drain through the water in the drip tray, and wherein passage means are provided by the water in the dirt container in the sump can get.
In floor cleaning machines and in particular those floor cleaning machines which have a suction device, can be sucked with the debris from a surface to be cleaned in the dirt container, the problem arises that it can come in the dirt container to a considerable dust. This dust passes through the attached to the dirt container and necessary for generating the air flow from the suction device in the dirt container fan in the environment, since no too fine-pored filter can be used, otherwise they would reduce the flow through the fan too much.
Therefore, it is necessary to provide means that reduce the dust in the dirt container. For this purpose, it is known from the prior art to spray liquid or water into the air stream in the region of the suction device, which leads to the dust being set and settling on the bottom of the dirt container. The case in the dirt container reached water is collected via a provided at the bottom of the dirt container collecting tray and conveyed from there to the supply device for the water in the suction device. One speaks therefore of a circulating water device, since the water is used steadily.
The catch basin in the dirt container also serves as a reservoir for the liquid or water required during operation of the floor cleaning machine. Not least because of this, it is necessary to prevent the coarse dirt, which likewise enters the dirt container, from reaching the area of the collecting trough. Therefore, this is covered within the dirt container with a so-called sump lid, which prevents coarse dirt can get into the tub.
The water introduced into the container is returned to it via channels or passageways which are vertically connected to the container wall and which are connected to the collecting trough. However, the mesh size of the sieves is not so narrow that they can filter out all dirt from the water, otherwise the sieves would clog too quickly during operation.
In addition, partition walls are arranged in the drip pan, which divide the drip pan into a plurality of sections. The partitions have elongated holes through which the Water can pass through to get to the drain. These partitions serve primarily to reduce a back and forth sloshing of the water in the drip pan due to driving movements, so that water does not enter the circulation water device in a surge.
It is therefore the object of the present invention to provide a floor cleaning machine with an improved drip tray, which is designed such that it prevents fine dirt particles such as fabric fibers, sand and Pannennadeln get into the pipe system, the water from the drain of the sump leads to the suction unit. In this way, it should in particular be prevented that the pipeline system becomes clogged and complicated repairs or maintenance work become necessary.
This object is achieved in that in the drip pan, a brush element is arranged such that water has passed through the passage means into the drip pan must pass through the brush element before it can flow through the drain from the drip pan.
The brush element or brush provides a flow resistance for the water flowing to the drain through the sump, which reduces the flow rate of the water. As a result, the water flow is distributed over the entire width of the brush element and is filtered when passing through the brush element or the brush and freed of dirt particles.
In this case, the use of a brush with a plurality of bristles has proved to be particularly advantageous when the floor cleaning machine is in operation and that water sloshes back and forth in the sump due to driving movements. The driving movements or the sloshing water cause the bristles of the brush to move back and forth and are freed again and again of the settling in them fine dirt particles. The filter formed by the brush element thus cleans itself in contrast to screen or fabric filters automatically. In an alternative exemplary embodiment, a brush having a plurality of resilient rubber members may also be used.
The recurring cleaning process leads to a uniform entry of residual dirt in the pipe system, which connects the drain with the cleaning device. However, this is so low in relation to the water flow in the pipe system that there is no risk of clogging.
It is preferred that the brush element has a plurality of bristles, each having a free end, wherein assign the free ends of the flap. In other words, the bristles are fastened to a fixed end, for example in a common strip, and extend away from this strip toward the flap. Thus, the bristles are fixedly disposed in an area facing away from the flap while being more free to move closer to the flap. Thus, in the area farther away from the flap, which is closer to a bottom of the sump, a filter with a less flexible passage width is created to trap finer and heavier debris. In particular, heavier dirt settles on the drain to before the brush element alone due to its weight and the low flow velocity in the flow direction.
Preferably, a plurality of the free ends of the plurality of bristles abut the flap in the closed position. In other words, the free ends of the plurality of bristles project beyond a plane that extends from one to the sump assigning underside of the flap or sump flap is formed when the flap is not in the closed position. As a result, a dense filter between the drain and the rest of the drip pan is created in an advantageous manner, so that no water flow caused by driving movements on the brush over or over the brush can flow over into the drain.
It is particularly preferred if a plurality of the bristles is inclined at an angle of less than 90 ° to a plane in which the flap extends in the closed position, wherein preferably the plurality of bristles extends at an equal angle to the flap. In a preferred embodiment, the free ends of the bristles are inclined towards the drain. The direction of extension of the bristles is not to be understood as meaning that they must be aligned exactly in one direction. It is not only well known to those skilled in the art that, in particular, in use, the bristles of a brush will face in a variety of directions. However, a median direction will be determinable, and this median direction is preferably inclined at an angle less than 90 ° to the plane in which the flap extends. Thus, the flap can easily deform the bristles when closing, without a lot of force would be necessary. In addition, it is avoided that the bristles push the flap upwards away from the closed position and the collecting trough would not be completely closed. Furthermore, dirt particles deposited on the bristles are released by the deformation during opening and closing of the flap, as a result of which the bristles are additionally cleaned automatically.
In addition, in a preferred exemplary embodiment, the free ends of the plurality of bristles face in a direction in which the dirt container is tilted for emptying, so that dirt deposits during tilting and cleaning of the Dirt container can be avoided or easily be removed with a jet of water. In the exemplary preferred embodiment, the drain is arranged such that the free ends of the bristles face towards the drain towards and into the direction in which the waste container is dumped for emptying.
In a preferred embodiment, the sump has at least a first partition with a recess extending away from the flap, wherein the first partition is arranged such that water passing through the passage means into the sump must pass through the recess of the first partition before it drain through the drain from the sump. The first partition wall forms a sedimentation basin in a region of the collecting trough lying in the flow direction before the outflow. Water entering from the dirt collector into the drip pan into the area in front of the divider first collects in front of the divider and can not continue to flow. As soon as the water stops, heavier dirt sinks and settles to the bottom of the drip pan as sediment. Only when the area formed by the partition wall is filled so far with water that it can flow in the region of the recess above or through the partition, the water can reach the drain. This water is thus also free of such dirt particles that have settled in front of the partition as sediment on the bottom of the sump.
Preferably, the brush element is arranged in the recess of the first partition wall. In this case, in an exemplary preferred embodiment, the first partition wall may have a plurality of recesses, and a brush element is arranged in each of the plurality of recesses. In this way, in a particularly advantageous manner, the filtering of small and heavy dirt particles with the filtering the brush element can be combined in a single step.
Furthermore, it is preferred that the collecting trough has at least one and preferably a plurality of further partition walls with at least one recess extending away from the flap, wherein the further dividing wall or the further dividing walls are arranged in such a way that water which has passed into the collecting trough through the passage means passes through the recess of the further partition wall or the other partitions must occur before it can pass through the recess of the first partition. If a plurality of further dividing walls are provided, then they can certainly be arranged so that the water only has to pass through the recess of one of the plurality of dividing walls before it can pass through the recess of the first dividing wall. Thus, additional filter stages for filtering heavy dirt particles are created in a particularly advantageous manner. In addition, it is prevented by the partitions that the water in the drip pan by movements of the floor cleaning machine in operation too much back and forth slosh and sediments from the bottom of the sump again.
In an exemplary preferred embodiment, the flap is pivotally supported about a flap axis such that it can be pivoted between the closed position and the open position, and that the flap axis is arranged with respect to the center of gravity of the flap so that the flap is automatically influenced gravity pivots from the closed position to the open position when the dirt container is moved to the emptying position.
In such a holder of the flap on the drip pan, the flap pivots automatically when pivoting the Dirt container in its emptying position in the open position, so that the drip pan is released. Dirt, which may be together with residual water in the drip pan, then can move out of the drip pan during the upward movement of the dirt container and is thereby released together with the coarse dirt from the dirt container.
In addition, the drip pan is released when the dirt container is in the emptying position, so that it is no longer necessary with already raised dirt container to operate a designated actuator to open the door. Rather, an operator can immediately clean with a spray hose, the interior of the dirt container including the drip pan. This facilitates the operation considerably.
Preferably, in another exemplary embodiment, the flapper axis of the present invention about which the flap is pivotally supported is disposed parallel to the container axis about which the waste container is pivoted between the operative position and the deflate position.
For example, it is preferred that the flap be constructed and arranged to extend in the closed position of the flap in an opening plane defined by the position of the flap surface in the closed position.
Moreover, if a line perpendicular to the plane of the opening through the leading edge of the flap also intersects the junction plane between the container axis and flap axis, it ensures that the axis about which the sump flap pivots is "in front" of the flap, and thus the flap in the deflation position the drip pan releases on a large scale. This results in particular when the center of gravity in the vertical direction has a large distance from the axis about which swamp flap pivots. To further enhance this, it is advantageous if a flap arm extends upward from the flap into the interior of the debris container, the flap arm being pivotally connected to a container arm extending from the container wall, the connection being in the flap axis.
It is particularly advantageous if the free end of the flap arm in a further exemplary embodiment of the invention, where it is pivotally connected to the free end of the container arm, extends beyond a perpendicular to the opening plane extending through the front edge level. This ensures that the flapper axis is indeed "in front" of the sump above and in the direction of travel, so that the flap in the open position, when the dirt container is in the emptying position, is far away from the sump so that it is particularly good is accessible.
Finally, openings are advantageously provided in an exemplary embodiment in the flap, which are closed by sieve elements, on the one hand liquid to allow it to enter the drip pan, but prevent dirt from entering.
Particularly advantageous is the arrangement described above, when the floor cleaning machine is provided in an exemplary embodiment with a suction device for receiving debris from the surface to be cleaned, the suction device is connected to the dirt container via a suction tube, wherein means are provided, an air flow from the suction device through the suction tube into the dirt container, wherein the suction device comprises means for supplying liquid into the air flow and wherein the collecting trough is connected to the supply means.
When the floor cleaning machine has such circulation water supply as described above for minimizing dust formation in the dirt container, the sump door ensures on the one hand that little dirt gets into the collecting trough, but on the other hand enables easy cleaning of the collecting trough when the dirt container is in the emptying position.

The
The
The use of a
If the floor cleaning machine is operated and drives it over a
The
The dividing
