Innerhalb der Beschleunigungsstrecke 12 bedeutet, dass der Produktstrom 14 für jeden zu bildenden Strang 11 vor dem Eintritt in den jeweiligen Kanal 16 durch den Teiler 23 bereichsweise gesperrt ist, so dass das Ansaugen/Aufschauern des Fasermaterials 13 in einem Abschnitt des Saugbandes 19, in dem die Düseneinheit 20 mit der oder jeder Düse 21 angeordnet ist, unterbrochen ist. Bevorzugt ist der Abstand des Abweiserelementes 26 zum Saugband 19 bzw. zum daran hängenden Strang 11 gleich oder kleiner als der Abstand der Düse 21 zum Saugband 19 bzw. zum daran hängenden Strang 11. Dadurch ist in der Höhe eine vollständige Abdeckung der oder jeder Düse 21 durch das Abweiserelement 26 gewährleistet. Zum Anpassen des Abstandes zum Saugband 19 kann das Abweiserelement 26 auch höhenverstellbar sein. In der Breite erstreckt sich jedes Abweiserelement 26 mindestens über einen Teil der Breite BK des Kanals 16. Vorzugsweise erstreckt sich das Abweiserelement 26 quer zur Transportrichtung T nahezu über die gesamte Breite BK des Kanals 16, also von Kanalwange 17 zu Kanalwange 18. Dem an dem Saugband 19 hängenden Fasermaterial 13 wird vor dem Beenden der Strangbildung, also vor dem Austrittsbereich A aus der Vorrichtung 10, ein fließfähiger Stoff zugeführt. Erfindungsgemäß wird der Produktstrom 14 mit Erreichen des Kanals 16 oder kurz vor Erreichen des Kanals 16 für jeden zu bildenden Strang 11 aufgeteilt und um die Düseneinheit 20 herumgeleitet, so dass das Ansaugen des Fasermaterials 13 an das Saugband 19 bereichsweise unterbrochen ist. - Apparatus (10) for forming at least one rod (11) of the tobacco-processing industry, comprising an acceleration section (12) for conveying a product flow (14) composed of fibre material (13) in conveying direction F to at least one suction rod conveyor (15), a channel (16) formed in conveying direction F at the end of the acceleration section (12) and extending at least over the width of the acceleration section (12), which channel (16) is restricted on both longitudinal sides by a channel cheek (17, 18), at least one suction rod conveyor (15), wherein a suction tape (19) of the suction rod conveyor (15) restricts the channel (16) towards the top and is driven in transport direction T, which runs transverse to conveying direction F, as well as a nozzle unit (20) which comprises at least one nozzle (21) projecting into the channel (16) for applying free-flowing substances onto the fibre material (23) stuck to the suction tape (19), characterised in that a divider (23) for dividing the product flow (14) flowing out of the acceleration section (12) into the channel (16) is arranged upstream of the nozzle unit (20) in conveying direction F of the product flow (14) within the acceleration section (12) for each rod (11) to be formed, wherein the divider (23) is formed to be wedge-shaped in such a manner that the divider (23) becomes wider in the direction of the nozzle unit (20) so that the nozzle unit (20) is fully covered.
- Apparatus according to claim 1, characterised in that a deflector element (26) is arranged upstream of the or each nozzle (21) in transport direction T of the rod (11) within the channel (16).
- Apparatus according to claim 2, characterised in that the distance of the deflector element (26) from the suction tape (19) is equal to or smaller than the distance of the nozzle (21) from the suction tape (19).
- Apparatus according to claim 2 or 3, characterised in that the deflector element (26) extends transverse to transport direction T almost over the entire width of the channel (16).
- Apparatus according to any one of claims 2 to 4, characterised in that the deflector element (26) is formed to be height-adjustable.
- Apparatus according to any one of claims 2 to 5, characterised in that the deflector element (26) is a spring-steel plate (27).
- Apparatus according to any one of claims 2 to 5, characterised in that the deflector element (26) is a pressure roller (28).
- Apparatus according to claim 7, characterised in that the pressure roller (28) is driven.
- Apparatus according to any one of claims 1 to 8, characterised in that the or each nozzle (21) has an adjustable inclination.
- Apparatus according to any one of claims 7 to 9, characterised in that the or each nozzle (21) is integrated into a nozzle block (29) which has a scraper element (30) on the side facing the pressure roller (28).
- Distributor apparatus (22) for feeding a rod maker of the tobacco-processing industry with a product flow (14) composed of fibre material (13), comprising, in conveying direction F of the product flow (14), a reservoir (33) for receiving the fibre material (13), a conveying apparatus (34) for transporting the fibre material (13) from the reservoir (33) into a conveying section (36) for transporting the fibre material (13) to a bulking chute (37), the bulking chute (37) for forming a supply of the fibre material (13), a spreader device (38) arranged at the end of the bulking chute (37), as well as an apparatus (10) for forming at least one rod (11), characterised in that the apparatus (10) for forming at least one rod (11) is formed according to any one of claims 1 to 10.
