Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft Schutzvorrichtungen zum Schutz von LED-Leuchtmitteln gegen Störimpulse. Die Schutzvorrichtung kann in ein Betriebsgerät (10), ein LED-Leuchtmodul (22) oder als separates Modul (30) ausgeführt sein und zeichnet sich aus durch eine mit den beiden LED-Anschlüsse verbundene Schutzschaltung (11) mit einer ersten Schutzkomponente (12), welche vorzugsweise spannungsbegrenzend wirkt, und mit einer zweiten Schutzkomponente (14; 13; 13A), welche die erste Schutzkomponente mit einem LED-Anschluss verbindet, wobei die erste Schutzkomponente (12), vorzugsweise unmittelbar oder über eine weitere Schutzkomponente (13B), mit dem anderen LED-Anschluss verbunden ist. Über einen Schutzanschluss bzw. Schutzleiter (16) ist zumindest die erste Schutzkomponente (12) mit einem Teil (18) in oder an einem Träger (17) des LED-Leuchtmittels, insbesondere ein Metallkern oder Kühlkörper, mit der Schutzschaltung (11) verbindbar ist, um störimpulsbedingte Überspannungen am LED-Leuchtmittel (2) zu begrenzen.

The invention relates to protective devices for the protection of LED bulbs against glitches. At least the first protective component (12) with a part (18) in or on a carrier (17) of the LED lighting means, in particular a metal core or heat sink, can be connected to the protective circuit (11) via a protective connection or protective conductor (16) to limit glitches caused by surges on the LED light source (2).
