Description

Mehrwegelautsprecher  Multiway speaker
The invention relates to a loudspeaker according to the preamble of claim 1. Loudspeakers, in particular reusable loudspeakers, are of course well known in the art. For example, a multi-way speaker is known from DE 10 2008 016 570 A1.
From DE 30 37 496 A1 a loudspeaker with a plurality of individual loudspeakers is known, which are directed towards each other within a loudspeaker housing such that the sound radiation direction of each loudspeaker is directed to a central axis of a funnel neck. At the same time, all speakers emit only towards the front through the funnel neck. From DE 40 36 152 A1 discloses a loudspeaker arrangement in a multi-way system is known, with loudspeakers for bass and mid-tone facing the front while the loudspeaker for treble is rotatably mounted. Again, the cone of the tweeter is kept narrow. From DE 21 09 758 A1 discloses a speaker with active auxiliary speaker is known. Both loudspeakers are connected to each other via a coherent volume, whereby the compression of one loudspeaker generated within the volume is compensated by the diaphragm movement of the other loudspeaker. From EP 0204106 A1 a loudspeaker system is known, wherein two individual loudspeakers are arranged at an anterior side of a box at an angle to one another and emit towards the front side.
US Pat. No. 4,006,308 discloses a loudspeaker arrangement with individual loudspeakers arranged around a housing on the outside.
In DE 10 2007 019 450 A1 discloses a about a vertical axis of rotation rotationally symmetric, omnidirectional radiating horn is disclosed which has a top and a bottom, which together have a ball as an envelope. It is an object of the invention to provide a loudspeaker with an improved spatial radiation behavior.
This object is achieved by an aforementioned speaker having the features of claim 1. Preferred embodiments are subject of the dependent claims.
The loudspeaker according to the invention is a multi-way loudspeaker which has at least one tweeter and a further sounder separated therefrom and separately formed, preferably a center woofer. For a further embodiment of the invention, instead of a common further sounder, a separate midrange and a separate woofer and / or further further sounder are provided. An outer contour of the loudspeaker is essentially cuboid.
According to the invention, the high-frequency tweeter has a high-frequency membrane which is arranged at a distance from a reflection wall and a free space generated by the high-frequency membrane preferably vertically outgoing high-frequency sound cone with a high-frequency main emission. The high-frequency main emission direction is preferably directed perpendicular to the reflection wall. The reflection wall is conveniently formed as a straight surface. The reflection wall is formed along its entire extent parallel to the high-frequency membrane.
The free space has openings for the exit of the high-frequency sound waves to the room to be sounded out. This increases the emission cone of the high tones into the room to be sounded.
In one embodiment of the invention, the openings of the free space are preferably formed not only to the front, but also to the sides and possibly even to the back. Due to the alignment of the tweeter on a reflection wall, the, according to the prior art, substantially one-dimensional radiation behavior of high frequencies is further scattered because the reflected from the reflection wall high frequencies can pass through all openings of the free space and thus may have a radiation behavior, at least directed in three directions into the room to be sounded. The reflection wall may have a flat surface or an uneven surface. In the second embodiment of the Refelxionswandung small, obliquely placed parcels are preferably provided which convey reflections in the direction of the openings of the free space. The reflection wall preferably separates the resonance chamber completely from the free space. Both rooms are acoustically decoupled and completely separated.
Preferably, the free space between the tweeter and the at least one further sounder is provided.
The further Töner is conveniently located in a wall of a resonant space, which is preferably provided to the ground below the free space in the speaker. The resonance space is preferably dimensioned to the frequencies of the further tones, in particular the lower tones or possibly middle tones. This makes it possible for the resonance chamber, the energy of the other tones, which is not emitted via the front into the room, but is radiated back into the resonance chamber, to absorb by vibrations of the walls of the resonator and in the other spatial directions, especially laterally or to radiate over the back wall.
This property of the resonance space is no longer or only very much less available for high frequencies. According to the prior art loudspeakers have indeed a fairly wide radiation behavior in the low tones, but only a very narrow emission cone in the high tones in the room to be sounded. The radiation behavior is widened according to the invention in the high tones and thus improved.
Conveniently, the free space to the back of the speaker is completely closed. Under the back here is the side facing away from the room to be sounded loudspeaker understood. Openings of the free space conveniently only to the front and the two sides, but not to the back, because the speaker is usually on a wall and a radiation capacity to the front and the two sides is completely sufficient to the room sufficiently beschallen.
Preferably, the free space to the front and to the sides is not completely open, but he has at least one support for stability reasons, so that a roof area of the speaker, in which the tweeter is installed on the continuous rear wall and two lateral front supports with connected to the resonance chamber of the speaker and despite the three openings is sufficiently stable. Of course, further supports can be provided. Preferably, exactly one support is provided. As a result, the radiated sound waves are particularly little disturbed. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, a housing of the loudspeaker is rectangular in a cross-section oriented parallel to the floor, preferably square, and a support is provided at each of the corners of the roof section and the free space. This gives the speaker a sufficient stability and is still inexpensive to produce.

In Fig. 1, the speaker 1 according to the invention is shown schematically with a tweeter 2 and a mid / woofer 3. The speaker 1 in Fig. 1 is on a floor 4 of a room to be sounded and provided in the floor 4 facing region means - Woofer 3 is disposed on a front side 6 of the speaker 1 and radiates into the room to be sounded in from. A main emission direction 7 of the center woofer 3 is arranged perpendicular to a membrane 8.
At the Reflection wall 14, the high-frequency sound waves are reflected and can be radiated through front and side openings 16, 17, 18 of the free space 9 in the room to be sounded in three directions. The mid / woofer 8 is arranged on the bottom side in the front side 6 of the loudspeaker 1, which has a resonance chamber 21 in the bottom-side section. Although the driver / woofer 8 emits primarily in the main emission direction 7 from the front, but on resonance effects and vibration excitations of the lateral wall and rear wall of the resonance chamber 21 in particular in the two lateral directions. However, the center woofer 8 also radiates towards the back of the loudspeaker due to the described effects.

Fig. 2 shows the speaker 1 in Fig. 1 in a view obliquely from behind. In Fig. 2, the closed rear side of the speaker 1 can be seen and indicated translucently arranged on the front 6 of the speaker 1 center / woofer 8 and the space 9 of the speaker 1 and at the free space 9 facing downwardly facing inner wall 1 1 provided Tweeter 2. The rear wall of the speaker 1 is completely closed. The tweeter 2 radiates by reflection of the sound waves at the reflection wall 14 only to the front 6 and to the two sides through the designated three openings 16, 17, 18 in the wall of the speaker 1 from.
The radiation behavior of the low frequencies is shown in FIGS. 3a, 3b in comparison to the radiation behavior of the high frequencies. For the loudspeaker according to the invention the radiation behavior is shown in Fig. 3a and for the speaker according to the prior art in Fig. 3b.
FIGS. 3a and 3b show the same emission behavior with regard to the low frequencies. The woofer / midrange is the same in the loudspeakers of FIGS. 3a and 3b. The low tones are radiated into the entire room to be sounded, as shown in Figures 1 and 2.
By directed perpendicular to the bottom 4 in the space 9 in high-frequency membrane 12 of the tweeter 2 creates a relation to the shown in Fig. 3b known prior art improved spatial radiation behavior of the high-frequency tones. A high frequency acoustic cone 22 is shown in Figs. 3a and 3b. 3a shows the radiation behavior of the loudspeaker separated according to high frequencies and low frequencies in FIGS. 1 and 2. Since the low-frequency membrane 8 radiates into the resonant space 21 of the loudspeaker 1, a part of the energy of the low frequencies becomes from the walls of the resonating space 21 recorded and therefore also laterally and radiated towards the back. A low frequency sound cone! 23 is about 270 ° open and faces the front 6 and the two sides. The radiation behavior and the shape of the low-frequency sound cone 23 of the woofer 8 are substantially the same in both figures. The tweeter 2 radiates perpendicular to the reflection wall 14. By reflection on the reflection wall 14, the high frequencies in FIG. 3a also radiate in three different directions into the space to be sounded via the three openings 16, 17, 18 provided in the free space 9. The three-part high-frequency sound cone 22 according to the invention is shown in FIG. 3a.
In contrast, the radiation behavior of a conventional loudspeaker according to FIG. 3 b, the tweeter 2 of which, like the woofer 3, is likewise provided on the front side 6, preferably at a distance from the bottom 4, above the woofer 8. The high frequencies of the conventional loudspeaker preferably emit exclusively toward the front, since the resonance effect of the resonant space 21 at the high frequencies is significantly lower than at the low frequencies to which the resonance space is designed. The high-frequency sound cone 22 is directed exclusively forward. The low frequency acoustic cone 23 is directed both forward and to the sides as in the invention.
