Claims (14)

  1. Sensing apparatus (10) for marks on a roll, in particular a format roll (110), in the printing region (100) of a printing press (200), having a pivotable sensing arm (20) with a sensing head (22) for sensing the marks and a drive (30) for pivoting the sensing arm (20) between a sensing position (A) and a parked position (P), it being possible for the sensing head (22) to be shielded in the parked position (P) by at least one shielding element (40) with respect to the printing region (100) of the printing press (200), characterized in that the pivoting takes place on a circular path or a partially circular path, the pivoting region between the sensing position (A) and the parked position (P) lying in the range between approximately 0° and approximately 180°.
