Abstract
Ein erfindungsgemäßes Verfahren zum Erzeugen eines Druckbildes (2) auf einem zu bedruckenden Objekt (3), wobei zum Bedrucken des Objekts eine erste Tintenstrahl-Druckeinheit (D1) mit einem ersten Feld von Tintenstrahl-Düsen (F1) und eine zweite Tintenstrahl-Druckeinheit (D2) mit einem zweiten Feld von Tintenstrahl-Düsen (F2) und zum Fördern des Objekts in eine Förderrichtung (5) eine Fördereinheit (4) eingesetzt werden, wobei das erste Feld und das zweite Feld im Wesentlichen senkrecht zur Förderrichtung verlaufen und dabei teilweise in einem Überlapp-Bereich (L) überlappen, mit den Schritten: - Drucken eines ersten Abschnitts (A1) des Druckbildes mit der ersten Druckeinheit an einer ersten Position (P1), - Fördern des Objekts von der ersten Position zu einer von der ersten Position beabstandeten zweiten Position (P2), und - Drucken eines zweiten Abschnitts (A2) des Druckbildes mit der zweiten Druckeinheit an der zweiten Position , zeichnet sich durch die weiteren Schritte aus: - Messen eines ersten Positionswertes (H1) des Objekts an der ersten Position (und eines zweiten Positionswertes (H2) des Objekts an der zweiten Position, -Bestimmen einer Positionsänderung (Delta_H) des Objekts im Wesentlichen senkrecht zur Förderrichtung unter Verwendung des ersten und des zweiten Positionswertes, und - Kompensation der Positionsänderung beim Drucken des zweiten Abschnitts durch im Wesentlichen nahtloses Drucken des zweiten Abschnitts an den ersten Abschnitt unter Einsatz von einer der Positionsänderung entsprechenden Anzahl von Düsen (9) innerhalb des Überlapp-Bereichs des zweiten Felds und einer komplementären Anzahl von Düsen außerhalb des Überlapp-Bereichs des zweiten Felds. An inventive method for producing a printed image (2) on an object to be printed (3), wherein for printing the object, a first ink jet printing unit (D1) having a first array of ink jet nozzles (F1) and a second ink jet printing unit ( D2) with a second field of inkjet nozzles (F2) and for conveying the object in a conveying direction (5) a conveyor unit (4) are used, wherein the first field and the second field substantially perpendicular to the conveying direction and thereby partially in an overlap area (L), comprising the steps of: - printing a first portion (A1) of the print image with the first printing unit at a first position (P1), - conveying the object from the first position to a position spaced from the first position second position (P2), and - printing a second portion (A2) of the printed image with the second printing unit at the second position, characterized by the further steps a us: - measuring a first position value (H1) of the object at the first position (and a second position value (H2) of the object at the second position, - determining a position change (Delta_H) of the object substantially perpendicular to the conveying direction using the first and the second position value, and compensating the position change in printing the second portion by substantially seamlessly printing the second portion to the first portion using a number of nozzles (9) corresponding to the position change within the overlap area of the second field and a complementary one Number of nozzles outside the overlap area of the second field.
