Figur 1 zeigt einen Schließzylinder 1 mit einem Schlüssel 2. Der Schließzylinder 1 hat einen in einem Gehäuse 3 drehbaren Kern 4 und Stiftzuhaltungen 5 zur wahlweisen Blockierung oder Freigabe der Bewegung des Kerns 4. Weiterhin hat der Schließzylinder 1 eine Nebenzuhaltung 6. In dem Kern 4 ist ein Schließkanal 7 zur Einführung eines Schlüsselschaftes 8 des Schlüssels 2 angeordnet. Der Kern 4 ist mit einem Schließbart 9 verbunden. Der Schlüssel 2 hat auf dem Schlüsselschaft 8 mehrere Schließkerben 10 zur Ansteuerung der Stiftzuhaltungen 5 und ein Steuerelement 11 zur Ansteuerung der Nebenzuhaltung 6. Bei dem Steuerelement 11 kann es sich beispielsweise um einen auf dem Schlüsselschaft 8 angeordneten Steg oder ein in den Schlüsselschaft 8 eingepresstes Bauteil handeln. Die Stiftzuhaltungen 5 haben jeweils in dem Kern 4 geführte und in den Schließkanal 7 hineinragende Kernstifte 12 und in dem Gehäuse 3 geführte von Federelementen 13 vorgespannte Gehäusestifte 14. Die Nebenzuhaltung 6 hat einen axial verschieblichen Steuerstift 15 mit einem in dem Kern 4 geführten Schaft 16 und einen in einer Fangtasche 17 des Kerns 4 angeordneten Kopf 18. Der Schaft 16 ist zwischen zwei Stiftzuhaltungen 5 angeordnet, während der Kopf 18 eine Breite zur Ansteuerung der beiden Stiftzuhaltungen 5 hat. FIG. 1 shows a lock cylinder 1 with a key 2. Erst wenn ein Steuerstift 33 der Nebenzuhaltung 27 durch einen nicht dargestellten geeigneten Schlüssel derart bewegt wird, dass die Kernelemente 32 aus der Fangtasche 31 herausgerückt werden, kann der Kern 30 gegenüber dem Gehäuse 28 bewegt werden.
