Definitions
- the invention relates to a drinking cup.
- Drinking cups are available for hot and cold drinks, for multiple use and for disposal, and accordingly made of various materials such as ceramic, glass, metal, plastic, with waterproof or water-repellent coating or impregnated paperboard and combinations thereof.
- a cup in the widest sense according to the invention are understood vessels that can grab and lift up according to size and weight with one hand as intended and having an opening (drinking opening) with a shape of its edge, which allows a drip-free drinking, and a standing surface or Stand device that allows the placement of the cup on a horizontal plane, so that then liquid still remains in the cup.
- vessels (as intended parked on a horizontal plane) at least in the region of the opening about a vertical axis are rotationally symmetric and at least in the region of the opening at least with its inner wall from the edge axially downwardly tapered.
- lids and cups are known to cover, which can prevent spilling the drinking liquid therein, cover the drinking opening.
- Such lids and cups, and also the inventive, are particularly intended for keeping ready in restaurants, where drinks (also) are served for consumption on the way.
- the known lids are preferably made of plastic such as recyclable polypropylene and usually have a snap structure, which is suitable for snappingly encompassing an edge region of the drinking opening of a cup.
- cups for disposal in particular made of plastic or cardboard usually have a drinking rim surrounding the drinking rim, which has a circular outwardly flared cross-section. This is then gripped by known snap structures known generic lid snapping form-fitting.
- These lids are known both in the diameter of the lid edge-near snap structure and in the snap-opening width of the Cup geometry, for which they are intended, adapted and in particular also standardized.
- the cup walls consist at least partially of foldable flat material.
- Foldable means according to the invention only that the flat material (immediately at the beginning of a load or possibly only from a certain Grenzverformungsgrad) not only elastically but also plastically deformed, said Grenzverformungsgrad on a piece of flat material of the size, which is installed in the respective cup, with Achieve hand strength.
- the walls of known cups made of foldable flat material are usually optimized to make the flat material as thin as possible in order to save material (and thus to throw away as little as possible thereof).
- this material saving is done, as has been found to be detrimental to the price, that the cups are slightly pushed in even slightly too tight access. And this deformation then carries the risk that deforms, for example, the underside of the cup base and makes the cup tilted.
- An additional risk also exists that, along creases or creases that may be created when impressed, the wall not only plastically deforms but also leaks, for example because it breaks brittle.
- the invention is based on the object to provide a drinking cup of foldable flat material, which can handle more trouble-free.
- a drinking cup with the features of claim 1.
- Preferred embodiments are specified in the subclaims.
- a cup made of foldable flat material has at least one desired folding line, along which a convex wall of the cup can be impressed in a form-stable concave manner.

- the flat material is, for example, cardboard, preferably with a waterproof or water-repellent, in particular cup-inside coating, or plastic, for example polypropylene.
- the desired fold line in the beaker wall is a line of thinner wall thickness and / or an embossed and / or a prefolded line. If a user now loads a (convex) beaker wall, for example, with his thumb and / or forefinger in the immediate vicinity of the desired fold line, this is pressed in as in the prior art, but does not deform undirected, as is the case, but is pressed in a concave, dimensionally stable manner along the desired fold line , Dimensionally stable means according to the invention only that the flat material immediately at the beginning of the load or possibly only above a certain Grenzverformungsgrad along the Sollfaltline not only elastically but also plastically deformed, this limit deformation on the cup according to the invention can be achieved with manual force.
- the pressed-in area according to the invention can serve the beaker wall as a structural reinforcement.
- the Sollfaltline in the beaker wall is closed annular, and more preferably mirror-symmetrical to a plane which is oriented vertically when the cup is intended on a horizontal plane.
- annular Sollfaltline a depressible according to the invention area which annularly surrounded by the Sollfaltline and, pressed in convex, forms a trough, which in turn can serve the beaker wall as a structural reinforcement and can be particularly preferably used as a recessed grip.
- the desired folding line according to the invention can additionally serve advantageously by the well-known simple cup shapes especially disposable cups namely mostly frusto-conical, so in their lateral surface then exclusively convex shape by the curved and / or bent as desired Sollfaltlinien according to the invention an additional design element get in which the lateral surface after the impressions also provides concave design elements - and even allowed to produce a waisted cup shape.
- a plurality of desired fold lines are equal and although particularly preferably evenly distributed on a circumference of the cup and / or arranged at the same height of the cup, a regular circumferential pattern of concave Aussteifungseind Wegungen arise.
- a cup shape can arise with particularly strong waisted appearance.
- a drinking cup 2 for warm or cold drinks to throw away from inside with plastic coated cardboard has (intended parked on a horizontal plane 4) above a drinking opening 6 and below an annular stand edge 8, which allows the placement of the cup 2 on a horizontal plane 4 so that the drinking liquid 10 remains in the cup.
- the cup 2 is rotationally symmetrical about a vertical axis 12 and tapers not only in the region of the drinking opening 6 but in total with its peripheral wall 14 from the edge of the drinking opening 6 axially (in the direction of the vertical axis 12) downwards conically.
- the drinking opening 6 is surrounded by a drinking rim 16, which has a circular cross-section flared to the outside.
- the cups 2 are the same design in all figures - and therefore despite their diversity regarding each different Sollfaltlinien 22 according to the various figures with the same reference numerals for the same features.
- Each of the cups 2 according to all figures has at least two Sollfaltlinien 22, along which in each case one or two convex walls 24 of the respective cup 2 are concave form-stable pressed. Except in FIG. 5b are the walls 24 of the respective cup 2 all pressed concave dimensionally stable.

Description
Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf einen Trinkbecher. The invention relates to a drinking cup.
Drinking cups are available for hot and cold drinks, for multiple use and for disposal, and accordingly made of various materials such as ceramic, glass, metal, plastic, with waterproof or water-repellent coating or impregnated paperboard and combinations thereof. As a cup in the widest sense according to the invention are understood vessels that can grab and lift up according to size and weight with one hand as intended and having an opening (drinking opening) with a shape of its edge, which allows a drip-free drinking, and a standing surface or Stand device that allows the placement of the cup on a horizontal plane, so that then liquid still remains in the cup. In particular, however, understood as a cup in the narrower sense of the invention, vessels (as intended parked on a horizontal plane) at least in the region of the opening about a vertical axis are rotationally symmetric and at least in the region of the opening at least with its inner wall from the edge axially downwardly tapered.
For such and in particular provided for disposal cups are known to cover, which can prevent spilling the drinking liquid therein, cover the drinking opening. Such lids and cups, and also the inventive, are particularly intended for keeping ready in restaurants, where drinks (also) are served for consumption on the way. The known lids are preferably made of plastic such as recyclable polypropylene and usually have a snap structure, which is suitable for snappingly encompassing an edge region of the drinking opening of a cup. In particular cups for disposal, in particular made of plastic or cardboard usually have a drinking rim surrounding the drinking rim, which has a circular outwardly flared cross-section. This is then gripped by known snap structures known generic lid snapping form-fitting. These lids are known both in the diameter of the lid edge-near snap structure and in the snap-opening width of the Cup geometry, for which they are intended, adapted and in particular also standardized.
In the known cups, in particular those for disposal, for example made of plastic or paper provided with waterproof or water-repellent coating or impregnation, the cup walls consist at least partially of foldable flat material. Foldable means according to the invention only that the flat material (immediately at the beginning of a load or possibly only from a certain Grenzverformungsgrad) not only elastically but also plastically deformed, said Grenzverformungsgrad on a piece of flat material of the size, which is installed in the respective cup, with Achieve hand strength.
The walls of known cups made of foldable flat material are usually optimized to make the flat material as thin as possible in order to save material (and thus to throw away as little as possible thereof). However, this material saving is done, as has been found to be detrimental to the price, that the cups are slightly pushed in even slightly too tight access. And this deformation then carries the risk that deforms, for example, the underside of the cup base and makes the cup tilted. An additional risk also exists that, along creases or creases that may be created when impressed, the wall not only plastically deforms but also leaks, for example because it breaks brittle.
The invention is based on the object to provide a drinking cup of foldable flat material, which can handle more trouble-free.
This object is achieved by a drinking cup with the features of
For the purposes of the invention, "convex wall" means a wall curved convexly to the outside of the cup, at least in regions and at least and preferably simply (around at least one axis of curvature) curved. The flat material is, for example, cardboard, preferably with a waterproof or water-repellent, in particular cup-inside coating, or plastic, for example polypropylene.
Preferably, the desired fold line in the beaker wall is a line of thinner wall thickness and / or an embossed and / or a prefolded line. If a user now loads a (convex) beaker wall, for example, with his thumb and / or forefinger in the immediate vicinity of the desired fold line, this is pressed in as in the prior art, but does not deform undirected, as is the case, but is pressed in a concave, dimensionally stable manner along the desired fold line , Dimensionally stable means according to the invention only that the flat material immediately at the beginning of the load or possibly only above a certain Grenzverformungsgrad along the Sollfaltlinie not only elastically but also plastically deformed, this limit deformation on the cup according to the invention can be achieved with manual force. The pressed-in area according to the invention can serve the beaker wall as a structural reinforcement.
Preferably, the Sollfaltlinie in the beaker wall is closed annular, and more preferably mirror-symmetrical to a plane which is oriented vertically when the cup is intended on a horizontal plane. Thus, limited by the annular Sollfaltlinie a depressible according to the invention area which annularly surrounded by the Sollfaltlinie and, pressed in convex, forms a trough, which in turn can serve the beaker wall as a structural reinforcement and can be particularly preferably used as a recessed grip. For aesthetically designing the cup, the desired folding line according to the invention can additionally serve advantageously by the well-known simple cup shapes especially disposable cups namely mostly frusto-conical, so in their lateral surface then exclusively convex shape by the curved and / or bent as desired Sollfaltlinien according to the invention an additional design element get in which the lateral surface after the impressions also provides concave design elements - and even allowed to produce a waisted cup shape.
In particular, if in particular on a cup according to the invention preferably a plurality of desired fold lines are equal and although particularly preferably evenly distributed on a circumference of the cup and / or arranged at the same height of the cup, a regular circumferential pattern of concave Aussteifungseindrückungen arise. In particular, if such one or more times in pairs (distributed by 180 ° on the circumference) are opposite each other on the circumference, a cup shape can arise with particularly strong waisted appearance.
