Zudem liegen im wesentlichen die Oberflächen der Teile des Grundkörpers aneinander an, so dass zwischen den Einzelteilen des Grundkörpers keine durch die Scharnierelemente gebildete Wärmebrücke entsteht. Gemäß einer alternativen Ausführungsform oder ergänzend zur ersten Ausführungsform können weitere Beschläge vorgesehen sein, die ein Riegelelement und ein mit dem Riegelelement verbindbares Aufnahmeelement umfassen. - Load carrier with a base body (12) consisting of a particle foam material and with at least one coating (20), which consists of a material that is more rigid than the particle foam material and which comprises an anchoring part (28), anchored in the base body (12) and completely embedded in the particle foam material, and a functional part (30) projecting from a surface of the base body (12), characterised in that the at least one coating (20) consists of rigid plastic, in that the base body (12) and the at least one coating (20) are manufactured from the same plastic, in particular from polypropylene, from polyethylene or from polyurethane and in that on the one hand the at least one coating (20) comprises a hinge connecting two parts (14, 16, 18) of the base body (12) to each other in a pivotable manner, said hinge is anchored by means of a first anchoring part (28) in a first of the two parts (14) and by means of a second anchoring part (28) in the second part (16, 18) and/or in that on the other hand the base body (12) comprises at least two opposing movable parts (16, 18) and in that a first coating (22) is a locking element (22) anchored by means of the anchoring part thereof (28) in a first of the two parts (18) and a second coating (24) is a receiving element (24) anchored by means of the anchoring part thereof (28) in the second part (16) in order to connect to the locking element (22).
- Load carrier according to claim 1, characterised in that the anchoring part (28) comprises a flat section (36), which is provided with openings (48) and in that the particle foam extends through the openings (48).
- Load carrier according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the base body (12) comprises a plurality of parts (14, 16, 18) integrally manufactured from expanded polypropylene, from expanded polyethylene or from expanded polyurethane.
- Load carrier according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the first and/or the second anchoring part (28) comprises at least one barb (38) pointing with the free end thereof (40) to the functional part (30).
- Load carrier according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised by at least one further coating (24, 112) which consists of the same rigid plastic as the coating (20) and which comprises an anchoring part (28) anchored in the base body (12) and completely embedded in the particle foam material and a functional part (30) projecting from a surface of the base body (12), wherein the at least one further coating (24, 112) is a reinforcement element encompassing an edge or a corner of the base body (12) with the functional part thereof (30) or covering a surface of the base body (12).
- Load carrier according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised by at least one further coating (112), which consists of the same rigid plastic as the coating (20) and which comprises an anchoring part (28) anchored in the base body (12) and completely embedded in the particle foam material and a functional part (30) projecting from a surface of the base body (12), wherein the at least one further coating (112) comprises a handgrip (114) as the functional part (30).
- Method for manufacturing a load carrier (10) according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein one mould for the base body (12) is filled with foam particles, wherein the at least one coating (20, 22, 24, 112) is fastened to the mould prior to or following the filling of the mould with the anchoring part (28) penetrating into the mould and wherein the foam particles in the mould are sintered with each other by application of heat following the fastening of the at least one coating (20, 22, 24, 112) to the mould.
