Description

Stand der Technik:State of the art:

The invention relates to a device for corrugated cardboard or cardboard. For this purpose, the state of the art is initially attached to the attached FIGS. 20 to 22 referenced, in which a tool 100 consisting of an upper tool part 101 and a lower tool part 102 is shown, with the aid of which in the exemplary embodiment 3-ply corrugated cardboard 1 is provided with a groove 5. The tool 100 usually also serves for punching blanks of the corrugated cardboard 1, and has for this purpose in its usually made of hard wood tool upper part 101 a receptacle 103 for receiving a perpendicular to the plane of the FIGS. 20 and 21 extending crease line 105. The score line 105 is provided on the corrugated cardboard 1 side facing with a rounding 106.

The corrugated cardboard 1 consists of an outer layer 2, an inner layer 3, and arranged between the outer layer 2 and the inner layer 3, corrugated intermediate layer 4. However, the corrugated cardboard 1 may consist of more than three layers. In particular, it may be provided that the outer layer 2 of the corrugated cardboard 1, which usually serves as a packaging, is designed as a printed outer layer 2, ie. H. in particular, a colored print image or the like.

The upper tool part 101 and the lower tool part 102 are arranged movably relative to one another in the direction of the double arrow 107 by means of a drive, not shown. When in the Fig. 20 illustrated first embodiment according to the prior art, the corrugated cardboard 1 is flat with its outer layer 3 on the upper side of the lower tool part 102, so that when the tool upper part 101 is lowered, the creasing line 105 corrupts the inner layer 3 and the intermediate layer 4 in the region of the crease 5 and thereby forms the crease 5. The disadvantage here is that when bending the corrugated cardboard 1 in the region of the groove 5, as shown by the Fig. 22 shown by the arrows 108, the two arranged next to the grooving 5, with the inner layer 3 connected shaft portions 7 and 8 abut each other and thereby cause in the region of the edge 9 a (tension) tension in the area of the outer plant 2, which causes the outer layer 2 tears. This tearing of the outer layer 2 is qualitatively very disadvantageous, in particular in the case of the mentioned printed outer layers 2, since the tearing is visually very easily recognizable and, if appropriate, a damaged packaging is closed.

In order to reduce the tearing of the outer layer 2 of the corrugated cardboard 1 or possibly even avoid it is also known according to the Fig. 21 to use an additional tool in the form of a so-called groove groove 109, which is arranged in alignment with the crease line 105, and the immersion of at least the outer layer 2 in the groove groove 109 allows the formation of the groove 5. Critical here are in particular the positionally accurate alignment of the strip or linear groove groove 109 to the crease line 105, and the relatively high assembly and disassembly effort for the groove 109 when the tool 100 is to be converted for a different purpose.

From the US Pat. No. 3,735,674 a device for corrugated cardboard or cardboard with the features of the preamble of claim 1 is known. The known device is characterized by a shaped body which has on the corrugated cardboard or the cardboard side facing at least two mutually parallel shaped encoder. By this design of the molding is achieved in particular that when bending the corrugated cardboard or the cardboard tension in the outer layer of the corrugated cardboard or the carton is significantly reduced, so that the risk of tearing the outside of the corrugated board or the carton not more exists.

Offenbarung der ErfindungDisclosure of the invention

Based on the illustrated prior art, the invention has the object, a device for corrugated cardboard or cardboard according to the preamble of claim 1 such that a further improved performance achieved. This is made possible by the fact that the horizontal distance between the two formers is reduced when forming the grooves.

Specifically, it proposes the teaching of claim 1 that the molded body for this purpose is made of hard plastic, in particular polyamide, that the shaper are designed so that when forming the grooves their distance in the horizontal direction decreases, that on the opposite Side of the formers of the shaped body surface portions are arranged for fixing the corrugated cardboard or the carton, which are inclined relative to the horizontal by an angle, wherein either a support member or the molded body in a region between the formers or in the zone between the support member and the former a Form free space, so that in an elastic deformation of the former whose top partially enters the free space, or wherein the shaped body has a central part, which merges at its opposite sides into edge regions that the middle part has a rounded survey that in the region of the central part s between the formers of the shaped body has an approximately constant thickness, and that between the elevation and the upper tool part a free space is formed, in which the middle part can deform elastically during the formation of the grooves, or wherein the shaped body has planar lower surfaces, to which connect the surface sections, and that the shaped body on the side facing away from the tool upper part has a bulge between the two formers for receiving the corrugated cardboard or the cardboard.

Advantageous developments of the device according to the invention for corrugating corrugated board or cardboard are given in the dependent claims. In the Within the scope of the invention, all combinations of at least two of the features disclosed in the claims, the description and / or the figures fall.

Particularly preferred is a design of the formers, in which they are equipped on the corrugated board or the cardboard side facing with a rounding. As a result, damage to the inside of the corrugated cardboard or the carton is safely avoided.

Alternatively, it may be provided in a constructive embodiment of the shaped body, that the shaped body is formed as a one-piece component and has fastening portions which engage in receptacles of the tool upper part and are held there in particular by clamping. In this case, the recordings are taken to mean, in particular, those recordings which, for example, can also be used to attach the mentioned score line. Furthermore, a relatively simple mounting of the molding without additional fasteners is made possible by the terminal closure.

Often, different creases are desired by a user. In order not to have to use a completely independent tool for this purpose, it is provided in a further embodiment of the invention that the shaped body is designed as a format part and arranged in a carrier element, and that the carrier element has fastening portions which engage in receptacles of the tool shell and held there in particular by clamping. The idea is thus always to use a carrier element which is the same for us, and to equip it with different shaped bodies for different creases.

Gleiche Bauteile bzw. The same components or components with the same function are provided in the figures with the same reference numerals.

In the Fig. 1 and 2 is a not included in the invention means 10, 10a for corrugating corrugated cardboard 1 (or a carton, not shown) shown. The device 10 is preferably used in a punching device having a tool 100, comprising at least one tool upper part 101, in particular made of hard wood, and a lower tool part 102. The upper tool part 101 and the lower tool part 102 are arranged in the direction of the double arrow 107 by means of a drive not shown to each other movable. In the tool upper part 101, a receptacle in the form of a longitudinal slot 11 is formed, which has been produced in a known manner by a laser beam processing device. Between the tool upper part 101 and the lower tool part 102, the device 10 is arranged.

The device 10 comprises a strip-shaped or elongated shaped body 12, which has an approximately rectangular central part 13 in cross-section. From the central part 13 extends on the upper side of the tool 101 facing side corresponding to the arrangement of the longitudinal slot 11, a strip-shaped web 14 which is integrally formed on the molded body 12, and connects the molded body 12 by clamping with the upper tool 101. The molded body 12 is particularly preferably formed as an injection molded part.

Optionally, it may be provided that between the except in the region of the web 14 flat top of the molded body 12 and the upper tool part 101, a damping element 15, for. B. in the form of a coating or a separate, connected to the molded body 12 component, for. B. in the form of a rubber layer is arranged. The molded body 12, which is integrally formed as already mentioned, preferably consists of a hard plastic, such as polyamide (PA) or the like.

On the web 14 opposite bottom of the central portion 13 extend perpendicular to the plane of the Fig. 1 and 2 two line-like form sensor 16, 17, which are preferably arranged symmetrically to the longitudinal axis 18 of the shaped body 12. On the flat tool lower part 102 side facing the form sensor 16, 17 are each formed with a rounding 19. As an alternative to a rounding 19, however, the shapers 16, 17 may also be flat. Between the two formers 16, 17, a bulge 20 is arranged in the direction of the web 14, in which in the Fig. 1 and 2 illustrated embodiment has a radius r. On the opposite side of the bulge 20 of each former 16, 17 this goes over in an area arranged at an angle α relative to the horizontal, formed as an inclined surface 21 area. The shapers 16, 17 thus protrude on the the corrugated cardboard 1 facing side as a strip-shaped elevations 22 from the bottom of the molding 12 out.

Die Wellpappe 1 liegt dabei an den als formgebenden Elementen für die Wellpappe 1 wirkenden Flächen 21 kraftschlüssig an.To form the grooves 24, 25 in the corrugated cardboard 1 by means of the shaped body 12, the upper tool part 101 and the lower tool part 102 in the in the Fig. 1 shown position against each other, so that the former 16, 17 of the molding 12 when immersed in the corrugated cardboard 1, the grooves 24, 25 form. How to use the Fig. 1 recognizes the bulge 20 between the formers 16, 17 while a receptacle for the arranged between the formers 16, 17 regions of the corrugated cardboard 1 from. In this case, the material of the corrugated cardboard 1 is positively frictionally against the bulge 20 and thereby receives a curved shape, which leads to the formation of an optimal predetermined bending point or Sollknickline. As a result, when kinking the corrugated cardboard 1, the kinking resistance is greatly reduced, since the area of the corrugated cardboard 1 displaced into the bulge 20 has gone up and the resistance during kinking is thus reduced so much that bursting of the corrugated cardboard 1 on its outer layer 2 is prevented becomes. Furthermore, it can be seen that the regions of the corrugated cardboard 1, which are located on the side facing away from the bulge 20 of the former 16, 17, abut against the surfaces 21. The corrugated cardboard 1 is frictionally applied to the surfaces 21 acting as shaping elements for the corrugated cardboard 1.

In a corrugated cardboard 1 processed by means 10, 10a, the corrugations 24, 25 are arranged at a relatively great distance from one another in accordance with the spacing of the former 16, 17 whose shape and spacing are adapted to the respective corrugated cardboard 1 (or carton) , Thus it is according to the Fig. 7 possible, when folding or folding over the corrugated cardboard 1 in the region of the grooves 24, 25, the two sections 27, 28 of the corrugated board 1 over the entire surface against each other, due to the two relatively widely spaced grooves 24, 25 and the above-described relationships in the field the outer layer 2 of the corrugated board 1, the stresses in the corrugated cardboard 1 are so low that the outer layer 2, even with a printed outer layer 2, does not tend to crack.

The in the Fig. 2 illustrated device 10a differs from the device 10 according to the Fig. 1 by a shaped body 12a, which has at least one receptacle 29 for fastening the shaped body 12a to the tool upper part 101 on the upper side facing the tool upper part 101. The receptacle 29 is formed as a longitudinal slot 30, so that the molded body 12a can be attached to a tool already located in the upper tool 101, for example in the form of a crease line 31, where it is held by clamping.

In the Fig. 3 to 5 a first embodiment of the invention is shown with a device 10b. The device 10b comprises a perpendicular to the plane of the 3 and 4 arranged, elongated support member 35 which by means of pin-shaped extensions 36 in as through holes (with, for example, an inner diameter between 6mm and 8mm) formed receptacles 104 of the upper tool part 101 can be used. The cross sections of the extensions 36, which are preferably arranged at equal distances from one another in the longitudinal direction of the carrier element 35, can be reduced in the longitudinal direction in order to compensate for tolerances between the receptacles 104 and the extensions 36.

On the opposite side of the projections 36 of the support member 35, this has an elongated receptacle 37 for the form-fitting or clamp-locking receiving a shaped body 12b. The molded body 12b is formed with respect to the functionality of its former 16, 17 and the bulge 20 in analogy to the devices 10a and 10b. In the exemplary embodiment, the shaped body 12b has a planar upper side 38, so that a free space 40 is formed between a region of the receptacle 37 provided with a recess 39 and the upper side 38 of the shaped body 12b. Due to the free space 40, during the formation of the grooves 24, 25, the molded body 12b can deform elastically in such a way that the in the Fig. 3 shown planar top 38 of the molded body 12 b deformed and partially enters the space 40, wherein the distance between the formers 16, 17 is reduced.

As a result of the design of the device 10b, the molded body 12b, which typically has a certain material wear during the operation of the device 10b, can easily be exchanged on the carrier element 35, wherein the carrier element 35 can remain on the tool top 101.

In the Fig. 6 is a further embodiment of the invention with a molded body 12c shown as part of a device 10c. The integrally formed molded body 12c has strip-shaped edge regions 42, 43 which protrude into corresponding receptacles 44, 45 (holes) of the upper tool part 101 and thus connect the molded body 12c to the upper tool part 101. The receptacles 44, 45 are arranged, for example, on both sides of the receptacles 104 (longitudinal slot) formed in the tool part 101 for receiving a tool (not shown). The molded body 12c has a central part 46, which merges at its opposite sides into the edge regions 42, 43. On the side facing the tool upper part 101, the middle part 46 has a rounded elevation 47, which approximately accommodates the course of the bulge 20, so that in the region of the middle part 46 between the shapers 16, 17 an approximately constant thickness d of the shaped body 12c is available. Between the survey 47 and the upper tool 101 a space 48 is formed. When forming the grooves 24, 25, the middle part 46 can deform elastically in the direction of the free space 48, wherein the two former 16, 17 in analogy to the embodiment according to the Fig. 3 can move towards each other, ie that reduces their distance to each other during the creasing process.

In the FIGS. 8 and 9 is a device 10d not included in the invention, the molded body 12d, which is shown without the extensions 36 for the sake of simplicity, from the molded body 12 according to the Fig. 1 characterized essentially by a bulge 50 with a reduced radius relative to the bulge 20. Also, the horizontal distance of the former 16d, 17d and their height may be different from the formers 16, 17 of the molded body 12.

The moldings 12e and 12f of the devices 10e and 10f according to FIGS 10 and 11 in which, for the sake of simplicity, a representation of the projections 36 has been dispensed with, there are in each case former 16e, 17e and 16f, 17f, which are provided with a relatively small radius, and at the mutually facing longitudinal sides of planar lower surfaces 51e, 52e and 52f, 52f. Preferably, the lower surfaces 51e, 52e and 52f, 52f are each inclined at an angle β of a few degrees, for example between 2 ° and 10 ° to the horizontal, but they may also be flat, that is, at an angle β of zero degrees be. In connection with the likewise inclined surfaces 21e, 21f and the bulges 20e, 20f, the behavior of the formers 16e, 17e and 16f, 17f results in the formation of the grooves 24, 25, in which they move slightly towards one another in the horizontal direction reduce their distance from each other, which in particular stresses in the corrugated board 1 are reduced. The exact geometrical design of the shaped bodies 12e and 12f is, in analogy to all previously described shaped bodies 12, 12a to 12d, dependent, in particular, on the thickness of the corrugated cardboard 1 and, if appropriate, its number of layers.

The moldings 12g and 12h of the devices 10g and 10h not covered by the invention according to FIGS FIGS. 12 and 13 , in which, for the sake of simplicity, a representation of the extensions 36 has been dispensed with, in each case have shaping elements 16g, 17g and 16h, 17h, as they correspond, for example, to FIG 10 and 11 are formed. In contrast, however, between the formers 16g, 17g and 16h, 17h in each case an additional former 53g, 53h provided in the illustrated embodiment, in particular with reference to Fig. 14 is visible, jagged runs. Of course, it is also within the scope of the invention, the additional shapers 53g, 53h wave-shaped or rectilinear form. It is also essential that the height of the former 53g, 53h is less than that of the former 16g, 17g and 16h, 17h, so that when forming the grooves 24, 25 first the former 16g, 17g and 16h, 17h in contact with the corrugated board 1 arrive. By the additional shapers 53 g, 53 h, in particular, the material of the corrugated cardboard. 1 between the formers 16g, 17g and 16h, 17h specifically influenced and homogenized, which improves the quality of the grooves 24, 25 and reduces stresses in the material of the corrugated cardboard 1.

In the Fig. 15 is a device 10i not included in the invention with a molded body 12i shown, which consists of two interconnected parts 55 and 56. While one part 55 carries the fastening pins 14, the shaping elements 16i, 17i are arranged or formed on the other part 56. In this case, the shapers 16i, 17i can basically be designed in accordance with the embodiments described so far. It is essential that the part 55 consists of a material that is softer than the part 56. The thickness of the two parts 55, 56 may, depending on the specific application and hardness of the parts 55, 56 be about the same size or different. The particular advantage of the molded body 12i is that all tolerances can be equalized by the softer part 55. This has the effect that, when the upper part of the tool 101 or the molded part 12i is lowered, an optimal adhesion to the corrugated cardboard 1 is always produced, which produces grooves 24, 25 of optimum quality.

The molded body 12i may be formed either as an injection-molded part, in which one part 55 is molded onto the other part 56, or as an extruded or coextruded part.

In the Fig. 16 a device 10j is shown as it can be used in a punching tool 110. It can be seen in particular two punching blades 111, 112 for the corrugated cardboard 1, between which the device 10j is arranged with the molded body 12j. The molded body 12j differs from the molded body 12i substantially by a longitudinal slot 57 and an oval-shaped longitudinal channel 58th

In the 17 to 19 are shown different attachment options of devices 10k to 10m or moldings 12k to 12m, wherein the moldings 12k to 12m are basically of any shape, as far as the Form or training has been described in the context of the invention. In addition to the fastening pins 14 in the molded body 12l, it is also possible to use a longitudinal web 59 for connecting the molded body 12k to the tool head 101, which engages in a corresponding longitudinal slot. In the case of the shaped body 12m, on the other hand, it is provided to connect it with its upper side to the tool 100 or to a correspondingly designed carrier element (not shown), which in turn is fastened in holes or a slot on the upper part of the tool.

The inventive devices 10b, 10c, 10e and 10f described so far can be modified or modified in many ways, without deviating from the inventive idea. So it is also conceivable, more than two or three former 16, 17, z. B. four, five or even more number of formers to provide (multi-irrigator), which are arranged for example on a curved or rounded surface. In this case, the course of the curved surface or the formation of the grooves depends in particular on the thickness of the material provided with the grooves 24, 25.
