Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und eine Einrichtung zum Sortieren von Gegenständen, insbesondere Postsendungen. Mindestens einer Sortierendstelle ist eine Gruppe von Zustellpunkten zugeordnet. Die Zustellpunkt-Gruppe besteht aus mehreren Zustellpunkten, die in der Zustellreihenfolge unmittelbar aufeinander folgen. Jeder Gegenstand durchläuft mindestens zweimal die Sortiereinrichtung. In jedem Durchlauf wird die auf dem Gegenstand angebrachte Zustelladresse ermittelt, und der Gegenstand wird abhängig vom ermittelten Zustellpunkt in eine der Ausgabeeinrichtungen ausgeschleust. Nach jedem außer dem letzten Durchlauf werden die Ausgabeeinrichtungen nacheinander entleert, und die Gegenstände werden wieder der Sortiereinrichtung zugeführt. Im letzten Durchlauf wird jeder Gegenstand abhängig vom ermittelten Zustellpunkt in eine der Sortierendstellen ausgeschleust. Alle Gegenstände, die mit einem Zustellpunkt der Zustellpunkt-Gruppe codiert sind, werden im letzten Durchlauf alle in die Sortierendstelle der Gruppe ausgeschleust.

The invention relates to a method and a device for sorting objects, in particular postal items. At least one sorting end point is assigned to a group of delivery points. The delivery point group consists of several delivery points that follow each other in the delivery order. Each item passes through the sorter at least twice. In each pass, the delivery address applied to the article is determined, and the article is ejected into one of the output devices depending on the determined delivery point. After each but the last pass, the dispensers are deflated one at a time and the articles returned to the sorter. In the last run, each item is dispatched to one of the sorting endpoints depending on the determined delivery point. All items coded with a delivery point group delivery point are all dumped to the sorting end of the group in the last pass.
