Description
The invention relates to a method for operating a water-conducting household appliance, in particular a dishwasher, which has a circulation pump and one of the circulating pump associated, in particular the circulation downstream water diverter with at least one adjustable by an actuator motor actuator for changing direction of a liquid flow through the water diverter, wherein the water-bearing household appliance is filled with a circulating with the circulation pump Mindestfüllwassermenge and is checked in a first step, if a malfunction of the water gate is present, and checked in a second step by a concentricity test, if the size of the Mindestfüllwassermenge in water-bearing household appliance at least the size of a Sollfüllwassermenge to ensure the concentricity of the circulating pump, wherein for concentricity testing at least one operating parameter of the circulating pump driving Electric motor is evaluated on a concentricity of the circulation pump out.
According to the invention, it is provided that a concentricity test or a refilling step for increasing the minimum filling water quantity is carried out if there is no malfunction of the water distributor and the concentricity test or the refilling step is faded out if a malfunction of the water distributor is detected. If a malfunction of the water switch is present, this can have the consequence, for example, that the concentricity test can lead to the result that, for example, there is dry running of the circulating pump, whereupon a refilling process can be carried out to increase the volume of liquid circulated, with the result that the water-conducting domestic appliance is overfilled and water comes out of the water-bearing household appliance. Only when it has been determined that the water diverter works as intended is a concentricity test to be carried out with the aim of determining whether at least the nominal filling water quantity in the water-bearing domestic appliance can be recirculated. In this case, for carrying out the concentricity test as an operating parameter, for example, the current consumption of the motor driving the circulation pump can be monitored for fluctuations caused by the air intake of the circulation pump when the level is too low. However, if the verification of the function of the water separator shows that it does not function as intended, there will be no concentricity test. Furthermore, a refilling step can be hidden, with which the filling water amount can be increased with functional water switch, so that overfilling with a water outlet from the water-bearing Household appliance is prevented. In this case, the filling of the household appliance with a Mindestfüllwassermenge before, after or during the first step to check the function of the water diverter, or before the second step, in which a concentricity test is performed.
It is preferably provided that for checking whether a malfunction is present, control signals for driving the actuator motor and sensor signals from at least one sensor for position detection of the control element of the water gate are evaluated. With the sensor for position detection, it is possible to bring the control element of the water switch at the beginning of a wash program or during individual steps by activating the actuator motor in a defined position, as the actuator, e.g. due to a power failure in an undefined position. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a functioning water distributor if a sensor signal is detected within a certain period of time on the actuation of the actuator motor.
On the other hand, it is preferable to conclude that the waterway is malfunctioning if the sensor signals deviate from the control signals correspond to a stationary control element or to an actuating element that is in continuous uninterrupted motion or if the sensor signals deviate from an expected sensor signal sequence or sensor signal sequence. Thus, for example, a defect of the actuator motor can be detected, which has the consequence that the actuator is stationary. An uninterrupted continuous movement of the actuating element, however, can e.g. Result of a defective sensor so that no defined stop position is detected for the actuator. Finally, deviations from an expected sensor waveform or sequence may be due to defective signal lines of the sensor or to a malfunction of the sensor itself.
In a preferred embodiment, it is provided that the actuating element motor is stopped upon detecting a continuous movement of the actuating element of the water switch. By switching off or switching off the water switch ensures that the liquid can still be circulated, albeit only in a certain by the now stationary actuator distribution. Thus, for example, a washing program can be continued.
In a further, preferred development, it is provided that, when the concentricity test is hidden, the minimum amount of filling water is maintained. Since, with hidden concentricity check, no statement, e.g. can be made on the dry running of the circulating pump, the Mindestfüllwassermenge is preferably maintained when the current operating program of the household appliance has reached a point at which it can be assumed that already sufficient liquid has been supplied.
Furthermore, it is preferably provided that, with the concentricity test hidden, a minimum nominal filling water quantity or a maximum nominal filling water quantity is set. It is particularly preferred to set a minimum nominal filling water volume when the concentricity test is blanked out. The Mindestestsollfüllwassermenge results advantageously from known values that ensure a wet run of the circulation pump or prevent dry running at normal load or at a normal / average Spülgutmenge. As an alternative to the minimum refill water quantity, a maximum refill water quantity is set when the concentricity test is hidden. The Maximum Sollfüllwassermenge ensures on the one hand the wet running of the circulation pump and on the other hand a sufficient amount of filling water for cleaning all items to be washed, especially at a maximum load on the appliance. For example, it may be determined depending on the rinse program selected by the user whether the minimum target water amount or the maximum target water amount is set.
Finally, it is preferably provided that the movement of the adjusting element of the water distributor is monitored without contact. For example, the movement can be detected by means of optical sensors or electromagnetic sensors. It is also conceivable to determine the current consumption of the actuating element displacing / moving actuator. Of course, however, a touching detection of the movement of the actuating element is conceivable. The non-contact detection has the advantage that no friction affecting the performance of the actuator occurs.
Furthermore, the invention relates to a water-conducting household appliance, in particular a dishwasher, with a circulation pump and one of the circulating pump associated, in particular downstream, water separator with at least one by an actuator motor adjustable actuator for changing direction of a liquid flow through the water gate, which can be filled with a circulating with the circulation pump Mindestfüllwassermenge, said means being provided for checking a malfunction of the water gate and to perform a concentricity test, wherein in the concentricity test, the means check whether the size of the Mindestfüllwassermenge in the water-conducting household appliance at least equal to the size of a Sollfüllwassermenge to ensure the concentricity of the circulation pump and the means in the concentricity test evaluate at least one operating parameter of the circulating pump driving electric motor to a concentricity of the circulating pump out. According to the invention, a concentricity test or a refilling step for increasing the minimum filling quantity can be carried out if there is no malfunction of the water distributor and the concentricity test or the refilling step is hidden if the device detects a malfunction of the water distributor.

The
The
Finally, the domestic appliance 1 comprises means for performing a concentricity test with the
However, if it is determined in
Finally, it can also be provided, in the case of a malfunction of the
The method for operating the household appliance 1 thus ensures the operational safety of the household appliance 1 in a simple manner.
