Description

The invention relates to a heald with a shaft rod, which is constructed of a fiber-reinforced plastic material. In particular, the invention relates to the connection between the side supports of the heald and the shaft rods.

Heald frames are generally rectangular frame-shaped structures with long horizontally disposed shaft rods and vertical side supports which interconnect the shaft rods at their respective ends. The shaft rods carry Litzentragschienen for holding healds. The basic structure of such a weaving can, for example. The DE 101 16 813 B4 or even the EP 0 531 886 A1 , of the EP 0 659 178 B2 or the EP 1 985 733 A1 be removed. To apply the strands on the Litzentragschienen the heald must be disassembled. For this purpose, the side supports are connected by suitable corner connectors with the shaft rods. The corner connectors are usually designed as clamping and or clamping devices. These are used to initiate the longitudinal forces of the side supports in the shaft rods so that they take no damage.

The EP 0 513 281 B1 proposes to attach to the end of the shaft rod two metal plates, between which blocks are firmly attached. The sheet metal plates and the blocks define a cavity into which a projection of the side support fits. One of the blocks is with a threaded hole provided, in which a clamping screw can be screwed. This presses the projection of the side support against the opposite block and thus clamps the corner connector firmly.

The DE 198 16 950 A1 discloses a heald frame referred to as a shaft frame, whose shaft bars are made of aluminum profile or composite material. At its end a cross-sectionally U-shaped sleeve member is mounted, the legs of which overlap the flat sides of the shaft rod. The sleeve member receives mounting screws for connecting an extension of the side support.

The DE 101 16 813 B4 discloses a heddle with a corner joint that utilizes the elasticity of the heddle. This has a longitudinal slot which extends from a trained in the end of the heald bag over a certain distance along the shaft rod. The shaft rod also contains two clamping blocks, referred to as guide elements, which are inserted into a cavity of the shaft rod and fixedly connected to the side walls. A clamping screw can pull the two clamping blocks against each other. They clamp between each other an extension of the side support. The longitudinal slot provided in the shaft rod allows very little movement of the clamping blocks to clamp or release the extension of the side support.

Following a similar principle, the corner joint works according to CH 427688 A , Again, a mounted at the end of the shaft rod longitudinal slot is used to allow a clamping movement of the above or below the slot leg of the shaft rod.

WO 2004/027134 A2 discloses a heald according to the preamble of claim 1.

The above principles encounter difficulties when used on plastic shaft rods, in particular fiber-reinforced rods.

It is an object of the invention to provide a corner connector for lightweight construction bars.

This object is achieved with the weaving shaft according to claim 1:
  • The heddle according to the invention has a lightweight push rod made of a fiber-reinforced plastic material, for example with carbon fibers. It may be a solid profile or a hollow profile. The reinforcing fibers may be long fibers or short fibers. They may be arranged in order or disordered in the plastic. They can be arranged as fabrics, knits, rovings, monofilaments, ropes or the like. For example, they may extend predominantly in the longitudinal direction of the shaft and / or in other directions. It may be organic or inorganic fibers, carbon fibers or the like. The fibers are embedded in a matrix, preferably a plastic matrix or metal matrix, for example in a magnesium-aluminum-metal matrix.

On the shaft rod a socket is attached, which has two flat body. These are glued to sections, preferably end portions of the two side surfaces or connected in a planar manner in other suitable manner. The flat bodies may be, for example, sheet metal plates, plastic plates or the like. They can have a uniform thickness or varying thicknesses. For example, the flat bodies may taper away from the end of the shaft rod towards the center. This can contribute to the forces acting on the corner connector over a large area and without local To transfer jumps on the shaft rod. An alternative embodiment comes with only a flat body. For this purpose, the flat body is glued on both sides in a plane-parallel to the flat sides of the shaft rod slot in the shaft rod.

Between the two flat bodies, a first rigid stop element and a second, on the first stop element towards further tensionable stop element are arranged. A tensioning means can tension the second stop element against the first stop element. Between the two stop elements, a pocket is formed by a corresponding recess of the shaft rod. In this pocket, an extension extending from the side support extending between the two stop elements can be tightened to form a firm connection between the shaft post and the side support. Because the first stop is rigid and the second stop resiliently mounted or resiliently, pivotally or otherwise mounted at least slightly movable, on the one hand a secure clamping of the extension of the side support and thus secure attachment as on the other hand given a rigid coupling between side support and shaft rod when the connection is tightened. The first stop element and the second stop element are preferably arranged independently of one another on the flat bodies. Alternatively, the first stopper member and the second stopper member may be a functional portion of a one-piece insert disposed between the flat bodies.

Further, it is possible to dispense entirely with the second stop element. The extension of the side support may be provided with a threaded bore into which a bolt engages extending through the first stop member. The first stop element preferably lies on the side of the extension pointing away from the side support.

The invention combines several advantages. It offers a concept for the safe connection of side supports to shaft rods made of lightweight construction materials, which can be quite sensitive to the local application of force. Such lightweight construction bars may, for example, be formed from fiber-reinforced plastics as a solid body or as a hollow body. They may also be formed of light metal, in particular aluminum and / or magnesium alloys, e.g. in the form of correspondingly thin sheets, between which foam body, honeycomb body or the like can be kept for reinforcement. It may also be shaft rods made of light metal as a solid body or as a hollow body. The corner connector according to the invention can be applied to shaft rods of all the above and similar types.

Due to the different design and / or arrangement of the two stop elements a division of responsibilities is achieved. One of the stop elements serves to produce a rigid force transmission path between the side supports and the flat parts while the other stop element serves as a tensioning means.

The heald has at least partially planar side surfaces. Preferably, the flat bodies are arranged on flat parts of the side surfaces. However, if the shaft rod has at least one non-planar side surface, it is also possible to adapt the flat body to the corresponding non-planar side surface by providing it with a corresponding complementary shape.

Preferably, the two side surfaces of the shaft rod are oriented parallel to each other. The shaft rod has preferably a rectangular cross-section. Other cross sections are possible.

The flat bodies can be as mentioned metal plates. In particular, they may be steel plates, aluminum plates, sheet metal elements or the like. They preferably extend from one narrow side of the shaft rod to its other. So a large force application is achieved. The metal plates or sheets can be integrally connected to the shaft rod, preferably glued. Preferably, the flat bodies are provided on the adhesive side facing the shaft rod with at least one preferably a plurality of projections, for example strips, knobs or the like, the height of which determines the thickness of an adhesive joint to be formed. These surveys serve as spacer means for quality assurance in the production of the adhesive bond.

The flat body may, if necessary, extend slightly over the narrow sides of the shaft rod. However, this is not necessary. Preferably, they release at least one narrow side of the shaft rod.

Both stop elements preferably have different lengths. In particular, the rigidly arranged stop element preferably projects farther out of the end face of the shaft rod than the other stop element serving for clamping. Preferably, however, both stop elements project beyond the flat body. With this concept, the rigid stop element can be used in particular for the transmission of thrust forces which are to be transmitted from the side support to the shaft rod. Preferably, the longer rigid stop member engages over at least a portion of the cross section of the side support.

The first stop element is preferably rigidly connected to the flat bodies, for example by gluing or welding. It can be provided for this purpose individual welds or welds, for example. Laser welds. Also, between the flat body and the stop element, a mechanical connection can be provided by one or more rivets, one or more screws or other form-locking fastening means.

The second stop element is slightly movable on at least one end. This mobility can be achieved by the stop element is movably connected to the flat body. These screws, rivets or the like can be used. It is also possible to weld an inner end of the stop element with one or both flat bodies. This can be done with one or more welds or welds. The extending away from the weld part of the stop element has inherently a certain resilience, which can be used to achieve the desired low mobility. In addition, the stopper element may have a recess at one or more locations in order to be able to spring better.

The heald may be reduced to a shaft bar and one or two side supports. Such designs are e.g. applicable to heald frames, which have a fixed part of the loom associated lower part and removable from the loom upper part. Also for such reduced heddle shafts apply all variants described above. Preferably, however, the heald is a complete rectangular frame with two shaft rods and two side supports.

In Fig. 1 a heald 10 is illustrated, which belongs to a weaving machine not further illustrated. It forms a rectangular frame in which individual healds 11 are arranged. These are used to guide not further illustrated warp threads during the weaving process. The healds 11 are arranged on Litzentragschienen 12, 13, which are arranged horizontally at a vertical distance. The upper Litzentragschiene 12 is held on an upper shaft rod 14. The lower Litzentragschiene 13 is held on a lower shaft rod 15. The upper and lower shaft rods 14, 15 are each made of a suitable lightweight material, such as fiber-reinforced plastic, thin honeycomb-reinforced sheet, a thin-walled aluminum extrusion profile or the like. Side supports 16, 17 are connected to the ends of the shaft rods 14, 15 and form with these a rectangular frame. This performs during the operation of the weaving a rising and falling movement. To drive the weaving shank 10 serve at least two terminals 18, 19, to which a corresponding drive linkage is connected, these ports 18, 19, as shown, may be located on the shaft rod or on the side supports.

To connect the side supports 16, 17 with the shaft rods 14, 15 corner connectors are provided, of which in Fig. 1 the upper left is highlighted by a dashed circle. The following explanation of the highlighted here corner joint 20 applies mutatis mutandis to the three remaining other corner joints as well as corner joints of heddles, for example, have only one shaft rod and one or two side supports.

Fig. 2 illustrates the corner joint 20 between the shaft bar 14 and the side support 16 by way of example. The shaft rod 14 here consists for example of a fiber-reinforced Plastic material in solid profile design with a slim, rectangular cross-section. Accordingly, it has an upper narrow side 21, a lower narrow side 22 and two preferably, but not necessarily, flat flat sides 23, 24 (FIG. Fig. 5 ). While the narrow sides 21, 22 are horizontal in use, the flat sides 23, 24 are vertically disposed in use. The cross section of the shaft rod 14 may be homogeneous. However, it can also be provided adjacent to the upper and / or the lower narrow side 21 or 22 with a reinforcing profile, for example a metal hollow profile, a plastic bar profile or other.

Fig. 5 deutet die entsprechenden Klebefugen 28, 29 an. To the corner joint 20 includes a socket 25 which is fixedly connected to the shaft rod 14. In the present embodiment, the frame 25 includes a rear flat body 26 and a front flat body 27, which are each firmly connected to the flat sides 23, 24. The flat body 26, 27 may be formed in the simplest case by metal plates or other plate-shaped, for example made of plastic elements. However, the flat bodies 26, 27 are preferably made of a different material or a different material composition than the shaft rod 14. For example, the flat bodies 26, 27 may be made of aluminum or steel. The flat bodies 26, 27 are glued to the surface connection with the shaft rod 14. Fig. 5 indicates the corresponding adhesive joints 28, 29. These preferably extend over the flat body 26, 27 in each case over the entire surface. The flat bodies 26, 27 may have small projections (not illustrated), eg knobs, which rest against the flat side 23, 24 and define a gluing gap with a defined thickness.

To the version 25 belong, as in particular Fig. 4 also shows a first stop member 30 and a second Stop element 31. The two stop elements 30, 31 are connected to the flat bodies 26, 27, for example, welded or glued. The stop element 30 is, for example, an elongated metal rod with a rectangular cross-section. However, it can also find a metal hollow profile, a U-profile or the like application. In Fig. 4 a connection zone 32 is marked with cross-hatching. In this connection zone, the stop element 30 is connected to the flat body 27 and to the concealed corresponding side with the flat body 26. For example, welding seams may be provided for the connection, for example laser welding seams. Other welding methods, such as spot welding, resistance welding, friction welding, electron beam welding and soldering methods, eg brazing methods, are also possible and applicable. The stop element 30 is rigid and projects beyond the end edge 33 of the flat body 26 or 27 also. The stopper member 30 is on, as Fig. 2 shows, from the side support 16 remote side of the socket 25 is arranged. It overlaps the inner edge of the side support 16 and thus can at least partially project beyond the cross section thereof. In this way, thrust forces of the side support are reduced by being picked up by the abutment member 30 and transmitted to the socket 25.

The second stop element 31 is preferably shorter. It protrudes less far beyond the edge 33. In addition, it is at least slightly movable on the stop member 30 and away from it. It can be like this Fig. 4 illustrated only in a small zone 34 rigidly connected to the flat bodies 26, 27 be. Again, in this zone 34, any suitable connection means, such as welds, welds, solder pads, pads or the like, may be provided. The first stop element 30 and the second stop element 31 can also functional sections be an otherwise integrally formed use.

The two stop elements 30, 31 is associated with a clamping means 35 which is adapted to bias the stop member 31 in the direction of the stop member 30. The clamping means 35 may be, for example, a clamping bolt 36. This can pass through a provided in the upper stop member 30 vertical hole 37 and be screwed into an aligned threaded bore 38 of the second stop member 31.

The shaft rod 14 is provided in the region of the stop elements 30, 31 with recesses 39, 40 and in between with a further recess to form a pocket 41. This serves to accommodate one Fig. 3 visible extension 42 of the side support 16. The extension 42 has a height corresponding to the distance between the stop pieces 30, 31. It has a thickness which corresponds approximately to the distance between the flat parts 26, 27. The extension 42 is preferably slightly rounded or bevelled at its free end. It preferably has a rectangular cross-section. The side support 16 is provided in the vicinity of the extension 42 on both sides with a step 43, 44 or shoulder, which serves as a stop or contact surface for the edge 33. The edge 33 can, like it Fig. 2 indicates something about the front end of the shaft rod 14 protrude. In the vicinity of the step 43, 44, a through hole 45 is provided in the side support 16, through which the clamping bolt 36 can find. Alternatively, an additional stop element for the extension 42 of the side support 16 can be introduced into the pocket 41, which, like the stop elements 30, 31, is held by the flat bodies 26, 27.

In addition, it should be noted that 16 further structures may be provided on the side support, for example, an extension 46 for securing the axial position of one of the heddle rails or as a stop for sitting on the heald heald healds. In addition, the terminals 18, 19 may be directly or indirectly connected to the flat body 26, 27, for example, by welding seams or when the flat body correspondingly extend beyond the respective narrow side of the respective shaft rod 14 or 15, by riveting or the like. If the first stop element 30 is located flush with the outer edge of the shaft rod 14, the terminals 18, 19 can also be bolted directly to the first stop element 30 or otherwise connected.

The corner joint 20 described so far functions as follows:
  • To produce the corner joint, the side support 16 is inserted with its extension 42 into the pocket 41 until the steps 43, 44 rest against the respective edge 33. It is then the clamping bolt 36 is guided through the bores 37, 45 and screwed into the threaded bore 38. By tightening the clamping bolt 36, the stop member 31 is pressed firmly against the projection 42 and this in turn firmly against the stop member 30. The corner joint is now made reliable. The distance between the threaded bore 38 and the zone 34 ensures a certain low mobility of the stop member 31, the in Fig. 4 indicated by a double arrow. The mobility can be limited to a few tenths of a millimeter and is sufficient to allow one side easy insertion and removal of the extension 42 in and out of the pocket 41 and on the other hand to securely clamp the extension 42 can.

The mobility can be increased if the stop element 31 has a corresponding spring zone 48. This can be formed by a preferably adjacent to the zone 34 recess 49, wherein the cross section of the stop element 31 is weakened. The recess 49 can, as shown, be provided on the side remote from the pocket 41 or else on the side of the stop element 31 facing the pocket 41. Other measures to weaken the cross section of the material and thus to increase the elasticity, e.g. Drilling is also possible.

Fig. 6 veranschaulicht eine abgewandelte Ausführungsform der Fassung 25. Fig. 6 illustrates a modified embodiment of the socket 25. The connection between the stopper member 30 and the flat bodies 26, 27 may in turn be created by any material-fluid connection, such as welding, soldering, gluing or as indicated by screw or rivet. The connection between the stop element 31 and the flat bodies 26, 27 may be formed by a hinged joint 50. The hinge joint 50 may be formed, for example, by a bolt or pin extending between the flat bodies 26, 27, which engages through a bore of the stop element 31. This hole is transverse to the edge 33. The pin may be part of a screw or a rivet. Alternatively, the pin can sit in bores of the flat bodies 26, 27 and be pressed, welded, riveted or otherwise connected to them. Again, regardless of the elasticity of the stop element 31, a certain mobility is given to the stop element 30 or away from it. The function otherwise corresponds to that in connection with the embodiment according to FIG Fig. 4 described.

The weaving shank according to the invention has at least one shaft rod, preferably made of lightweight material 14 and at least one side support 16. These are connected to each other via a corner joint 20, which is based on a specially trained version 25. The socket 25 comprises at least one, preferably two flat body 26, 27. The at least one flat body 26 is connected to two stop elements 30, 31, one of which is stationary and the other at least slightly movably held or mounted. The two stop elements 30, 31 project beyond the frontal edge 33 of the flat body 26 to a different extent. Between two stop members 30, 31, a clamping means 35 is effective to serve the shorter stop member 31 to tension on the longer stop member 30 to clamp between the stop members 30, 31, an extension 42 of the side support 16. The flat body 26 transmits forces between the side support 16 and the shaft rod 14 over a large area on this.
