Claims (14)

  1. A ski binding comprising a receiving region (4; 104) for a ski boot (6) and a blocking device (14; 114; 214) which in a blocked position extends at least portion-wise in the receiving region (4; 104) and which in an unblocked position is arranged outside the receiving region (4; 104) whereby the receiving region (4; 104) becomes freely usable for the ski boot and thus the ski with the binding, wherein the blocking device (14; 114; 214) is coupled to the ski binding and is movable into the unblocked position by way of an authentication, with a locking means (16; 116; 216), by way of which the blocking device (14; 114; 214) is lockable in the blocked position, and with an electric energy storage means (130), and with an electric actuator (20; 120; 220), by way of which the locking means (16; 116; 216) is unlockable, and with an elastic element (22; 122), by way of which the blocking device (14; 114) is acted upon with a force in the direction of a blocked position.
  2. A ski binding according to claim 1 wherein the locking means (16; 116; 216) is unlockable by way of an RFID chip (18).
  3. A ski binding according to claim 2 wherein the RFID chip (18) can be fixed to or fitted into the ski boot (6).
  4. A ski binding according to one of the preceding claims wherein the blocking device (14; 114) is movable into the unblocked position by the ski boot (6).
  5. A ski binding according to one of the preceding claims wherein the blocking device (14) in the unblocked position is substantially received in a heel portion (2) of the ski binding.
  6. A ski binding according to one of claims 1 to 4 wherein the blocking device (114; 214) in the unblocked position is received substantially in a front portion (124) of the ski binding.
  7. A ski binding according to one of the preceding claims wherein the blocking device is a pin (14; 114) which is movable along its longitudinal axis between the blocked position and the unblocked position.
  8. A ski binding according to claim 7 wherein the locking means (116) has a longitudinal groove (136) formed in the pin (114) and a tilt lever (138) movable portion-wise into the longitudinal groove (136) by way of the actuator (120).
  9. A ski binding according to one of the preceding claims wherein the electric actuator is a solenoid (120).
  10. A ski binding according to one of claims 1 to 6 wherein the blocking device is a portion-wise circular-cylindrical body (214) having a lateral flat (215) and rotatable about a substantially perpendicular axis of rotation (217).
  11. A ski binding according to claim 10 wherein the locking means is a self-locking worm transmission (216) arranged at the outside periphery of the circular-cylindrical body (214) and wherein the electric actuator is an electric motor (220).
  12. A ski binding for a ski, which delimits a receiving region (104) for a ski boot, wherein mounted rotatably in a front portion (124) of the ski binding is a portion-wise circular-cylindrical body (214) which has a flat (215) and a circular-cylindrical peripheral portion (218), wherein the flat (215) is oriented with the receiving region (104) in an unblocked rotary position of the body (214) and wherein in a blocked rotary position of the body (214) the peripheral portion (218) extends at least portion-wise into the receiving region (104) and wherein the body (214) is coupled by way of a self-locking worm transmission (216) to an electric motor (220) and wherein the ski binding has an electronic control means, an electronic contact-less authentication unit and a battery, wherein the electric motor (220) is drivable in dependence on the authentication unit by way of the electronic control means.
  13. A method of enabling use of a ski binding and the ski (1) fixed thereto according to one of the preceding claims characterised by the steps:
    - approaching an RFID chip (18) to the ski binding;
    - unlocking the blocking device (14; 114; 214); and
    - moving the blocking device (14; 114; 214) into the unblocked position.
  14. A method of blocking a ski binding and the ski (1) fixed thereto according to one of claims 1 to 12 characterised by the steps:
    - removing the ski boot (6) from the receiving region (4; 104);
    - moving the blocking device (14; 114; 214) into the receiving region (4; 104);
    - removing an RFID chip (18) from the ski binding; and
    - locking the blocking device (14; 114; 214).
