Description

Domaine technique de l'inventionTechnical field of the invention

The invention relates to a heel type safety fastening for sports shoes, that is to say a device for securely holding the back of a shoe on a gliding board by exerting a pressure on the heel of the shoe while pressing forward the entire shoe against a device before abutment, while ensuring an automatic release of the heel of the shoe in case of falling before under the effect of the application by the heel on the heel of a triggering force greater than a predetermined threshold.

It also relates to a fixing device comprising a stop for receiving the front portion of a ski boot and such a heel, and a gliding board such as a ski on which is fixed such a heel.

État de la techniqueState of the art

The documents EP0893146 and EP1900400 describe by way of example a heel of the state of the art. Such a heel comprises a movable body comprising at its front end a bead (or jaw) to grip the heel of a shoe, which can occupy a closed position and an open position. This movable body further comprises a tongue in the lower part of its front end, on which can rest the heel of the shoe and which is used in particular when donning the binding since the shoe is pressed on the tongue to rotate the body mobile of a open position in which the skier can remove his shoe from the heel to the closed position of skiing practice. For this reason, this tongue is also often referred to as a pull tab. A ski heel incorporates a trigger mechanism in its rear portion, which automatically releases the rear of the shoe in case of significant effort, as is the case in a skier's fall forward, according to a standardized approach.

  • l'ensemble du corps mobile, et en particulier l'agrippe-talon, est inévitablement dans un même matériau, non optimisé pour chaque partie particulière de ce corps mobile. Par exemple, la languette se trouve dans ce matériau qui n'est pas adapté à l'usure importante qu'elle subit au cours du temps et dont le coefficient de frottement n'est pas idéal pour la fonction de déclenchement ;
  • la languette présente une dimension fixe, dont l'épaisseur, et voire la longueur, n'est pas adaptée à tous les types de chaussures existants, comme les chaussures de randonnées, les chaussures de ski alpin pour adultes ou pour juniors, etc. ;
These mobile bodies of the heels of the state of the art are made of rigid plastic material, to withstand the significant efforts they undergo during the practice of skiing. For this purpose, the movable bodies are manufactured by a plastic injection step which makes it possible to form a monolithic assembly comprising in particular the entire anterior part, including the bead-grip and the tongue, and possibly a whole rear part forming a receiving volume. trigger mechanism. These solutions have the advantage of easy and inexpensive manufacture. However, this approach has the following drawbacks:
  • the entire movable body, and in particular the bead-grip, is inevitably in the same material, not optimized for each particular part of this movable body. For example, the tongue is in this material which is not adapted to the significant wear that it undergoes over time and whose coefficient of friction is not ideal for the tripping function;
  • the tongue has a fixed dimension, the thickness, and even the length, is not suitable for all types of existing shoes, such as hiking shoes, alpine ski boots for adults or juniors, etc. ;
  • finally, the shape of the tongue must be compatible with the injection process, which represents a limitation for its manufacture.

It follows from the above points that the tongue is generally too short or not thick enough, and does not provide a sufficient support surface for a shoe, which makes it more difficult to wear the heel. In addition, it has a non-optimal surface for the triggering phases of the fixing device. Finally, it has a rapid wear which further degrades the above disadvantages.

FR81385E discloses a heel guard for securing a sports boot to a gliding board comprising a heel catch pivotally pivoting about a hinge pin and having a tongue extending forwardly in the lower front portion of the heel where all or part of the tongue is formed by a separate part of the heel grip.

Objet de l'inventionObject of the invention

The object of the present invention is to provide a heel which does not include all or part of the disadvantages of the solutions of the technique.

More specifically, the present invention seeks a heel solution that facilitates the entry and release of a shoe, while remaining economical.

For this purpose, the invention is based on a heel of safety fastening of a sports shoe on a gliding board, comprising a gripping-heel movable about an axis of articulation, and a tongue in its lower front part on which rests the rear part of the sole of a sports shoe at least during the heeling of the heel, all or part of the tongue being formed by a separate piece of the heel grip, assembled on the heel-gripper , characterized in that the tongue comprises a base and an upper layer superimposed on the base and belonging to a separate part of the base, and in that all or part of the separate part of the heel grip is in a material different from that of the movable body and / or the bead-grip and / or the base.

The invention is more particularly defined by the claims.

Le corps mobile 11 passe de la configuration fermée correspondant à la position fermée de la talonnière à la configuration ouverte correspondant à la position ouverte de la talonnière par un mouvement de pivotement par rapport au chariot, autour d'un axe d'articulation 14.The movable body 11, more particularly visible on the Figures 3 and 4 , encloses a triggering mechanism that allows the automatic passage of the heel of the closed ski practice position configuration, shown on the figure 4 , in its configuration in the open position, in particular represented on the Figures 1 to 3 , in which the ski boot can escape the grip of the heel, including the heel grip 10. This trigger is automatically set operates in the case of a triggering force transmitted by the heel of the shoe at the gripping heel 10 which is greater than a predetermined threshold, for example in the event of the skier's fall forward. The movable body 11 moves from the closed configuration corresponding to the closed position of the heel piece to the open configuration corresponding to the open position of the heel piece by a pivoting movement with respect to the carriage, about an articulation axis 14.

To implement the tripping function, the movable body 11 comprises various elements in its interior volume, among which a release spring 15 bears against the abutment 16 in the upper rear part of the body 11 and bears on a piston 17 to its other end. This piston 17 cooperates with a triggering surface 18 provided on the hinge axis, detailed below.

De plus, selon un mode de réalisation avantageux, ce fond est amovible à l'intérieur de l'agrippe talon 10.The triggering threshold can be modified in known manner by modifying the degree of compression of the spring 15 by a set screw 19 positioned at the rear end of the movable body 11 and able to move the stopper 16 internally along the movable body 11. The movable body 11 thus has the particularity of being closed in its lower part, preferably in a sealed manner. A separate part 3 of the movable body forming a bottom or cover is attached to the movable body 11 to close an opening for mounting the trigger mechanism inside the movable body 11. Optionally and advantageously, this bottom closes the body movably substantially sealed. In addition, according to an advantageous embodiment, this bottom is removable inside the heel gripper 10.

In this embodiment, the triggering surface 18 is formed by a projection 21 of the hinge axis, particularly visible on the Figures 3 and 4 . This projection is at least at the level of the part central of the hinge axis 14, is oriented towards the rear of the heel so as to cooperate with the piston of the trigger mechanism, generally on the opposite side to the gripping heel 10 relative to the axis of articulation 14. It forms a raised volume outside the cylinder in which the portion of the hinge pin disposed towards the front of the heel piece. The projection 21 is thus arranged in relief relative to the rest of the hinge axis 14. It may in particular extend over at least a portion of the length of the hinge axis 14 in the transverse direction. In the example shown, its section is constant along the hinge axis 14. It performs an additional function of reinforcing the hinge pin 14 in the manner of a stiffening rib in addition to its function main trigger. The rigidity provided by the projection 21 advantageously allows to provide relatively small dimensions of the section of the hinge axis 14 outside the projection area. On the other hand, it even allows to consider the use of a lightweight and economical material, such as a simple plastic for example, possibly reinforced with glass fibers or any equivalent. This solution also becomes less expensive than the solutions of the state of the art which require the use of a metal part.

In an advantageous embodiment in terms of weight and simplicity, and as illustrated by figure 5 for example, the hinge pin 14 may adopt a generally tubular shape, ie internally defining a bore allowing it to receive a reinforcing insert 25, solid or hollow, disposed inside the axis 14, so as to strengthen the heel.

The lateral arms 20 delimit a space between the transverse ends of the projection 21 and themselves so as to be able to receive the movable body 11. The movable body 11 is equipped in its anterior part of a generally closed casing except for two openings 26 formed transversely in lateral flanks of this casing in order to allow the shaft 14 to pass through it from one side to the other. Each of the spaces between an arm 20 and a projecting end 21 is intended to receive a lateral flank of the housing.

The mounting of such a heel comprises the following important steps: the hinge pin 14 is first inserted into the movable body 11 through the opening 26, then the movable body after its final assembly is integrated from above into force between the arms 20 which are slightly apart elastically during this operation, then the assembly obtained receives the insertion of two washers 28 for locking in rotation. These washers may have a solid surface, as represented for example on the figure 1 , or alternatively a partially hollow surface, as shown in FIG. figure 5 . As a remark, the hinge axis has a length slightly greater than the spacing at rest of the two arms 20. In addition, the openings 27 of the lateral arms 20 comprise a format independent of that of the hinge pin 14 which does not pass through during assembly of the heel, and may in particular have a smaller section than that of the hinge pin at the projection. On the contrary, the opening 26 of the movable body has a non-circular shape to receive the axis and its projection. In addition, this opening 26 is at least partially covered by the side arms 20 after mounting the heel.

In this solution, the tongue 30 is obtained by two separate parts 2, 22, a part 2 forming the upper layer of the tongue 30 belongs to a separate part 3 of the rest of the heel, and in particular the body 11 and the Heel grip 10. This separate part 3 is then assembled with the other components of the heel piece to reach its final position shown in the various figures.

As illustrated by Figures 1 to 6 the upper layer 2 of the tongue 30 is part of a separate part 3 of the movable body 11 and the heel catch 10 which forms the bottom of the heel catch 10. This separate part 3 comprises the upper layer 2 of the tongue, which extends forward in the direction of the axis of the body 11, and a substantially perpendicular wall 4 which rises to the level of the upper part of the heel grip 10, and occupies a width substantially equal to that of the tongue 30, also forming a boundary between the movable body and the outside, by fulfilling a function of closing and sealing of the movable body. In a variant, this substantially perpendicular wall 4 may cover a solid wall of the heel grip, and not form a sealed bottom. This separate piece 3 is fixed to the heel grip 10 by clipping with the aid of several fastening elements 5 distributed over its contour. In this embodiment, it is removably attached, and can be removed and changed in a user-friendly and manual manner, as illustrated by the figure 6 .

The figure 7 illustrates an alternative embodiment, wherein the separate piece 3 'assembled at the front end of the heel grip 10 of the heel is reduced to substantially the upper layer 2' of the tongue 30.

The Figures 8 and 9 illustrate another alternative embodiment, wherein the separate part 3 "comprises the upper layer 2" of the tongue and a substantially perpendicular wall 4 "which goes up to the level of the upper part of the heel grip 10 and occupies a maximum width I max in its upper part wider than the width L lan of the tongue On the other hand, as is more particularly visible on the section of the figure 9 , the front surface of the wall 4 "perpendicular to the separate piece 3" comes in the extension of the front surface of the heel catch 10, in particular at the level of the fins 13 of the heel catch, in the zone where the wall 4 "occupies its maximum width.This continuity of the surfaces, at their connecting line, is preferably arranged over the entire surface of the separate part 3 ", and advantageously at least over its entire surface of its wall 4" substantially perpendicular.This configuration, which forms a continuous frontal surface of the heel, has the advantage of facilitating the footwear and not to interfere with the triggers of the heel.

In the illustrated examples, the separate part 3, 3 ', 3 "is fixed on the bead clip, in the front part of the moving body.In these examples, this separate part is fixed on a monolithic assembly which extends from the back of the heel to the heel catch, and the tongue is finally formed by the joining of the upper layer 2, 2 ', 2 "which belongs to the separate piece 3, 3', 3 ", on which comes to rest the ski boot at least during donnage, and a flat portion forming a base 22 which extends forward and which belongs to the monolithic assembly of the heel piece mentioned above.

In all cases, this solution has for example the advantage of being able to choose an optimal material for the upper layer 2, 2 ', 2 "of the tongue, different from the materials used for the rest of the heel and in particular the body 11 and In the embodiment, this material is a material that has a good rigidity and resistance, to withstand the significant forces experienced by the tongue, in particular by the downward pressure of a shoe when a boot phase, and which has a low coefficient of friction to facilitate the release of a shoe, ensuring its non-adhesion on the upper layer 2, 2 'of the tongue and also on the vertical portion 4 in the first variant embodiment in a phase of triggering the attachment, for example the upper layer of the tongue may be polyoxymethylene (POM) or polyamide, and / or optionally in a teflon-loaded material.

On the other hand, the shape of the tongue can also be optimized, increasing its thickness and / or its length compared to existing solutions, in particular to facilitate the boot. Thus, the thickness e of the tongue may be greater than or equal to 5 mm, or even 7 mm. For example, the thickness of the upper layer 2, 2 'of the tongue may be between 2 and 6 mm. In addition, it is possible to increase its length compared to existing solutions.

In addition, in the embodiment where the tongue is removable, a user can have several different tongues, for the same heel, which allows him to modify his heel according to his wishes, according to its use, etc. For example, he can adapt his heel to different shoes slightly different, only through tabs of different shapes, without changing the heel setting on his ski. For example, it may have two tabs respectively dedicated to its alpine ski boots and ski touring, and / or dedicated to two alpine ski boots of the same size respectively adult and junior. In another example, the different tabs may simply allow to modify the aesthetic appearance of the heel, by presenting different shapes and / or colors, for example, which allows a user to customize his heel and to change as he wishes its aesthetic appearance.

The solution thus retained and described above is finally suitable for any shoe binding device heel. It may in particular also be implemented on a fixed-body heel which incorporates a trigger spring, in particular comprising a articulated heel grip on this fixed body. It is also adaptable to any sports shoe that must be fixed on a gliding board. It is naturally not limited to the examples described and can be implemented through a separate part of the rest of the heel, which forms all or part of the tongue of the heel, more exactly all or part of its surface upper and / or its thickness on which the shoe bears. This distinct piece can thus take a shape of smaller or larger surface than the examples shown. For example, the separate part 3, 3 'can occupy a surface which covers the entire anterior part of the heel catch, extending from one lateral end to another and to the fins 13 of the heel gripper. 10 in height. Alternatively, it can be limited to a small surface of the tongue. In addition, the separate piece has been shown as removable. Alternatively, it could of course be non-removable, fixed on the heel by final fasteners, such as gluing or welding, or by devices not suitable for the removal and exchange of the part, as with screws by example. Finally, the separate part may be in several independent parts, and / or in several parts in different materials, obtained for example by several injection steps.

The solution achieves the desired goals and has the advantages of being economical, aesthetic, and user-friendly.
