Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Lüftungsbauteil, umfassend ein kanalförmiges Gehäuse (1) von vorzugsweise rechteckigem bzw. quadratischem Querschnitt, wobei in dem Gehäuse (1) zumindest ein Radialventilator (2) und zumindest ein Schalldämpfer für strömende Gase vorgesehen sind, wobei insbesondere zumindest ein, vorzugsweise jeder, Schalldämpfer in Strömungsrichtung (4) gesehen hinter dem Radialventilator (2) angeordnet ist und zumindest eine mit einem Absorptionsmaterial ausgefüllte Kulisse (3) aufweist. Um einen Schalldämpfer anzugeben, der einen geringeren Druckverlust bei gleicher oder optimierter Schalldämpfung aufweist, soll bei jeder einem Radialventilator (2) zugeordneten Kulisse (3) der Bereich zwischen den Außenabmessungen der Kulisse (3) in Strömungsrichtung (4) gesehen zumindest bereichsweise gefüllt sein, dass jede Kulisse (3) in einem Abstand zu dem nächsten angrenzenden Bauteil angeordnet ist und somit jede Kulisse (3) allseitig von einem umlaufenden Freiraum (10) zum Strömen des Gases umgeben ist, so dass jede Kulisse (3) allseitig von dem strömenden Gas umströmbar ist, wobei der Gehäusequerschnitt eine der Anzahl der in einem Bereich des Gehäusequerschnittes vorgesehenen Kulissen (3) entsprechende Anzahl theoretischer Gehäusequerschnittteilbereiche I bzw. II bzw. III bzw. IV aufweist, wobei jede Kulisse (3) bezogen auf ihren zughörigen Gehäusequerschnittteilbereich I bzw. II bzw. III bzw. IV zwischen 55% und 90%, vorzugsweise zwischen 64% und 81%, des theoretisch freien Strömungsquerschnittes des Gehäusequerschnittteilbereiches I bzw. II bzw. III bzw. IV versperrt.
