  • the interrupter 20 is operated by engagement of a shunt-operating arm 70 with a cam 72 secured to the blade 30, It is important for proper operation of the shunt interrupter 16 that the arm 70 properly latch with the cam 72 because failing to do so can result in the contacts in the interrupter 16 not opening correctly and the current not being interrupted. It is possible even that an external arc can result and a flashover of the switch 16.
  • the cam 72 is formed with an integral closing feature 74 to ensure the operating arm 70 is moved to the fully closed and latched position upon closing of the associated switch 16.
  • An additional feature 76 a multi-angled cam surface that allows resetting of the operating arm 70. The surface 76 forces the flexible arm 70 over the conductive pin 78 during closing of the switch 16.

Claims (14)

  1. Un ensemble contact (50) pour un commutateur électrique (10) comprenant un contact de type à mâchoire possédant des contacts à mâchoire supérieur et inférieur (56) comprenant un bouton de contact à mâchoire (52) disposé sur un doigt de contact à mâchoire correspondant (54), où le bouton de contact à mâchoire (52) flotte à l'intérieur d'une ouverture (58) formée dans un doigt guide (60) placé entre les contacts à mâchoire supérieur et inférieur (56).
  2. L'ensemble contact (50) selon la Revendication 1, comprenant un premier doigt guide (60) et un deuxième doigt guide (60) espacé du premier doigt guide, un premier doigt de contact à mâchoire (54) et un deuxième doigt de contact à mâchoire (54) associés respectivement au premier doigt guide et au deuxième doigt guide, chaque doigt parmi le premier doigt de contact à mâchoire et le deuxième doigt de contact à mâchoire étant formé avec un bouton de contact à mâchoire (52).
  3. L'ensemble contact (50) selon la Revendication 2, les premier et deuxième doigts guides (60) étant espacés l'un de l'autre et possédant des pointes avant destinées au guidage d'une lame entre celles-ci, où éventuellement ou de préférence les pointes avant comprennent un matériau sacrificiel d'arc.
  4. L'ensemble contact (50) selon la Revendication 1, les premier et deuxième doigts de contact à mâchoire (54) étant élastiques, les premier et deuxième doigts de contact à mâchoire déviant élastiquement de façon à accepter une lame (30) entre celles-ci.
  5. L'ensemble contact (50) selon la Revendication 1, les premier et deuxième doigts guides (60) empêchant les premier et deuxième doigts de contact à mâchoire (54) respectifs de s'affaisser.
  6. L'ensemble contact (50) selon la Revendication 1, le premier ou le deuxième doigt guide (60) comprenant une butée (66) et un bloc de guidage (68) qui sont ajustables de façon à aligner et centrer les premier et deuxième doigts guides (60).
  7. Un commutateur électrique (10) comprenant un interrupteur shunt (20) actionné par un bras d'actionnement de shunt (70) comprenant :
    une came (72) fixée à une lame (30), la came (72) étant formée avec une caractéristique de fermeture (74) destinée à entrer en prise avec le bras d'actionnement de shunt (70) de façon à déplacer le bras d'actionnement de shunt (70) vers une position totalement fermée et verrouillée de l'interrupteur shunt (20) lors de la fermeture du commutateur (10), et
    l'ensemble contact (50) selon l'une quelconque des Revendications 1 à 6.
  8. Le commutateur (10) selon la Revendication 7, la came (72) possédant une pluralité de surfaces de fonctionnement (76), une surface de la pluralité de surfaces de fonctionnement étant destinée à entrer en prise avec le bras d'actionnement de shunt (70) de façon à réinitialiser le bras d'actionnement de shunt (70) et l'interrupteur shunt (20).
  9. Le commutateur (10) selon la Revendication 8, où la came (72) possède un dispositif antigivrage (80), la came (72) est non-conductrice, et/ou la came (72) est montée sur une lame (30) du commutateur (10) et possède une goupille conductrice (78) électriquement couplée à la lame (30).
  10. Un ensemble commutateur (10) comprenant :
    une connexion à borne (28) qui comprend :
    une charnière d'articulation (28) possédant une partie d'extrémité de lame (30) et une partie d'extrémité de charnière (32), la partie d'extrémité de lame (30) étant formée avec une partie de surface convexe ou semi-sphérique (36),
    la partie d'extrémité de charnière (32) montée pour un déplacement relatif sur la partie d'extrémité de lame (30), la partie d'extrémité de charnière (32) formée avec une partie de surface convexe ou semi-sphérique (38) correspondant par accouplement à la partie de surface convexe (36) de la partie d'extrémité de lame (30) de sorte que l'interaction des parties de surface convexes (36, 38) agisse en tant que roulement,
    un bras d'actionnement de shunt (70) comprenant une came (72) fixée à une lame (30), la came étant formée avec une caractéristique de fermeture (74) destinée à entrer en prise avec le bras d'actionnement de shunt (70) de façon à déplacer le bras d'actionnement de shunt (70) vers une position totalement fermée et verrouillée de l'interrupteur shunt (20) lors de la fermeture du commutateur (10), et

  11. L'ensemble commutateur (10) selon la Revendication 10, où au moins une des parties de surface convexes (36, 38) est munie de boutons, de bosses ou de saillies destinés à fournir un contact électrique à la partie de surface convexe d'accouplement.
  12. L'ensemble commutateur (10) selon la Revendication 10, où la connexion à borne (28) comprend en outre des ouvertures formées dans chaque partie parmi la partie d'extrémité de lame (30) et la partie d'extrémité de charnière (32) à l'intérieur des parties de surface convexes respectives (36, 38), un montant (40) s'étendant au travers des ouvertures, un dispositif de retenue fixé sur le montant et un ressort (44) disposé entre le dispositif de retenue et une partie parmi la partie d'extrémité de charnière (30) et la partie d'extrémité de lame (32).
  13. L'ensemble commutateur (10) selon la Revendication 10, où la partie d'extrémité de charnière (32) est déplaçable de manière relative par rapport à la partie d'extrémité de lame (30) en rotation d'environ +/- 10 à 15 degrés et en torsion autour de son axe longitudinal d'environ +/- 5 degrés.

L'ensemble commutateur (10) selon la Revendication 13, où une force de contact entre la partie d'extrémité de charnière (32) et la partie d'extrémité de lame (30) n'est pas affectée par la rotation ou la torsion de la partie d'extrémité de charnière (32) par rapport à la partie d'extrémité de lame (30).
