L'invention porte sur un dispositif de fenaison (1) destiné à déplacer une récolte fauchée, lequel dispositif comprend un châssis ayant une poutre principale (2) qui s'étend dans une direction longitudinale, et deux bras latéraux (4a, 4b) placés sur les deux côtés de la poutre principale, chaque bras latéral portant un premier outil ayant un rotor, une extrémité intérieure de chaque bras latéral étant reliée à la poutre principale de façon mobile et pouvant se déplacer entre une position de transport, dans laquelle elle s'étend sensiblement le long de la poutre principale, l'extrémité intérieure étant, au moins à proximité de l'extrémité avant, à un premier angle par rapport à la poutre principale, et une position de travail, dans laquelle le bras latéral s'étend vers le côté à partir de la poutre principale à un second angle, plus grand que le premier angle, dans lequel les parties d'extrémité externes des bras latéraux, dans leur position de transport, laissent entre elles un espace intermédiaire (200) à l'extrémité arrière du dispositif pour recevoir une extrémité avant d'un autre dispositif, sensiblement identique.
