Fig. 1 zeigt eine perspektivische Darstellung eines Möbels 1 mit einem schrankförmigen Möbelkorpus 2, wobei Schubladen 3 über Schienensysteme 4 relativ zum Möbelkorpus 2 verfahrbar gelagert sind. Auf jeder Seite der Schublade 3 befindet sich ein Schienensystem 4, wobei die beiden Schienensysteme 4 an gegenüberliegenden Seitenwänden des Möbelkorpus 2 zu befestigen sind. Erkennbar ist eine quer zur Ausziehrichtung der Schublade 3 verlaufende Synchronisationsstange 5 in Form einer Torsionswelle. Durch die Synchronisationsstange 5 sind die Bewegungen der beiden Schienensysteme 4 relativ zueinander synchronisierbar, wodurch auch eine präzise Parallelführung der Schublade 3 relativ zum Möbelkorpus 2 herbeigeführt werden kann. Die beiden Schienensysteme 4 weisen jeweils eine am Möbelkorpus 2 zu befestigende Korpusschiene 6 sowie mindestens eine relativ zur Korpusschiene 6 verfahrbare Ladenschiene 7 auf. Der Zweck der Synchronisationsstange 5 liegt darin, die Bewegung der linken und rechten Ladenschiene 7 relativ zueinander zu synchronisieren, sodass die Schublade 3 ohne seitliches Verkanten aus dem Möbelkorpus 2 herausgezogen und in den Möbelkorpus 2 eingeschoben werden kann. A rail system (4) for drawers (3), comprising a carcass rail (6) to be fastened to a furniture carcass (2), at least one drawer rail (7) movable relative to the carcass rail (6), at least one rack-and-pinion arrangement (8, 9), a limiting device (18) for limiting the depth of engagement of the pinion (8) relative to the rack (9), wherein the teeth (8a) of the pinion (8) only partially engage into corresponding tooth gaps (9a) of the rack (9), and wherein the limiting device (18) has a runner wheel (18a) which runs on a running surface of a part (18b) arranged in the longitudinal direction of the rail system (4), characterised in that the runner wheel (18a) runs on a resiliently yielding portion (18b) which acts as a cushion between the pinion (8) and the rack (9).
  2. The rail system according to claim 1, characterised in that the runner wheel (18a) is mounted coaxially relative to the axis of rotation of the pinion (8).
  3. The rail system according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the limiting device (18) has at least one limb (18c) which engages under the rack (9) and by which the lift-off height of the pinion (8) relative to the rack (9) can be limited.
  4. The rail system according to one of the claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the rack (9) is mounted limitedly movably in a height direction relative to the rail (6, 7, 10) to which the rack (9) is fastened.
  5. The rail system according to claim 4, characterised in that the rack (9) is mounted so as to be limitedly movable in the height direction by way of a resiliently yielding portion (15).
  6. The rail system according to claim 4 or 5, characterised in that the rack (9) is connected to one of the rails (6, 7, 10) by way of a film hinge (15a).
  7. The rail system according to one of the claims to 5, characterised in that the rack (9) is arranged or provided on an adaptor 19), wherein the adaptor (19) is connected or can be releasably connected to one of the rails (6, 7, 10) by way of at least one fastening location (21 a, 21b).
  8. The rail system according to claim 7, characterised in that the adaptor (19) is substantially in the form of an L-profile, wherein in the mounted position of the adaptor, one leg (19a) of the L-profile bears against a vertical limb of the carcass rail (6) and another leg (19b) of the L-profile bears against a horizontal limb of the carcass rail (6).
  9. The rail system according to claim 7 or 8, characterised in that the adaptor (19) can be screwed for mounting to the rail system (4) between the carcass rail (6) and the furniture carcass (2).
  10. The rail system according to one of the claims 1 to 9, characterised in that the rack (9) is arranged on the carcass rail (6) or the furniture carcass (2) and the pinion (8) is mounted on the drawer rail (7) or the drawer (3).
  11. The rail system according to one of the claims 1 to 9, characterised in that the rack (9) is arranged on the drawer rail (7) or the drawer (3) and the pinion (8) is mounted on the carcass rail (6) or the furniture carcass (2).
  12. An arrangement comprising two rail systems according to one of the claims 1 to 11, characterised in that the two rail systems (4) are to be fastened to opposite side walls of an article of furniture (1) and the rail systems (4) are or can be connected together for the transmission of a synchronous movement by way of a synchronisation bar (5), wherein at least one respective pinion (8) engages into a respective rack (9) of the rail system (4).
  13. An article of furniture comprising an arrangement according to claim 12.
