- A folding support handle assembly (20) comprising a mounting plate (21) for attaching the assembly to a wall, the mounting plate (21) being provided with a bearing block (30) for forming a pivot bearing assembly (50) having a pivot axis (33) between the mounting plate (21) and a handle tube end (35) of a handle tube (36), said handle tube (36) being pivotable between a non-use position, in which the handle tube (36) is located in an arrangement pivoted against an attachment wall (24), and a use position, in which the handle tube (36) is arranged so as to project from the attachment wall, the bearing block (30) accommodating, between bearing jaws (28, 29), a connecting piece (37), which is formed at the handle tube end (35), so as to form the pivot bearing assembly, the pivot bearing assembly having a first stop device (40) for defining the non-use position and a second stop device (41) for defining the use position, the first stop device (40) being formed between at least one bearing jaw (28, 29) and the connecting piece (37),
characterized in that
the second stop device (41) is formed between a free end of a support lever, which is formed by the connecting piece (37), and a support stop (46), which is formed on the mounting plate (21), and that the first stop device (40) is located at a shorter distance from the pivot axis (33) than the second stop device (41), the first stop device (40) having a stop protrusion, which is arranged eccentrically to the pivot axis (33) and interacts with a correspondingly arranged support stop and is formed by a stop pin (53), which is oriented parallel to the pivot axis (33) and engages into a stop groove (54), which runs radially to the pivot axis, a groove end (56), which is axial with respect to the longitudinal axis (55) of the stop groove (56), forming the support stop. - The folding support handle assembly according to claim 1,
