Claims (13)

  1. Lift and slide door (1) or lift and slide window comprising at least one lift and slide leaf (7), wherein the lift and slide leaf (7) comprises a plastics hollow section frame (8) that comprises a reinforcement chamber (17), wherein the lift and slide leaf (7) comprises at least one carriage (14) received in a recess (26) of the lower frame part (11) of the plastics hollow section frame (8),
    characterised in that
    the recess (26) is exposed by removing the crosspiece, in part, on the lower face of the lower frame part (11) of the plastics hollow section frame (8) and by removing a region at the join between the lower frame part (11) and a lateral frame part (12) of the plastics hollow section frame (8), and the recess (26) forms an opening in the reinforcement chamber (17), wherein a carriage housing (16) is arranged in the recess (26) of the lower frame part (11) of the plastics hollow section frame (8), between the plastics hollow section and the carriage (14), which housing covers the opening of the reinforcement chamber (17) that is formed by the recess (26), wherein the carriage housing (16) comprises a longitudinal member (29) of a U-shaped or trough-shaped profile, and a cover (23) on an open end of the longitudinal member (29).
  2. Lift and slide door (1) or lift and slide window according to claim 1, characterised in that the cover (23) of the carriage housing (16) covers the opening of the reinforcement chamber (17) that is formed by the recess (26).
  3. Lift and slide door (1) or lift and slide window according to either claim 1 or claim 2, characterised in that gripping means (21, 21') are provided above the longitudinal sides (20, 20') of the carriage housing (16), which gripping means engage behind corresponding fastening means (19, 19') on the lower frame part (11) of the plastics hollow section frame (8).
  4. Lift and slide door (1) or lift and slide window according to any of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the carriage housing (16) and/or the carriage (14) are fastened to the plastics hollow section frame (8), preferably screwed to the plastics hollow section frame (8).
  5. Lift and slide door (1) or lift and slide window according to any of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that at least two carriages (14) are received completely in the carriage housing (16) in the longitudinal direction.
  6. Lift and slide door (1) or lift and slide window according to any of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the carriage housing (16) has a multi-part structure.
  7. Lift and slide door (1) or lift and slide window according to any of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the cover (23) of the carriage housing (16) can be connected to an open end of the longitudinal member (29).
  8. Lift and slide door (1) or lift and slide window according to claim 1, characterised in that the carriage housing (16) is formed in one piece, as an injection-moulded part.
  9. Lift and slide door (1) or lift and slide window according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the carriage housing (16) comprises elevations on the outer face of the base side (22), wherein the elevations are preferably selected from the group consisting of domes, ribs, grooves, corrugations, cones, round elevations, polygonal elevations, and combinations thereof.
  10. Lift and slide door (1) or lift and slide window according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that a covering tab (24) that extends orthogonally to the base side (22) is located above the open end face of the carriage housing (16).
  11. Lift and slide door (1) or lift and slide window according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that an insertion tab is provided on the closed end face of the carriage housing (16), which tab extends in parallel with the bottom face (22) and at the height of the opening of the U-shaped or trough-shaped profile.
  12. Lift and slide door (1) or lift and slide window according to either claim 10 or claim 11, characterised in that a sealing element is provided on the rear face of the cover tab (24) and/or of the insertion tab.
  13. Lift and slide door (1) or lift and slide window according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the carriage housing (16) is a metal or a plastics component, wherein the carriage housing (16) is preferably a component made of aluminium, stainless steel, a die-cast aluminium alloy, a die-cast zinc alloy, a die-cast aluminium-zinc alloy, acrylonitrile styrene acrylester (ASA), polyamide (PA), polyoxymethylene (POM) or fibre-reinforced polymers, in particular glass fibre-reinforced polymers, preferably a component made of a die-cast aluminium-zinc alloy.
