Nach einem Entfernen des Drückervierkants lässt sich die Falle ein Stück aus dem Schlosskasten herausziehen und drehen.
Die US 302 657 A offenbart ein Schloss für eine Tür, bei dem eine Falle ohne Demontage des Schlosses gedreht werden kann. Hierfür hat das Schloss übereinander liegende Nusshälften.

Figur 1 zeigt ein Schloss mit einem Schlosskasten 1, welcher von einer Stulpe 2 begrenzt ist. Zur Vereinfachung der Zeichnung sind das Schloss abdeckende Seitenwände nicht dargestellt. Das Schloss hat eine Falle 3 und einen Riegel 4. Der Riegel 4 lässt sich über ein Getriebe 5 von der dargestellten in dem Schlosskasten 1 befindlichen Stellung in eine hervorstehende Stellung bewegen. Zum Antrieb des Getriebes 5 ist ein Schließzylinder 6 in das Schloss eingesetzt. Die Falle 3 ist von einer Fallenfeder 7 in die dargestellte, aus dem Schlosskasten 1 herausragende Stellung vorgespannt und lässt sich wahlweise über einen mit dem Getriebe 5 gekoppelten Wechselhebel 8 oder über eine Stellnusshälfte 9 einer Drückernuss 10 in den Schlosskasten 1 zurückziehen. Die Stellnusshälfte 9 hat einen Innenmehrkant 11 zur formschlüssigen Aufnahme eines drehfest mit einer nicht dargestellten Handhabe verbundenen Mehrkants 12. Die Falle 3 ragt mit einem Fallenschwanz 13 in den Schlosskasten 1 hinein und ist in der dargestellten Grundstellung in einer Ausnehmung 14 der Stulpe 2 unverdrehbar und axial verschieblich gehalten. An dem der Falle 3 abgewandten Ende des Fallenschwanzes 13 ist ein Stellteil 15 angeordnet, an dem sich die Stellnusshälfte 9 mit einem Fallenrückzugsarm 16 abstützt. Der Fallenschwanz 13 hat eine lösbare Verbindung mit dem Stellteil 15. Das Stellteil 15 ist aus Blech gefertigt und weist zwei Kragen 17, 18 auf, an denen sich der Fallenrückzugsarm 16 und der Wechselhebel 8 abstützen. Die lösbare Verbindung des Fallenschwanzes 13 mit dem Stellteil 15 kann beispielsweise ein nicht dargestelltes Gewinde oder ein Bajonettverschluss sein, welcher durch eine drehfeste Führung der Falle 3 in der Ausnehmung 14 der Stulpe 2 gegen ein Lösen gesichert ist. Durch die Abstützung der Stütznusshälfte 22 wird verhindert, dass die Falle 3 aus der Ausnehmung 14 in der Stulpe 2 und damit aus dem Schlosskasten 1 entfernt werden kann. Die Falle 3 kann damit nur gegen die Kraft des Federpakets 24 in den Schlosskasten 1 hinein gedrückt werden.
