Description
- Die Erfindung betrifft ein flüssiges Wasch- oder Reinigungsmittel, enthaltend Tensid(e), Wasser und ein vergrauungsinhibierendes Polymer sowie dessen Verwendung gemäß den Ansprüchen 1-6.
- Zur Erhöhung der Wasch- oder Reinigungsleistung von Wasch- oder Reinigungsmitteln enthalten diese häufig ein oder mehrere Zusatzstoffe. Um beispielsweise ein Wiederaufziehen von vorher losgelöstem Schmutz in feinerer Verteilung (Redeposition) zu verhindern, enthalten Waschmittel so genannte Vergrauungsinhibitoren, wie zum Beispiel Carboxymethylcellulose.
- So beschreibt die
EP 054325 A1 - Die
EP 0 133 566 A2 beschreibt phosphatarme und -freie Waschmittel, die als vergrauungsinhibierenden Zusatz Methylcellulose, Carboxymethylcellulose und Copolymere der (Meth)Acrylsäure und Maleinsäure enthalten. - Die
US 5,500,153 undUS 2004/0102346 A1 beschreiben Waschmittel, die als polymere Dispersionsmittel bzw. Anti-Wiederablagerungsmittel polymere Polycarboxylate, wie beispielsweise Acrylsäurepolymere enthalten. - Aufgrund der geringen Löslichkeit von Carboxymethylcellulose in flüssigen Wasch- oder Reinigungsmitteln gibt es am Markt bisher kein flüssiges Wasch- oder Reinigungsmittel, welches Carboxymethylcellulose als Vergrauungsinhibitor enthält. Ein weiteres Problem ist, dass stabile Dispersionen der Carboxymethylcellulose in der Matrix eines Wasch- oder Reinigungsmittels sehr schwer zu erhalten sind und dass es bei Lagerung eines Carboxymethylcellulose-haltigen Wasch- oder Reinigungsmittels zu Ausfällungen und Phasentrennungen kommt. Zusätzlich tritt bei Zugabe von Carboxymethylcellulose zu flüssigen Wasch- oder Reinigungsmitteln eine unerwünscht starke Erhöhung der Viskosität auf.
- Dies alles führt zu der Tatsache, dass bei Verwendung von Pulverwaschmitteln, in die Carboxymethylcellulose problemlos eingearbeitet werden kann, eine deutlich geringere Vergrauung der Wäsche auftritt, als bei Verwendung von Flüssigwaschmitteln.
- Es ist deshalb eine Aufgabe der Erfindung, ein stabiles flüssiges Wasch- oder Reinigungsmittel mit einem Vergrauungsinhibitor bereitzustellen.
- Diese Aufgabe wird gelöst durch Verwendung von Alkalimetallsalzen der Homopolymere von Acrylsäure mit einem durchschnittlichen Molekulargewicht Mw von 1.000 bis 8.000 als anionischem Polymer in einem flüssigen tensidhaltigen Wasch- oder Reinigungsmittel, umfassend Wasser, unterhalb von 60
Gew.-% Tensid und ein vergrauungsinhibierendes Polysaccharid, zur Erhöhung der vergrauungsinhibierenden Wirkung des Wasch- oder Reinigungsmittels beim Waschen und/oder Reinigen von textilen Flächengebilden. - Die anionischen Acrylsäurepolymere sind sehr gut wasserlöslich und lassen sich in der Matrix eines wässrigen Flüssigwasch- oder Flüssigreinigungsmittels stabil dispergieren, ohne dass es zu Ausfällungen, Phasentrennungen und/oder starken Viskositätserhöhungen kommt.
- Es ist von Vorteil, wenn das vergrauungsinhibierende Polysaccharid aus der Gruppe, umfassend Carboxymethylcellulose (CMC), Ethersulfonsäurensalze von Stärke, Ethersulfonsäurensalze von Cellulose, saure Schwefelsäureestersalze von Cellulose, saure Schwefelsäureestersalze von Stärke, Methylcellulose, Ethylcellulose, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Hydroxypropylcellulose Methylhydroxyethylcellulose, Methylcarboxymethylcellulose, Ethylhydroxyethylcellulose und Mischungen daraus, ausgewählt ist. Ganz besonders bevorzugt ist das vergrauungsinhibierende Polysaccharid Carboxymethylcellulose, insbesondere Natriumcarboxymethylcellulose.
- Diese bevorzugten vergrauungsinhibierenden Polysaccharide führen in Kombination mit dem anionischen Polymer zu Wasch- oder Reinigungsmitteln mit einem besonders guten Antigrau-Effekt.
- Ferner betrifft die Erfindung die Verwendung eines anionischen Polymers, wie oben definiert, in einem flüssigen Wasch- oder Reinigungsmittel, umfassend Wasser, und Tensid und ein vergrauungsinhibierendes Polysaccharid, zur Erhöhung der vergrauungsinhibierenden Wirkung des Wasch- oder Reinigungsmittels beim Waschen und/oder Reinigen von textilen Flächengebilden bei 10 bis 30 °C.
- In einem weiteren Aspekt betrifft die Erfindung ein flüssiges Wasch- oder Reinigungsmittel, enthaltend
- Wasser,
- 0,1 bis 60 Gew.-% Tensid,
- 0,1 bis 5 Gew.-% eines vergrauungsinhibierenden Polysaccharids,
- 0,05 bis 1 Gew.-% Xanthan,
- 1 bis 20 Gew.-% Natriumsulfat und
- 0,15 bis 20 Gew.-% eines Acrylsäurehomopolymers mit einem mittleren Molekulargewicht Mw von 1.200 oder 4.500.
- Durch die Zugabe von Acrylsäurehomopolymeren mit einem mittleren Molekulargewicht Mw von 1.200 oder 4.500 werden flüssige Wasch- oder Reinigungsmittel erhalten, die eine außerordentlich hohe Vergrauungsinhibierung aufweisen. Durch die Kombination aus Xanthan und Natriumsulfat weist die Matrix der flüssigen Wasch- und Reinigungsmittel eine tensidreiche Mikrophase und eine kontinuierliche, tensidarme Phase auf, wobei die tensidreiche Phase in der kontinuierlichen, tensidarmen Phase dispergiert ist. Diese besondere Struktur ermöglicht es, vergrauungsinhibierende Polysaccharide, insbesondere Natriumcarboxymethylcellulose, lagerstabil zu dispergieren. Die vergrauungsinhibierende Wirkung der Polysaccharide wird durch die Gegenwart eines Acrylsäurehomopolymeren mit einem mittleren Molekulargewicht von 1.200 oder 4.500 auf synergistische Weise weiter verstärkt.
- Im Folgenden soll die Erfindung unter anderem anhand von Beispielen eingehender beschrieben werden.
- Obwohl im Rahmen dieser Erfindung bezüglich der anionischen Polymere und deren Monomere von den Säuren gesprochen wird, werden die genannten Polymere in zumindest teilweise neutralisierter Form und zwar in Form ihrer Alkalimetallsalze, vorzugsweise Natriumsalze, eingesetzt.
- Das anionische Polymer wird in einer Menge von 0,15 bis 20 Gew.-%, bezogen auf das gesamte Wasch- oder Reinigungsmittel, eingesetzt. Insbesondere bevorzugt beträgt die Menge an anionischem Polymer 0,5 bis 6 Gew.-%, bezogen auf das gesamte Wasch- oder Reinigungsmittel.
- Das Wasch- oder Reinigungsmittel enthält neben dem anionischen Polymer Tensid(e), wobei anionische, nichtionische, zwitterionische und/oder amphotere Tenside eingesetzt werden können. Bevorzugt sind aus anwendungstechnischer Sicht Mischungen aus anionischen und nichtionischen Tensiden. Der Gesamttensidgehalt des flüssigen Wasch- oder Reinigungsmittels liegt unterhalb von 60 Gew.-% und besonders bevorzugt unterhalb von 45 Gew.-%, bezogen auf das gesamte flüssige Wasch- oder Reinigungsmittel.
- Geeignete nichtionische Tenside umfassen alkoxylierte Fettalkohole, alkoxylierte Fettsäurealkylester, Fettsäureamide, alkoxylierte Fettsäureamide, Polyhydroxyfettsäureamide, Alkylphenolpolyglycolether, Aminoxide, Alkylpolyglucoside und Mischungen daraus.
- Als nichtionische Tenside werden vorzugsweise alkoxylierte, vorteilhafterweise ethoxylierte, insbesondere primäre Alkohole mit vorzugsweise 8 bis 18 C-Atomen und durchschnittlich 1 bis 12 Mol Ethylenoxid (EO) pro Mol Alkohol eingesetzt, in denen der Alkoholrest linear oder bevorzugt in 2-Stellung methylverzweigt sein kann bzw. lineare und methylverzweigte Reste im Gemisch enthalten kann, so wie sie üblicherweise in Oxoalkoholresten vorliegen. Insbesondere sind jedoch Alkoholethoxylate mit linearen Resten aus Alkoholen nativen Ursprungs mit 12 bis 18 C-Atomen, zum Beispiel aus Kokos-, Palm-, Talgfett- oder Oleylalkohol, und durchschnittlich 2 bis 8 EO pro Mol Alkohol bevorzugt. Zu den bevorzugten ethoxylierten Alkoholen gehören beispielsweise C12-14-Alkohole mit 3 EO, 4 EO oder 7 EO, C9-11-Alkohol mit 7 EO, C13-15-Alkohole mit 3 EO, 5 EO, 7 EO oder 8 EO, C12-18-Alkohole mit 3 EO, 5 EO oder 7 EO und Mischungen aus diesen, wie Mischungen aus C12-14-Alkohol mit 3 EO und C12-18-Alkohol mit 7 EO. Die angegebenen Ethoxylierungsgrade stellen statistische Mittelwerte dar, die für ein spezielles Produkt eine ganze oder eine gebrochene Zahl sein können. Bevorzugte Alkoholethoxylate weisen eine eingeengte Homologenverteilung auf (narrow range ethoxylates, NRE). Zusätzlich zu diesen nichtionischen Tensiden können auch Fettalkohole mit mehr als 12 EO eingesetzt werden. Beispiele hierfür sind Talgfettalkohol mit 14 EO, 25 EO, 30 EO oder 40 EO. Auch nichtionische Tenside, die EO- und PO-Gruppen zusammen im Molekül enthalten, sind erfindungsgemäß einsetzbar. Geeignet sind ferner auch eine Mischung aus einem (stärker) verzweigten ethoxylierten Fettalkohol und einem unverzweigten ethoxylierten Fettalkohol, wie beispielsweise eine Mischung aus einem C16-18-Fettalkohol mit 7 EO und 2-Propylheptanol mit 7 EO. Insbesondere bevorzugt enthält das Wasch-, Reinigungs-, Nachbehandlungs- oder Waschhilfsmittel einen C12-18-Fettalkohol mit 7 EO oder einen C13-15-Oxoalkohol mit 7 EO als nichtionisches Tensid.
- Der Gehalt an nichtionischen Tensiden beträgt in dem Wasch- oder Reinigungsmittel bevorzugt 3 bis 40 Gew.-%, vorzugsweise 5 bis 30 Gew.-% und insbesondere 7 bis 20 Gew.-%, jeweils bezogen auf das gesamte Wasch- oder Reinigungsmittel.
- Neben den nichtionischen Tensiden kann das Wasch- oder Reinigungsmittel auch anionische Tenside enthalten. Als anionisches Tensid werden vorzugsweise Sulfonate, Sulfate, Seifen, Alkylphosphate, anionische Silikontenside und Mischungen daraus eingesetzt.
- Als Tenside vom Sulfonat-Typ kommen dabei vorzugsweise C9-13-Alkylbenzolsulfonate, Olefinsulfonate, d.h. Gemische aus Alken- und Hydroxyalkansulfonaten sowie Disulfonaten, wie man sie beispielsweise aus C12-18-Monoolefinen mit end- oder innenständiger Doppelbindung durch Sulfonieren mit gasförmigem Schwefeltrioxid und anschließende alkalische oder saure Hydrolyse der Sulfonierungsprodukte erhält, in Betracht. Geeignet sind auch C12-18-Alkansulfonate und die Ester von α-Sulfofettsäuren (Estersulfonate), zum Beispiel die α-sulfonierten Methylester der hydrierten Kokos-, Paimkern- oder Talgfettsäuren.
- Als Alk(en)ylsulfate werden die Alkali- und insbesondere die Natriumsalze der Schwefelsäurehalbester der C12-C18-Fettalkohole, beispielsweise aus Kokosfettalkohol, Talgfettalkohol, Lauryl-, Myristyl-, Cetyl- oder Stearylalkohol oder der C10-C20-Oxoalkohole und diejenigen Halbester sekundärer Alkohole dieser Kettenlängen bevorzugt. Aus waschtechnischem Interesse sind die C12-C16-Alkylsulfate und C12-C15-Alkylsulfate sowie C14-C15-Alkylsulfate bevorzugt. Auch 2,3-Alkylsulfate sind geeignete anionische Tenside.
- Auch die Schwefelsäuremonoester der mit 1 bis 6 Mol Ethylenoxid ethoxylierten geradkettigen oder verzweigten C7-21-Alkohole, wie 2-Methyl-verzweigte C9-11-Alkohole mit im Durchschnitt 3,5 Mol Ethylenoxid (EO) oder C12-18-Fettalkohole mit 1 bis 4 EO, sind geeignet.
- Auch bevorzugte anionische Tenside sind Seifen. Geeignet sind gesättigte und ungesättigte Fettsäureseifen, wie die Salze der Laurinsäure, Myristinsäure, Palmitinsäure, Stearinsäure, (hydrierten) Erucasäure und Behensäure sowie insbesondere aus natürlichen Fettsäuren, zum Beispiel Kokos-, Palmkern-, Olivenöl- oder Talgfettsäuren, abgeleitete Seifengemische.
- Die anionischen Tenside einschließlich der Seifen können in Form ihrer Natrium-, Kalium- oder Magnesium- oder Ammoniumsalze vorliegen. Vorzugsweise liegen die anionischen Tenside in Form ihrer Natriumsalze vor. Weitere bevorzugte Gegenionen für die anionischen Tenside sind auch die protonierten Formen von Cholin, Triethylamin oder Methylethylamin.
- Der Gehalt eines Wasch- oder Reinigungsmittels an anionischen Tensiden kann 1 bis 40 Gew.-%, vorzugsweise 5 bis 30 Gew.-% und ganz besonders bevorzugt 10 bis 25 Gew.-%, jeweils bezogen auf das gesamte Wasch- oder Reinigungsmittel, betragen.
- Das anionische Polymer wird in einem flüssigen Wasch- oder Reinigungsmittel, welches ein stabil dispergiertes, vergrauungsinhibierendes Polysaccharid enthält, zur Steigerung der vergrauungsinhibierenden Wirkung des Wasch- oder Reinigungsmittels eingesetzt.
- Als vergrauungsinhibierendes Polysaccharid enthält das flüssige Wasch- oder Reinigungsmittel vorzugsweise Carboxymethylcellulose (CMC), ein Ethersulfonsäurensalze von Stärke, ein Ethersulfonsäuresalz von Cellulose, ein saures Schwefelsäureestersalz von Cellulose, ein saures Schwefelsäureestersalz von Stärke, Methylcellulose, Ethylcellulose, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Hydroxypropylcellulose Methylhydroxyethylcellulose, Methylcarboxymethylcellulose, Ethylhydroxyethylcellulose oder eine Mischung dieser vergrauungsinhibierenden Polysaccharide. Ganz besonders bevorzugt ist das vergrauungsinhibierende Polysaccharid Carboxymethylcellulose, insbesondere Natriumcarboxymethylcellulose.
- Die Menge an vergrauungsinhibierendem Polysaccharid beträgt 0,1 bis 5 Gew.-%, bezogen auf die gesamte Menge des Wasch- oder Reinigungsmittels. Bevorzugt beträgt die Menge an vergrauungsinhibierendem Polysaccharid zwischen 0,2 und 4 Gew.-% und ganz besonders bevorzugt zwischen 0,5 und 3 Gew.-%, jeweils bezogen auf die gesamte Menge des Wasch- oder Reinigungsmittels.
- Die anionischen Polymere werden in flüssigen Wasch- oder Reinigungsmittel eingesetzt, wobei diese Wasser als Hauptlösungsmittel enthalten. Daneben können dem Wasch- oder Reinigungsmittel nichtwässrige Lösungsmittel zugesetzt werden. Geeignete nichtwässrige Lösungsmittel umfassen ein- oder mehrwertige Alkohole, Alkanolamine oder Glykolether, sofern sie im angegebenen Konzentrationsbereich mit Wasser mischbar sind. Vorzugsweise werden die Lösungsmittel ausgewählt aus Ethanol, n-Propanol, i-Propanol, Butanolen, Glykol, Propandiol, Butandiol, Glycerin, Diglykol, Propyldiglycol, Butyldiglykol, Hexylenglycol, Ethylenglykolmethylether, Ethylenglykolethylether, Ethylenglykolpropylether, Ethylenglykolmono-n-butylether, Diethylenglykolmethylether, Diethylenglykolethylethe sowie Mischungen dieser Lösungsmittel. Nichtwässrige Lösungsmittel können in dem Wasch- oder Reinigungsmittel in Mengen zwischen 0,5 und 15 Gew.-%, bevorzugt aber unter 12 Gew.-% und eingesetzt werden.
- Zusätzlich zu dem anionischen Polymer, dem/den Tensid(en) und dem vergrauungsinhibierenden Polysaccharid, kann das Wasch- oder Reinigungsmittel weitere Inhaltsstoffe enthalten, die die anwendungstechnischen und/oder ästhetischen Eigenschaften des Wasch- oder Reinigungsmittels weiter verbessern. Im Rahmen der vorliegenden Erfindung enthält das Wasch- oder Reinigungsmittel vorzugsweise zusätzlich einen oder mehrere Stoffe aus der Gruppe der Gerüststoffe, Bleichmittel, Bleichkatalysatoren, Bleichaktivatoren, Enzyme, Elektrolyte, nichtwässrigen Lösungsmittel, pH-Stellmittel, Parfüme, Parfümträger, Fluoreszenzmittel, Farbstoffe, Hydrotope, Schauminhibitoren, Silikonöle, Antiredepositionsmittel, weiteren Vergrauungsinhibitoren, Einlaufverhinderer, Knitterschutzmittel, Farbübertragungsinhibitoren, antimikrobiellen Wirkstoffe, Germizide, Fungizide, Antioxidantien, Konservierungsmittel, Korrosionsinhibitoren, Antistatika, Bittermittel, Bügelhilfsmittel, Phobier- und Imprägniermittel, Quell- und Schiebefestmittel, weichmachenden Komponenten sowie UV-Absorber.
- In der folgenden Tabelle 1 sind die Zusammensetzungen eines Wasch- oder Reinigungsmittels E1 sowie zwei Vergleichsrezepturen V1 und V2 gezeigt (alle Mengen sind in Gew.-% Aktivstoff, bezogen auf die Zusammensetzung, angegeben).

- Zum Beleg der vergrauungsinhibierenden Wirkung des Polyacrylats wurden die Wasch- oder Reinigungsmittel V1 und V2 sowie ein handelsübliches Pulverwaschmittel V3 (Gehalt an Na-Carboxymethylcellulose: 1,4 Gew.-%), ein handelsübliches Flüssigwaschmittel V4 (Gesamttensidgehalt: ∼ 33 Gew.-%) und ein weiteres handelsübliches Flüssigwaschmittel V5 (Gesamttensidgehalt: ∼ 15 Gew.-%) Waschversuch unterworfen. Die beiden Flüssigwaschmittel V4 und V5 enthielten kein vergrauungsinhibierendes Polysaccharid und das Natriumsalz von Citronensäure als Gerüststoff.
- In den Waschversuchen wurde eine Haushaltswaschmaschine (Miele W 526) mit 3,5 kg Testgewebe (WFK 10 A oder WFK 20 A) und je 4 SBL 2004 Tüchern mit standardisierter Schmutzbeladung (32 g Schmutzballast) beladen. Es wurden hintereinander jeweils 6 Wäschen bei 20 °C (Dosierung: V1 = 76 g, V2 = 76 g, V3 = 80 g, V4 = 81 g und V5 = 78 g) durchgeführt und anschließend nach hängender Trocknung und Mangeln der Wäsche deren Weißgrad nach Ganz/Grieser spektralphotometrisch bestimmt (siehe Tabelle 2).
Tabelle 2: Weißgrade nach Ganz/Grieser Wasch- oder Reinigungsmittel WFK 10A WFK 20A V1 174,6 135,2 V2 159,4 120,2 V3 176,1 136,5 V4 165,5 131,4 V5 142,6 116,9 - Die Werte zeigen deutlich, dass die Wäsche, die mit dem Acrylsäurepolymer-haltigen Wasch- oder Reinigungsmittel V1 behandelt wurde, deutlich höhere Weißgerade aufweist und somit weniger stark vergraut, als die Wäsche, die mit den Vergleichsrezepturen V2, V4 und V5 behandelt wurde.
- Die Werte zeigen auch, dass das Wasch- oder Reinigungsmittel V1 eine ähnliche gute Vergrauungsinhibierung aufweist, wie ein Pulverwaschmittel.
- In einem anderen Waschversuch zeigte sich, dass das Wasch- oder Reinigungsmittel E1 sogar eine deutlich stärkere, vergrauungsinhibierende Wirkung aufweist, als das Pulverwaschmittel V3.
- Dazu wurde eine Haushaltswaschmaschine (Miele W 526) mit 3,5 kg leicht verschmutzter, weißer Wäsche aus verschiedensten Materialien (Baumwolle, Polyester, Polyamid, Mischgeweben, etc.) beladen. Es wurden hintereinander 5 Wäschen bei 40 °C (Dosierung: E1 = 76 g und V3 = 80 g) durchgeführt und anschließend nach hängender Trocknung der Wäsche und Mangeln deren Helligkeitswert (Y-Wert der Tristimuluswerte {X, Y, Z}) spektralphotometrisch. Der Mittelwert aller Textilien, die mit dem Wasch- oder Reinigungsmittel E1 behandelt wurden betrug 83 und der Mittelwert aller Textilien, die mit dem festen Wasch- oder Reinigungsmittel V3 behandelt wurden, betrug 80,9.
Claims (6)
- Verwendung von Alkalimetallsalzen eines Acrylsäurehomopolymers mit einem mittleren Molekulargewicht Mw von 1.000 bis 8.000 in einem flüssigen tensidhaltigen Wasch- oder Reinigungsmittel, umfassend Wasser, unterhalb von 60 Gew.-% Tensid(e) und ein vergrauungsinhibierendes Polysaccharid, zur Erhöhung der vergrauungsinhibierenden Wirkung des Wasch- oder Reinigungsmittels beim Waschen und/oder Reinigen von textilen Flächengebilden.
- Verwendung gemäß Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das vergrauungsinhibierende Polysaccharid ausgewählt ist aus der Gruppe, umfassend Carboxymethylcellulose (CMC), Ethersulfonsäurensalze von Stärke, Ethersulfonsäurensalze von Cellulose, saure Schwefelsäureestersalze von Cellulose, saure Schwefelsäureestersalze von Stärke, Methylcellulose, Ethylcellulose, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Hydroxypropylcellulose Methylhydroxyethylcellulose, Methylcarboxymethylcellulose, Ethylhydroxyethylcellulose und Mischungen daraus.
- Verwendung gemäß Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Polysaccharid Carboxymethylcellulose, insbesondere Natriumcarboxymethylcellulose, ist.
- Verwendung gemäß einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Waschen und/oder Reinigen der textilen Flächengebilden bei einer Temperatur von 10 bis 30 °C erfolgt.
- Flüssiges Wasch- oder Reinigungsmittel, enthaltend- Wasser,- 0,1 bis 60 Gew.-% Tensid,- 0,1 bis 5 Gew.-% eines vergrauungsinhibierenden Polysaccharids,- 0,05 bis 1 Gew.-% Xanthan,- 1 bis 20 Gew.-% Natriumsulfat und- 0,15 bis 20 Gew.-% eines Acrylsäurehomopolymers mit einem mittleren Molekulargewicht Mw von 4.500.
- Flüssiges Wasch- oder Reinigungsmittel, enthaltend- Wasser,- 0,1 bis 60 Gew.-% Tensid,- 0,1 bis 5 Gew.-% eines vergrauungsinhibierenden Polysaccharids,- 0,05 bis 1 Gew.-% Xanthan,- 1 bis 20 Gew.-% Natriumsulfat und- 0,15 bis 20 Gew.-% eines Acrylsäurehomopolymers mit einem mittleren Molekulargewicht Mw von 1.200.
