  16. A piece of furniture or a household appliance, comprising at least one drawer element (25) which is mounted by way of pullout guides (1) in a body (24) and at least one synchronous guide comprising two stationary toothed racks (8), which are located opposite of each other and are respectively associated with a side member of the body, and into which gear wheels (9) engage that are interconnected via coupling rods (26), characterized in that the synchronous guide is designed according to one or more of the preceding claims.
