The invention relates to a floor panel with a device for connection to at least one further floor panel of the same kind on a substrate, wherein
  • the floor panels each have a first and a second profiled side surface opposite to each of which an abutment surface is arranged which is perpendicular to a tread surface or a base surface of the floor panel,
  • the impact surface merges into a groove running parallel to the tread surface along the side surface, which groove is delimited towards the tread surface by a groove flank,
  • protrudes over the abutment surface a locking arm, which has a bottom and terminates in a directed to the tread surface, approximately trapezoidal lip, which in turn has an inner surface facing the groove
  • in which in the groove an elongate, at least partially flexible, separate connector is inserted, which cooperates in the installed state with the side surface of an opposite floor panel,
  • wherein the connector in the undeformed state has approximately a gutter-shaped cross-section and has a curved wall,
  • the wall having a part-cylindrical inner surface at an edge of this inner surface - seen in a cross-section of the connector - merges into a head piece and on the other hand into a foot having a free side surface and a footprint,
  • the head piece in the fitted state of the connector at least partially presses against a first groove flank of the groove in the groove,
  • the side surface of the floor panel has an interlocking roller engaging with the interior space of the connector when joining floor panels into the interior space of the connector, which causes cooperation with the connector.

In DE 102 37 397 A1 different embodiments of an elastic, one- or two-part connector are shown with hollow chambers, which resembles a window sealing profile. In addition, the Fig. 5 an anchor-like, two-part connector can be seen in which a projecting over a side surface of a panel center web, called punch, engages in an interior space of a pressed into a groove of a second panel C-shaped profile with head. The profiled side surfaces of the two interconnected panels are substantially oblique to the tread or bottom surface of the panels, with the coupled portions of the connector directed perpendicularly to the side surfaces. Both parts of the connector are constructed mirror-symmetrically to its longitudinal axis. A disadvantage of a thus configured panel connection with two-piece connector according to Fig. 5 is that a subsequent separation of the interconnected floor panels is not feasible. Also, a connection of the floor panels together or their laying on a surface seems to be problematic, because a mounting in the horizontal direction impossible with the help of the known impact block and assembly with pivoting movement is very difficult.

Furthermore, it is off WO 2008/004960 a device for the connection of floor panels known to each other, in which in a round groove of an already laid floor panel (according to Figures 6a to 6d of WO 2008/004960 ) is inserted a boomerangartiger connector which is moved by a counter panel under leverage until a thicker edge of the connector - seen in cross-section of the panel connection - einspringt in a marginal compatible groove of the Gegenpaneels. The separate connector has the task to ensure the locking of the floor panels substantially perpendicular to the tread.

The task of horizontal locking takes over in a conventional manner, the locking arm with his lip. Although has the off WO 2008/004960 known connector via an additional, directed to the Gegenpaneel own lip. However, this only provides for an increase in the existing horizontal locking. A disadvantage of the WO 2008/004960 known device is that the connector prior to joining the two floor panels can relatively easily fall out of the attachment in the groove, especially if the material of the connector is resilient.

The object of the invention is to develop an alternative, generic, but simpler in their function and handling device for connecting polygonal, plate-shaped, mutually identical floor panels together using the separate connector.

This object is achieved by a device of the type mentioned, in which
  • the groove has a flat groove rear wall offset from the impact surface,
  • wherein the head piece is arranged on a flexible leg of the connector, so that when assembling floor panels, the head piece can be pivoted in the direction of the groove rear wall,
  • the inner surface of the lip is undercut with respect to the ground, so that the foot contacted with its side surface and with its base in the assembled state of the connector said inner surface and the bottom of the locking arm before and after the joining of the two floor panels.

In addition, a floor panel, which is pivoted down against the already laid, referred to as Gegenpaneel. The terms such as "top", "top", "bottom", "bottom", "below", "above", etc. refer to the laid on a substrate floor panels, as shown in the drawing. Furthermore, the separate connector is referred to as a profile. The base surface of the panel is the one that contacts the support surface.

In the floor panel according to the invention, a so-called hook connection is present, in which normally the hook connection forming parts, lip on the locking arm and directed to the bottom locking roller of the Gegenpaneels, ff should be tightly hooked together and the abutting surfaces of the two floor panels brought into surface contact with each other should be in order to secure the locking of the floor panels in the horizontal direction. For the known solution according to WO 2008/004960 This condition can be met even if the connector is removed from the groove. The separate connector according to WO 2008/004960 lies outside the surfaces that form the actual hook connection.

It is not to be overlooked that the hook connection in the solution according to the invention comes about only after the joining of the two floor panels, when the web-shaped foot is located between the inner surface of the lip and the locking roller engaged in the connector when the floor panels are joined. Should the connector be removed, there can be no question of a hook connection because of the resulting gap. In this position, the two floor panels would not be secured against each other before moving each other both in the horizontal and in the vertical direction. Of great advantage is that the profile according to the present invention can ensure a lock at the same time in both directions.

Preferably, the separate connector according to the invention is made of plastic. Plastics for the connector include thermoplastics, such as polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polystyrene (PS), polyamides (PA), polycarbonates (PC), Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and others, as well as so-called engineering plastics, such as styrene copolymers (ABS), polyamides (PA), polycarbonates (PC), polyethylene terephthalate (PET), polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA), polyoxymethylene (POM), fluoroplastics (Teflon), polyurethanes (PUR) in question. Also known per se elastomers can be used.

The profile can also be made of so-called integral plastics. Such a profile may for example have a hard foot and a relatively soft, adjoining the head leg. In this case, the head piece and the foot can be made stiffer than the legal material of the profile.

Furthermore, the profile can be made of metal, wood material or composite.

The separate connector according to the invention is referred to as approximately gutter-shaped, since it has a round, part-cylindrical inner surface, a beaded head and a head piece opposite, extending along the profile web or foot similar to a conventional gutter.

In this case, the foot may be web-shaped and / or solid, wherein it is of crucial importance that this has a sloping side surface, the angle of inclination to its footprint corresponds to said sharp angle at the lip. Thus, the foot and the lower part of the einmontierten profile almost form-fitting, before and after the lowering of the Gegenpaneels, abut the locking arm.

The profile may be elastically deformable at least in its leg region. The elasticity of the profile may be assisted by corresponding constrictions or gentle transitions of the leg to the foot.

The head piece may have a strip-shaped, planar, in the inserted state of the first groove flank facing, first sliding surface, which in turn continues in a second, downwardly facing, inclined sliding surface.

Preferably, the first, upper groove flank of the groove for receiving the separate connector runs parallel and a second, lower groove flank extends obliquely to the base surface of the floor panel, wherein the lower groove flank merges into the bottom of the locking arm. The two groove sides adjoin a groove wall arranged perpendicular to the tread surface said groove. The groove configured in this way provides sufficient space for pivoting the head piece. The flat sliding surface of the head piece remains in the not by the lowering counter-panel caused, tensioned state in surface contact with the upper groove flank or presses against them.

The entire sliding surface of the head piece can - as seen in cross-section of the profile - be at least partially rounded.

The bottom of the locking arm is preferably parallel to the base surface and then forms a support surface for the foot and for the lower part of the wall of the connector. To accommodate a massive foot whose flat footprint extends wider than that of the web-shaped foot, in particular a flat or stepped floor is suitable.

At the bottom of the locking arm, at least one trough-shaped seat extending parallel to the groove can be incorporated, which is preferably located approximately in the middle of the floor, in any case outside the lower inclined groove flank. At the seat, the lower part of the inserted profile can nestle or support. For all embodiments of the einmontierten profile according to the invention thus applies the principle of three contact surfaces of the profile with the lower floor panel, namely with the inclined inner surface of the lip, with the bottom of the locking arm and with the upper groove flank. The defined profile sits securely on the side surface of the lower floor panel and has little chance to solve on its own.

When the floor panel is lowered in the direction of the floor of the already laid floor panel, the head piece can exert a rotary movement about the seat or a gradation of the floor. In this case, the foot of the connector can remain immovable in its position on the inner surface of the lip.

The profiles can be pressed into the existing groove of the floor panel manually or mechanically or with the aid of a machine at the factory. The provided with the profiles floor panels can be stored and distributed in this form.

If the profile is made of plastic, it can be cheaply made available as a mass-produced article.

The profiles according to the invention are essentially intended for the narrow edges of the floor panels. However, you can also be integrated in the longer side surfaces of the floor panels, if they are adapted to the separate connector accordingly.

It is advantageous if a pressure surface arranged obliquely opposite the tread surface is introduced on the locking roller located on the counter panel, with which pressure is exerted on the flat, but especially on the bevelled sliding surface of the head piece. The oblique pressure surface of the downward locking roller is at an angle = 45 °, preferably 60 ° - ± 10 ° relative to the tread. This angle ensures optimum sliding of the locking roller on the head piece, without the head piece can fall out of the groove.

The locking roller may transition into a recessed position opposite the upper abutment surface of the mating panel, such that a sharp, approximately V-shaped, transition to receive the header is formed.

As such, the floor panels can be made of plastic, metal, wood-based material, paper or other renewable raw materials, such as cork. The floor panels can be made in solid or layered construction, such as known HDF or MDF panels, and have a wood or tile decor, which is covered with at least one layer of a transparent or translucent synthetic resin. The floor panels may be equipped with antibacterial and / or fire retardants.

The FIGS. 1, 2 and 17 show details of two identical floor panels 1.1, 1.2 before and after the pivoting down of the floor panel 1.2 (counter panel) in the direction of the substrate 11, to which the floor panel 1.1 is already laid. Characteristic of the figures is the lack of a separate connector, which will be described in detail below.

The two floor panels 1.1, 1.2 each consist of a wear layer 39, a bottom layer 40 and an intermediate core layer 38 of wood material. The wear layer 39 is provided with a decorative layer 41, the Surface forms a tread surface 6. The bottom layer 40 in turn has a base surface 26 which contacts the substrate 11 (see FIG FIG. 6 ).

The floor panel 1.1 is characterized by a profiled, by the tread and base surfaces 6, 26 limited side surface 8.1, comprising an abutment surface 7.1, a respect to the abutment surface recessed groove 9 and a projecting beyond the abutment surface 7.1 locking arm 14 with an upwardly projecting lip 15th

The groove 9 is trapezoidal and has a relation to the abutting surface 7.1 recessed Nutrückwand 10, which is arranged parallel to the impact surface 7.1 and terminates in an upper, parallel to the tread surface 6 groove flank 13 and an obliquely directed lower groove flank 23. The latter in turn goes into a lying parallel to the base surface 26 bottom 35 of the locking arm 14, wherein centered to the bottom 35 a trough-shaped seat 36 is milled.

The lip 15 of the locking arm 14 is trapezoidal and tapers in the direction of the bottom layer 40 such that an inner surface 17 inclined at a sharp angle α to the bottom 35 is formed on the lip. The angle α is in the present case between 80 ° and 85 °.

Die Schräge 19 bildet zusammen mit der Verriegelungswalze 20 einen tiefen, scharfen, V-förmigen Übergang 25.The floor panel 1.2 is characterized by a profiled, limited by the tread and base surfaces 6, 26 side surface 8.2, comprising an abutment surface 7.2, opposite the abutment surface 7.2 recessed slope 19 and a downward locking roller 20. The slope 19 forms together with the locking roller 20 a deep, sharp, V-shaped transition 25.

On the locking roller 20, a pressing surface 21 is milled, which forms an angle 60 ° with the tread surface 6 and is arranged approximately parallel to the slope 19. The locking roller 20 connects to a downwardly open recess 37 for receiving the lip 15 of the floor panel 1.1.

In Fig. 17 is a relatively wide column S between the locking roller 20 and the lip 15 to see, with the two abutting surfaces 7.1, 7.2 contact each other. The floor panels 1.1, 1.2 are locked with each other neither in the horizontal, nor in the vertical direction.

A similar situation as in the laid on the substrate 11 floor panels 1.1, 1.2 is the Fig. 7 refer to. However, here a separate connector 2.1 (profile) is used, such that the column S (see. Fig. 17 ) is completely filled by a web-shaped foot 12 of the profile. The floor panels 1.1, 1.2 together with the inserted profile 2.1 form a device 100 in which the connector profile brings about a locking in both directions (arrows X, Y).

Fig. 16) bestimmt. The approximately gutter-shaped profile 2.1 (see. FIGS. 8 and 9 ) has a cross-section Q1 on which a part-cylindrical inner surface 4, an equally part-cylindrical outer surface 28, a head piece 5 and the foot 12 can be seen. The inner and outer surfaces 4, 28 define a channel-shaped wall 3, which extends from the head piece 5 to the foot 12. This in Fig. 9 Profiles 2.1 shown are relatively short and therefore for the narrow sides of the floor panels (see. Fig. 16 ) certainly. Its length L corresponds essentially to the extent of the narrow side or is slightly smaller. An in Fig. 16 schematically indicated floor 34 is composed of several above-described floor panels 1.1, 1.2 together, which are locked at their narrow sides on the separate connector and on the long sides over conventional tongue and groove connections, not shown.

Fig. 2) gleich ist. The foot 12 has an inclined side surface 24, the angle of inclination of the angle α (see. Fig. 2 ) is equal to. Furthermore, the foot 12 has a base 27 and an upper edge 16 opposite the base 27, which adjoins the part-cylindrical inner surface 4.

An essential feature of the head piece 5 is its upper sliding surface 18, which is bounded on the inside by a further oblique sliding surface 22.

The pressed into the floor panel 1.1 profile 2.1 is also in FIGS. 3 and 4 shown. The head piece 5 is in contact with the upper groove flank 13 and protrudes beyond the impact surface 7.1. The foot 12 is supported with its base 27 at the bottom 35 and with its side surface 24 on the inner surface 17 of the lip 15 from. The wall 3 in turn is supported with its arcuate, lower portion or segment 42 on the seat 36. In this way, the profile 2.1 is fixed to the floor panel 1.1 and secured against falling out.

As the Fig. 4 shows, reaching up to the segment 42 leg 43 of the wall 3 is flexible. Since the leg 43 carries the head piece 5, the latter is also opposite the segment 42 pivotally mounted or rotatably arranged.

Fig. 16) gedreht. Fig. 5). In FIGS. 5, 6 and 16 is shown the pivoting down of the Gegenpaneels 1.2 on the substrate 11. The Gegenpaneel is about the pivot axis A (see. Fig. 16 ) turned. In the in Fig. 5 shown position, the locking roller 20 moves down and slides almost over the abutment surface 7.1 of the already laid floor panel 1.1 until it abuts with its oblique pressing surface 21 against the head piece 5 (see. Fig. 5 ). Thereafter, the locking roller 20 slides with its Andrückfläche 21 over in Fig. 8 shown sliding surfaces 22, 18 of the head piece, until it is pivoted in the direction Nutrückwand 10 and enters the in Fig. 7 shown locking position in which the head piece 5 in the V-shaped transition 25 of the slope 19 to the locking roller 20.

In this case, the profile is 2.1 when swinging down the Gegenpaneels 1.2 in the direction of the floor 35 of the already laid floor panel 1.1 torsion, in which the head piece 5 is gradually rotated so that first one of the pivot axis A of the floor panel facing end 31 and then a second end 32 of the profile completely passes under the upper groove flank 13. Under torsion in the present case, the twisting of only a part of the profile, namely the leg 43 and the head piece 5 should be understood while the foot 12 remains immobile in its position.

The Fig. 10 shows a connector 2.2, which is similar to the connector 2.1 is constructed with the difference that instead of a web-shaped a solid foot 30 is provided is. This shows a cross section Q2 of the profile, in which the footprint 27 of the solid foot 30 extends to the segment 42. The profile 2.2 can be used instead of the profile 2.1 (not shown).

Another similar embodiment (reference number 2.3) shows a cross section Q3 of the profile in FIG Fig. 11 , The wall 3 has at its central segment 42 a flat lower surface 29. An unillustrated bottom of the locking arm 14 has an adapted seat for the profile 2.3 (not shown).

The Fig. 12 shows a cross section Q4 of another profile 2.4, in which the solid foot 30 connects via a lower base portion 44 of the profile to the arcuate, pivotable leg 43, such that the lower, flat base 27 extends to the said leg 43. According to Fig. 13 the profile 2.4 is placed with its base 27 on the flat bottom 35 of the locking arm 14. The width of the bottom 35 is equal to the base 27. Thus, the leg 43 is pivotable about a transition region 45 of the profile, which corresponds to the transition of the bottom 35 in the inclined groove flank 23.

Fig. 15). Finally, the shows Fig. 14 a cross section Q5 of another profile 2.5, which is almost identical to the profile 2.4. The transition region 45 of the profile is stepped such that its lower base part 44 is compatible with the flat bottom 35 (cf. Fig. 15 ). The bottom 35 goes over a gradation 33 in the lower, sloping groove edge 23 over.

Claims (7)

  1. Floor panel (1.1) having an arrangement (100) for connection to at least one further floor panel (1.2) of the same type on a substrate (11), wherein
    - the floor panels (1.1, 1.2) have a first and a second profiled side surface (8.1; 8.2) respectively, located oppositely, on which a respective abutment surface (7.1; 7.2) is disposed which lies perpendicular to a walking surface (6) or a base surface (26) of the floor panel;
    - the abutment surface (7.1) of the first side surface (8.1) merges into a groove (9) extending in parallel with the walking surface (6) along the side surface, which groove is defined towards the walking surface (6) by a groove flank (13);
    - a locking arm (14) protrudes beyond the abutment surface (7.1) of the first side surface (8.1) and has a base (35) and runs out into an approximately trapezoidal lip (15) directed towards the walking surface (6), which lip in turn has an inner surface (17) facing the groove (9);
    - in which an elongate, at least partially flexible, separate connector (2.1; 2.2; 2.3; 2.4; 2.5) is let into the groove (9) and, in the laid condition, cooperates with the second side surface (8.2) of an opposing floor panel,
    - wherein the connector (2.1; 2.2; 2.3; 2.4; 2.5) in the undeformed condition has a cross-section approaching a gutter shape and has a curved wall (3);
    - the wall (3) - when seen in a cross-section (Q1; Q2; Q3; Q4) of the connector - merges with a part-cylindrical inner surface (4) at an edge of this inner surface into a head piece (5) and on the other hand into a foot (12; 30) which has a free side surface (24) and a standing surface (27);
    - in the condition where the connector (2.1; 2.2; 2.3; 2.4; 2.5) is fitted into the groove, the head piece (5) at least partially presses against a first groove flank (13) of the groove (9);
    - the second side surface (8.2) of the floor panel (1.1, 1.2) has a locking roll (20) engaging into the inner chamber, clamped by the inner surface of the connector (2.1; 2.2; 2.3; 2.4; 2.5), when the floor panels (1.1, 1.2) are being fitted together, which locking roll causes cooperation with the connector (2.1; 2.2; 2.3; 2.4; 2.5);
    characterised in that
    - the groove (9) has a planar groove rear wall (10) set back with respect to the abutment surface (7.1) of the first side surface,
    - wherein the head piece (5) is disposed on a flexible limb (43) of the connector (2.1; 2.2; 2.3; 2.4; 2.5) so that, when floor panels (1.1, 1.2) are being fitting together the head piece (5) can be pivoted in the direction of the groove rear wall (10);
    - the inner surface (17) of the lip (15) is undercut with respect to the base (35) so that, with its side surface (24) and with its standing surface (27) when the connector is in the mounted condition, the foot (12; 30) contacts the said inner surface (17) and the base (35) of the locking arm (14) before and after the two floor panels (1.1, 1.2) are fitted together.
  2. Floor panel as claimed in claim 1, characterised in that when the floor panel (1.2) is pivoted downwards in the direction of the base (35) of the already-laid floor panel (1.1) the foot (12; 30) of the connector remains immoveable.
