Claims (5)

  1. A switch for railway systems, comprising a first and second wing rail (2, 3), a frog (1) whose point (1a) is movable between a first position resting on a first wing rail (2) and a second position resting on the second wing rail (3), a supporting surface (4) for supporting the frog point (1a) in the first and second position, a strap (5) with running tracks (11a, 11b), and rollers (9a, 9b), wherein the frog point (1a) rests on the strap (5) which is respectively mounted outside of the first and the second Wing rail (2, 3) in the region of supporting sections (7a, 7b) on one of the rollers (9a, 9b), wherein the rollers (9a, 9b) respectively roll off on one of the running tracks (11a, 11b), and at least one running track (11a, 11b) comprises lowered end sections (12a, 13a; 12b, 13b) in order to lift the frog point (1a) from the supporting surface (4) during the movement between the first position and the second position, characterised in that the strap (5) extends beneath the first and second wing rail (2, 3), and the strap (5) has a base (6) which comprises in its middle region a receptacle (8) for the frog (1) in order to transmit the forces by the strap (5) without interconnecting further components during the throwing of the switch, and the base (6) is lowered in relation to the laterally adjoining supporting sections (7a, 7b).
  2. A switch according to claim 1, characterised in that the at least one running track (11a, 11b) comprises an elevated section (14a, 14b) which is bounded by pressing edges (15), on which the roller (9a, 9b) rests in the first and the second position.
  3. A switch according to claim 2, characterised in that the elevated section (14a, 14b) is arranged as a rectangular projection whose height (H) is between 5% and 20%, preferably between 8% and 12%, of the width (B).
  4. A switch according to one of the claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the running tracks (11a, 11b) roll off in a groove (16) of the rollers (9a, 9b).
  5. A switch according to one of the claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the strap (5) is arranged between two sleepers (17a, 17b).
