Claims (8)

  1. Bearing element of an underspringing arrangement for furniture for sitting on or lying on, having a carrying element with a base part and at least two arms extending radially and obliquely upwards from the base part in the direction of a rigid bearing plate, wherein each arm is subdivided into a more or less rigid carrying-arm portion (2), which extends from the base part (11) to over half the overall length of the arm, and an elastic carrying-spring portion (3), which adjoins the carrying-arm portion (2), and the carrying-spring portions (3) are formed back inwards and upwards and the upper inwardly directed ends thereof carry the bearing plate (1), and wherein the bearing plate (1) and the carrying element with the foot part (11) and arms are formed in one piece and are co-injection moulded from the same material or different materials, characterized in that each carrying-spring portion (3) is divided up into two arcuate springs (9) formed on either side of a centre axis of the arm.
  2. Bearing element according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the rigid carrying-arm portions (2), as seen over their length starting from the base part (11), are curved radially outwards and upwards over approximately the first half of their length and in the second half of their length, being curved back outwards and downwards beyond a horizontal tangential surface (7), are designed as flat wide crosspieces which are stabilized against flexing via inner lower stiffening ribs (5) and/or outer upper stiffening ribs (4).
  3. Bearing element according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that a hardness-adjusting means (6) either can be arranged at a fixed location on the bearing plate (1) or is mounted for rotation thereon and, in a blocking position, at least in the loaded state of the bearing element (1), is supported on the rigid carrying-arm portions (2) by way of supporting arms (8).
  4. Bearing element according to Claim 3, characterized in that the supporting arms (8) rest on the horizontal tangential surfaces (7) of the carrying-arm portions (2).
  5. Bearing element according to one or both of preceding Claims 3 and 4, characterized in that, in the case of a hardness-adjusting means (6) being mounted for rotation, the supporting arms (8) are designed in a spoon-like manner with rounded lateral run-on surfaces (10).
  6. Bearing element according to one of preceding Claims 3 to 5, characterized in that the rotatably mounted hardness-adjusting means (6) is of disc-form design and is clipped in apertures in the bearing plate (1) from above and has upper bearing surfaces (12; 14) and mutual supporting surfaces (15; 25) in common with the bearing plate, and also has lateral blocking extensions (21) on the supporting arms (8), these extensions engaging beneath the bearing plate (1) following elastic deformation during assembly.
  7. Bearing element according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that a latching member (13) in the form of an upside-down T extends downwards from the base part (11) and has latching notches (16) in its end sides.
  8. Transverse slat made of plastics material for the arrangement of a bearing element according to one of the preceding claims, or of other bearing elements, characterized in that it is of cross-sectionally undulating design with a widened central vertex surface (18) and latching devices for the latching members (13) of the base parts (11) are provided therein, these latching devices having lateral stop surfaces (20) and end-side catches (22) for locking the latching members (13), and thus the bearing elements, against rotation.
