Press tool for trimming and raising the same edge of a metal sheet (30) in a single operation, which comprises a bottom part (20), a top part (10) able to move in translation with respect to the bottom part (20) so as to be able to grip said edge of a metal sheet (30), a tool (13) for trimming said edge of a metal sheet, secured to the top part (10) and able to shear the edge of the sheet metal (30) while cooperating with a counter-blade secured to the bottom part (20), and a tool (23) for lifting the edge of the trimmed metal sheet, secured to the bottom part (20) and profiled so as to cooperate by agreement of shapes with a corresponding shape (12b) on the top part (10) so as to lift the edge of the metal sheet (30) when the translation movement of the top part (10) against the bottom part (20) is continued after the trimming, the top part (10) consisting of a top frame (11) and a movable presser (12) able to slide with respect to said top frame (11), said movable presser (12) comprising at least one surface (12e; 12f) for gripping the edge of the metal sheet (30) to be trimmed, characterised in that the bottom part (20) is formed by a bottom frame (21) and a movable bottom (22) able to slide with respect to said bottom frame (21), said movable bottom (22) comprising at least one surface (22e; 22f) for supporting the edge of the metal sheet (30) to be trimmed.
  2. Tool according to claim 1, characterised in that said counter-blade is formed by a top edge (24a) of the edge lifting tool (23).
  3. Tool according to claim 1, characterised in that said corresponding shape of the top part (10) serving for lifting the edge (30b) of the metal sheet (30) is formed by an inclined face (12b) of the surface (12f) for gripping the edge of the metal sheet, with the same inclination as the profile (24b) of the lifting tool (23).
  4. Tool according to claim 1, characterised in that the movable presser (12) is connected to the top frame (11) by springs (15) that compress when the edge of the metal sheet (30) to be trimmed is gripped.
  5. Tool according to claim 1, characterised in that the movable bottom (22) is connected to the bottom frame (21) by springs (25) that compress during the phase of lifting the edge (30b) of the metal sheet (30).
  6. Tool according to claim 1, characterised in that the sliding of the movable presser (12) with respect to the top frame (11) and the sliding of the movable bottom (22) with respect to the bottom frame (21) are obtained by means of vertical runners (11a, 12a; 21 a, 22a).
  7. Method for trimming and lifting the same edge of a metal sheet in a single operation, which uses a tool according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterised by the following steps, taken in combination:
    - the metal sheet (30) is placed on the bottom part (20) of said tool;
    - the top part (10) is lowered, which comes into contact with the bottom part (20) in order to grip the metal sheet (30) under the effect of the springs of the top part, which are weaker than those of the bottom part,
    - the descent movement of the top part (10) of the tool is continued, which causes the trimming of said metal sheet (30),
    - when the springs of the top part arrive at the end of travel, the top part behaves as if it were fixed and then compresses the springs of the bottom part, and the same descent movement of the top part (10) of the tool is again continued, which then causes the lifting of the edge (30b) of the trimmed metal sheet (30).
  8. Method according to claim 7, characterised in that, the edge (30b) of the metal sheet (30) being lifted, the top part (10) arrives at the end of travel of the press and then commences its rising again, in order to proceed with a new operation of trimming and lifting the same edge of another metal sheet.
  9. Method according to either one of claims 7 and 8, characterised in that it applies to the metal sheets constituting motor vehicle roofs with integral rear gutter.
