Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Scheinwerfer (1) für Fahrzeuge mit einem Reflektor (3), einer Linse und einer zwischen dem Reflektor (3) und der Linse angeordneten Blendenwelle (11), welche um eine horizontale und quer zur optischen Achse (200) verlaufende Drehachse (100) in zwei oder mehr Drehstellungen verstellbar ist, und wobei die Mantelfläche (12) der Blendenwelle (11) für jede Drehstellung zumindest jeweils eine Brennlinie (20, 21, 22) aufweist, welche eine Hell-Dunkel-Grenze (1001, 2001, 4001) einer Lichtverteilung (1000, 2000, 4000) erzeugt, wobei die Blendenwelle (11) zwischen einer Brennlinie (21) für eine abgeblendete Lichtverteilung (2000) und einer Brennlinie (22) für eine Fernlichtverteilung (4000), wobei die Brennlinie (22) für Fernlicht einen geringeren Normalabstand zu der Drehachse (100) aufweist, als die Brennlinie (21) für abgeblendetes Licht, keine Brennlinie bzw. keine Mantelfläche aufweist, wobei in einem mittleren Bereich der Blendenwelle (11), in Bezug auf die Längserstreckung der Blendenwelle (11) entlang ihrer Drehachse (100) gesehen, anschlie-βend an die Brennlinie (21) für abgeblendetes Licht, ein sich von der Brennlinie (21) für abgeblendetes Licht und in etwa in Umfangs- bzw. Drehrichtung der Blendenwelle (11) eines gedachten Zylindermantels (50) weg erstreckender Vorsprung (60) vorgesehen ist, wobei der Normalabstand des gedachten Zylindermantels (50) zu der Drehachse (100) kleiner oder gleich ist als der Normalabstand der zylinderförmigen Mantelfläche (51) der Blendenwelle (11), in welcher jener Abschnitt der Brennlinie (21) für abgeblendetes Licht liegt, welcher den geringsten Abstand zu der Drehachse (100) aufweist.
