Claims (1)

  1. Method for producing a piston (13) of a door drive,
    characterized by the steps of:
    - placing an insert (6), which comprises two end plates (7), a supporting bar (8) arranged between the end plates (7) and a toothing bar (9), into a mould cavity (1) of an injection mould,
    - placing a toothing (10) of the toothing bar (9) of the insert (6) against a corresponding toothing (5) of a core (3) in the mould cavity (1),
    - closing the injection mould,
    - injecting the plastic (14) through at least one feed channel (4.1, 4.2), preferably through at least two feed channels (4.1, 4.2) that are arranged spaced apart along the extent of the toothing bar (9) and are directed in the direction of the toothing bar (9), whereby the toothing (10) of the toothing bar (9) lies flush and without a gap against the toothing (5) of the core (3) and the toothing (10) of the toothing bar (9) that is up against the toothing (5) of the core (3) remains completely free of plastic (14);
    - opening the injection mould and removing the overmoulded piston (13).
