Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Laufflächenbelag (3) für einen Langlaufschi oder gattungsähnlichen Schi, welcher Laufflächenbelag (3) innerhalb eines Teilabschnittes (5) seiner Länge ein rückgleithemmendes Steighilfeprofil (6) aufweist, welches eine Vielzahl von in Längsrichtung des Laufflächenbelags (3) aufeinanderfolgender Stufenprofile (9) umfasst, welche im Längsschnitt durch den Laufflächenbelag (3) sägezahnartig ausgebildet sind. Dabei ist vorgesehen, dass eine quer zur Längsrichtung des Laufflächenbelags (3) verlaufende Flankenhöhe der sägezahnartigen Stufenprofile (9) in Bezug auf die Längsrichtung des Laufflächenbelags (3) kontinuierlich oder diskontinuierlich zu- oder abnimmt. Ferner ist ein mit diesem Laufflächenbelag (3) ausgestatteter Langlaufschi oder gattungsähnlicher Schi angegeben. Durch die erfindungsgemäßen Maßnahmen wird ein verbessertes Verhältnis zwischen dem Gleit- und Abstoßverhalten des Laufflächenbelags (3) erzielt.
