Description

The invention relates to a support adapter for fixing insulation panels to a building surface.

In the DE 10 2004 035 249 B3 describes a process with which thermal insulation panels are permanently bonded to a substrate such as masonry with the aid of PU foam. For this purpose, for example, a PU foam is applied to the dampened thermal insulation board to be attached, which is made of polystyrene, polyurethane or mineral foam, for example, and then pressed onto the masonry together with the PU foam. At room temperature, the PU foam hardens after approx. 10 to 20 minutes. The thermal insulation board now adheres firmly to the masonry. During the hardening process of the PU foam, the thermal insulation panel is only loosely attached to the wall. During this phase, the plate can unintentionally shift across or perpendicular to the masonry.

From the EP 1 640 521 B1 a method is known in which, in addition to gluing the thermal insulation board, one to two additional mechanical fixing means are provided per board. The single fixation consists of a right-angled plastic bracket and at least one plastic nail. One leg of the plastic angle has an adhesive surface on the outside. The other leg has some holes that lead to low backlash Are provided through the plastic nails. As soon as the thermal insulation board covered with adhesive foam is in its final position in front of the wall, the plastic angle is placed on its narrow upper end face in such a way that the adhesive surface of one leg adheres to the wall and the other leg, which has holes, lies flat on the upper end face . Now the thermal insulation panel is fixed to this leg using at least one plastic nail. The center line of the plastic nail is oriented at least approximately parallel to the adhesive assembly joint.

As a rule, only a narrow end face can be fixed with this method. If there are at least two other narrow end faces, circular form-fitting contours are required for fixation. In addition, wide cavities are required at the joints between adjacent panels, which leave room for the legs to be nailed on. In the area of these cavities, which extend over the entire length of the insulating board according to the exemplary embodiments shown, the thermal insulation is around 40% thinner than at the other points. As a result, these areas appear as dark stripes on a plastered, light-colored wall over time.

From the DE 195 13 206 C2 an at least two-part fastening element for mounting insulating material on duct walls of ventilation ducts is known. The fastening element consists of a foot element and a retaining cap. On the underside of its base plate, the foot element has, for example, an adhesive film with which it is glued to the duct wall. The retaining pin formed on the base plate has a locking ring in its end area. To attach the insulating material, this is pushed onto the retaining pin until the locking ring protrudes from the mineral fiber board. onto the retaining pin the plate-like retaining cap is inserted, which latches positively on the locking ring.

In the DE 299 19 360 U1 describes a fastening element for insulating boards, which consists of a base plate which can be bonded to the building wall side and has two barbs protruding perpendicularly. The insulation boards are attached to the barbs, which have a rectangular cross-section.

The holder consists of a base plate and a arbor arranged on it. The holder is a perforated plate that is nailed, screwed or glued to the wall. The arbor onto which the fiberboard is pressed is a multi-barbed pin.

The present invention is based on the problem of developing a support adapter with which insulating panels can be securely fixed to a building wall, at least for a short time, without them getting caught in one another at least in certain areas.

Dieser mindestens eine einzelneThis problem is solved with the features of claims 1 and 7. For this purpose, it consists of a base body and at least one smooth pin which is formed on the front side and has a cylindrical holding area and a tip area. The tip area tapers from the holding area. The rear of the base body has an at least partially flat surface. The at least one pin is oriented normal to the plane of the surface, with the centerline of the pin having a zero to three angular degree deviation from the normal. This at least one single

The pin has a support area and/or the base body has a support structure to ensure a minimum distance between the insulation panels and the front side of the base body, which is necessary to produce the required adhesive strength of the adhesive foam. The base body has an adhesive layer on the back for secure fixation during the installation of the insulation boards and the curing of the adhesive foam.

Claim 7 indicates the use of the support adapter in that the adhesive layers of the same hold it briefly during assembly of the insulation board and for the time in which the adhesive foam hardens.

With the invention, a support adapter is made available, which consists at least of a base body that is plate-shaped at least in some areas and a pin that projects vertically and is sharpened and formed thereon. At least one support adapter, usually two, three or more, fixes a thermal insulation panel to be mounted on a building wall with adhesive foam, at least for the time in which the adhesive foam hardens, i.e. the adhesive foam is not able to securely close the thermal insulation panel keep. For this purpose, the support adapters are fixed on the one hand by inserting the pin(s) vertically or almost vertically into the thermal insulation panel to be supported. The base body sticks to the building wall with an adhesive layer.

Provided that the adhesive foam is applied professionally - i.e. the moisture required for curing is made available - the support adapters easily fix the insulation panels while the adhesive foam is curing. It is then impossible for the thermal insulation panels to be pushed away or dented by post-expansion of the adhesive foam.

The building surfaces to which the thermal insulation panels can be fixed are the surfaces of walls, ceilings and floors of a respective building. The support adapters can be used for pre-fixing both inside and outside of the respective building.

The thermal insulation panels can be made of plastic foams, e.g. based on polystyrene, polyurethane or PVC, with various geometrical dimensions. Also thermal insulation panels are conceivable, which are made of a glass or a rock foam.

If the support adapter is arranged on an above-average rough surface, a hot-melt adhesive to be applied by melting can also be applied to the adhesive layer.

The support adapter (1) consists of a base body (10) and, for example, three pins (30, 31). The pins (30, 31) are formed on the base body (10). The support adapter (1), which is equipped with an adhesive layer (50) on the back, is used for at least temporarily fixing thermal insulation panels (5, 6) mounted on a building wall (98) by means of adhesive foam (8), cf. Figures 4 and 5 . After the adhesive foam (8) has hardened, it permanently fixes the thermal insulation panel (5, 6) to the building wall (98).

Figuren 7 und 8.The base body (10) is essentially an at least approximately flat plate (11) with a constant wall thickness, for example. The plate dimensions here are 40 mm * 40 mm * 3 mm. From the flat front (13), the pins (30, 31) are perpendicular. The base body (10) or the plate (11) can also be round, oval, elliptical, rectangular, cf. figure 9 , a hexagonal, cf. figure 7 , have a triangular or other shaped border. If necessary, the base body (10) can also have one or more recesses, cf. Figures 7 and 8 .

Each pin (30) is divided into three sections: a holding section (35), a tip section (36) and a support section (33). The support area (33) is formed directly on the plate (11). It has the shape of a cylinder that is, for example, 5 mm short and has a diameter of 8 mm. In the transition zone oriented towards the plate, the support area (33) has a rounded foot (34), the radius of which is, for example, 2 mm. The support area (33) is intended to prevent the thermal insulation board (5, 6), hereinafter referred to simply as the insulation board, from being pressed so far against the front side (13) of the base body (10) that the surface facing the building wall (98). the insulation board (5, 6), cf. figure 5 , rests directly on the front (13). The support adapter (1) thus ensures a minimum distance from the wall of the insulating board (5, 6). According to the execution, this amounts to figure 5 here eg 8 mm. Due to this minimum wall distance (19), the adhesive foam (8) has at least the majority of the depth that is necessary to produce the required adhesive force.

If several pins (30, 31) are used per base body (10), only some of the pins (30, 31) need to have a support area (33).

The cylindrical holding area (35) adjoins the support area (33). With a diameter of 5.5 mm, its length is 27 mm, for example. The holding area (35) has a relatively smooth surface with a mean roughness value Ra of less than 0.5 μm. As a rule, pins (30, 31) of the same length are used for each support adapter (1-4). However, it is also possible to stagger the pins per support adapter (1 - 4) according to length. For example, the first pin can be 25 mm long, while the second is 30 mm long and the third has a length of 35 mm.

The size of the support adapter can be based on the size of the insulation board. For very large-area insulation panels, the insulation area of which is larger than one square meter, the area and thickness of the base body, the diameter and the length of the pins can be selected larger than in the exemplary embodiments shown for the support adapter. However, the length of the pins should always be shorter than the wall thickness of the corresponding insulation board.

Each pin (30, 31) has a tip area (36) at its free end. After figure 1 the tip area (36) represents a straight cone. The cone has a tip angle of, for example, 63 degrees. The mean roughness value Ra of the cone surface corresponds to that of the holding area (35). The transition zone (38) between the holding area (35) and the tip area (36) may be rounded off, cf. figure 8 , so that the tip area (36) merges harmoniously into the holding area (35). Instead of the conical tip area (36), which ends in a possibly also rounded tip (37), a pyramidal, tetrahedron-shaped or lance-shaped tip area (36) can also be used, for example. In the case of the lance-shaped tip area (36), the center line of the tip area (36) can assume an angle of, for example, 5 to 15 degrees with respect to the center line of the holding area.

For each pin (30), the support area (33), the holding area (35) and the tip area (36) each have a common one center line (32). The center lines (32) of all the pins (30, 31) of a base body (10) run parallel to one another, cf. figure 3 . You lie on the coat (39) of a fictitious cylinder, whose diameter after figure 2 is approx. 29 mm.

If necessary, the cylinder jacket (39) can be replaced by a truncated cone jacket, the diameter of which increases with increasing distance from the base plate (10). The cone angle of the truncated cone has, for example, a cone angle of 1 to 3 degrees. It is possible to make the center lines of the pins curved so that the mantle forms part of a solid of revolution. Such a body of revolution would be, for example, a torus, a paraboloid of revolution, a barrel, an ellipsoid, a sphere or other bodies or surfaces that obey Guldin's rule.

Diese Buchstabentiefe entspricht der Länge der stifteigenen Stützbereiche (33).To Figure 1 and 2 lettering is arranged on the front side (13) of the base body (10) between the pins (30). The lettering, which includes the sequence of letters "room", for example, forms a raised supporting structure (15). The support structure (15) has after figure 3 a letter depth of 5 mm. This letter depth corresponds to the length of the pen's own support areas (33).

Figur 6.The support structure (15) can also be a bar with the shape of any curve instead of lettering. The latter is, for example, a wavy line, a ring, a cross or even just a group of two or more parallel webs, for example. The support structure (15) is also conceivable as a plate bulge (16), the highest point of the plate bulge, which can also represent a flat surface, lying between the pins (31), cf. figure 6 .

In the case of support adapters (1) that have this (16) or another support structure (15), the support areas (33) of the pins (30) can optionally be omitted, cf. figure 6 . However, this does not shorten the length of the pins (31).

The base body (10) has an almost flat back (14) here. It forms a flat surface at least in some areas. In this case, the flat surface can consist of two or more individual surfaces spaced apart from one another. However, all individual surfaces lie in one plane.

The support adapter is made of a plastic, e.g. made of ABS or PA.

The flat surface of the back (14) is equipped with an adhesive layer (50), cf. figure 3 . The adhesive layer (50), the layer thickness of which is between one and two millimeters, is covered on its side facing away from the back (14) with a removable protective film (55). The elastic adhesive of the adhesive layer (50) adheres - at least for several hours - to most common building materials from which walls, ceilings or floors are made. It adheres to concrete, masonry made of natural stone, burnt and unburned stone, glass, building plaster, plaster and masonry binders, ceramic materials, metal, wood, plastic, cardboard, almost all paints and much more more if the building materials have reasonably dry surfaces that are almost free of dust and grease.

The adhesive layer (50) consists, for example, of a, on the back (14) of the base body (10) applied, highly viscous and permanently tacky adhesive by pressing on a solid ground sticks there. It is covered with a protective or peel-off film (55). In the embodiment according to Figures 1 to 3 the protective film (55) has a protruding pull tab (56). The latter has, for example, the area of half a circular disk, the diameter of which corresponds, for example, to half the width of the base body.

If necessary, the individual support adapters (1, 4) are arranged next to one another on double-sided adhesive tape. A gap of e.g. 0.5 to 1.5 mm is provided between the individual support adapters (1, 4) in order to endlessly join the support adapters (1, 4) to one another for deployment. The protective film (55) then serves as a so-called endless conveyor belt from which the support adapters (1, 4) are simply pulled off when used. The principle is known, for example, from rolled-up, self-adhesive postage stamps in packs of hundreds.

There are several ways of attaching an insulating panel (5, 6) to a building wall (98) with the aid of support adapters (1-4) and adhesive foam (8). In a first procedure, the support adapters (1 - 4) are inserted into the back of the insulation board (5) to be glued, cf. figure 10 . The insulating panel (5) has, for example, a length of 1000 mm, a width of 500 mm and a depth of 50 mm. The three after figure 10 Inserted support adapter (1) are, with their tips (37) in front, pressed just so deep into the insulating board (5), for example by hand, that they adhere there. Two of the support adapters (1) are inserted, for example, in the area of the upper edge of the insulating board, while in the area of the lower edge, for example, only one support adapter (1) sits approximately in the middle. After inserting the support adapter (1) and removing the protective film (55), the adhesive foam (8) is applied to the back of the insulating board (5) in a bead-like manner. In the example to figure 10 three beads of adhesive foam (9) are placed along the edge of the board. They remain about 2 to 3 cm away from the edge of the plate. For example, two at least approximately parallel adhesive foam beads (9) are placed in the middle panel area.

Alternatively, the adhesive foam (8) can also be applied to the insulating board (5) only at certain points, e.g. in the area of the board corners and the middle of the board. Any other pattern of adhesive foam application is also conceivable.

The insulating board (5) prepared with adhesive foam (8) is now applied to the surface (99) at a specific point on the building wall (98). The backs (14) of the support adapters (1), which are coated with adhesive, conform to the surface (99) in an adhesive manner. Using a spirit level and/or a straightedge, the insulating panel (5) is aligned in the horizontal and vertical directions while pressing against the building wall (98). When pressing on, the support adapters (1) are pushed further into the insulation board (5). By clinging firmly to the surface (99), the rear side (14) of the individual support adapter (1), which is equipped with the adhesive layer (50), is supported on the building wall (98) with adhesion. After the pressing and aligning process, the insulation panel (5) initially only adheres securely to the building wall (98) due to the adhesive forces of the individual support adapters (1).

Two adhesive forces come into effect here. The first adhesive force is that which acts between the wall surface (99) and the adhesive layer (50) of the base body (10). With a support adapter (1) according to the Figures 1 to 3 the adhesion to a normal, flat concrete surface is 80 to 250 N. Treating the substrate, eg by cleaning or applying a primer, can further increase the adhesion. On new plaster, the adhesive force is more than twice the 250 N.

The second adhesive force results from the insertion of the pins (30, 31) of the support adapters (1 - 4) into the insulating board (5, 6). The single smooth pin (30, 31) displaces the material of the insulating panel (5, 6) radially to the side when it is pressed in, so that the material around the pin (30, 31) is compressed. As a result, the pin (30, 31) is radially clamped. In addition to the clamping force, the smooth surface of the pin results in adhesive forces which counteract the pin (30, 31) being pulled out of the insulating board (5, 6).

The second adhesive force depends on the indentation depth of the pins (30, 31). In figure (18 ) the adhesive force F for two different insulation panels is shown in a diagram over the indentation depth t. For the measurements, the support adapter (1) according to the Figures 1 to 3 used. The first insulating panel, labeled "ESP 032 WDV", has a thermal conductivity of 0.032 W/mK and a density of 17.7 kg/m 3 . The second insulating board "ESP 035 WDV" has a thermal conductivity of 0.035 W/mK and a density of 23 kg/m 3 .

With an average penetration depth of the support adapter (1) of 20 mm, both insulation board types have a holding force of approx. 20 N. Since insulation boards with the dimensions 1000 mm * 500 mm * 50 mm are usually fixed with three support adapters (1), the necessary Holding force with a 33 percent safety margin is 40 N. With a panel weight of 3.9 N for the "ESP 032 WDV" panel and 5.1 N for the "ESP 035 WDV" panel, these panels remain in place with multiple security - including the applied adhesive foam - even hanging from a ceiling.

When the adhesive foam (8) hardens, it assumes the holding and/or carrying function of the support adapters (1 - 4). The latter usually no longer have any function.

In a second procedure, the insulating board (5, 6) equipped with the support adapters (1 - 4) is placed against the building wall (98) and pressed there while aligning, so that the support adapters (1 - 4) reach their final impression depth. However, the protective films (55) have not yet been removed from the support adapters (1 - 4). After alignment, the insulating board (5, 6) is taken off the building wall (98) again. The protective films (55) are removed from the support adapters (1 - 4) and the adhesive foam (8) is applied to the back of the insulating board (5, 6). Finally, the insulation panel (5, 6) is applied with little pressure to the building wall (98) in the intended position. Further alignment is no longer required.

In a third approach, three or more support adapters (1-4) are glued to the building wall (98) with their adhesive backing. They are arranged so that they are in the area that is covered by the insulation board (5, 6) to be bonded. Here the adhesive foam (8) is also applied directly to the building wall (98). Finally, the insulating board (5, 6) is positioned in front of the support adapters (1 - 4) and then pressed on using a spirit level and/or a straightedge, for example. Once the depth alignment has reached the target position, the process is complete.

The previous procedures can be varied by initially aligning the insulating boards (5, 6) and gluing the support adapters (1 - 4) without applying the adhesive foam (8) to the insulating board (5, 6) or the building wall (98 ) he follows. The adhesive foam (8) is here by means of a longer spray tube between the building wall (98) and the insulating board (5, 6) already adhering via the support adapter (1 - 4). This is a type of backfill. The spray tube of the adhesive foam cartridge is here along the building wall (98) - out behind the insulating board (5, 6) - so not perpendicular to the building wall (98).

It essentially has the structure of the support adapter (1). figure 1 . However, two isosceles triangles are formed on the two side edges of the base body (10) of the support adapter (1), which adjoin that side edge near which two pins (30) are located. The tips of the triangles are at a distance of, for example, 60 mm from one another. There is a through hole (17) in each case in the area of the tips of the triangles. Each through hole (17) has a diameter of 3 mm, for example. If necessary, the through-holes (17) are covered on the back by the adhesive layer (50) The support adapter (2) can be fastened there via the through-holes (17) using conventional nails or concrete nails to a substrate to which the adhesive layer (50) does not adhere can.

With the figure 8 a support adapter (3) is shown, the base body (10) of which consists of a ring.

Die Montagefuge zwischen den beiden Dämmplatten wird durch das gestrichelt dargestellte Rechteck (7) fiktiv visualisiert.the figure 9 represents a support adapter (4), with the help of which two insulation panels (5, 6) arranged next to one another are additionally clamped together. For this purpose, according to FIG. 9, the three front pins (30) are stuck in a front insulating board, while the rear three are stuck in a rear insulating board. The assembly joint between the two insulating boards is fictitiously visualized by the rectangle (7) represented by dashed lines.

In the Figures 11 to 15 five different pens are shown. None of the pens of these figures fall within the scope of claim 1. The pen fails figure 11 is conical in shape. Its lateral surface tapers linearly towards the free end. The cone angle of the holding area is, for example, 89 degrees. If necessary, the holding area can also taper non-linearly.

The pen off figure 12 has a truncated cone-shaped lateral surface in the holding area, the diameter of which tapers towards the base plate.

The pins of Figures 13 and 14 each show a sawtooth profile in half longitudinal section. To figure 13 rotates the profile around the pen centerline. at figure 14 the profile winds helically around the pin centerline, creating a type of thread. In addition, the thread diameter tapers towards the tip.

The pen after figure 15 has, for example, four elastic barbs, two of which are mirror-symmetrically opposite each other. The tips of the barbs aligned to the base plate protrude, for example, 0.5 to 1 mm over the regular pen casing, ie the holding area that has no barbs. the Figures 16 and 17 show a support adapter (80) which has two pins (30) molded onto, for example, a square base plate (10) and two pins (81) which can be inserted. the Molded-on pins (30) are arranged in the area of two opposite corners of the base body (10). In the individual areas of the two remaining corners of the base body (10) there is a bore (81) which intersects the base plate (10) at an angle of, for example, 45 degrees. The center lines of the two bores (81), they are almost congruent with the center lines (87) of the inserted pins (85), enclose an angle of 90 degrees. The tip of the angle is about 10 to 20 mm before - after figure 16 below - the adhesive layer (50). So that the heads (86) of the pins (85) do not protrude into the adhesive layer (50), the bores (81) are located, for example, in special plate bulges that also serve as a support structure (16).

If required, a single pin (85) can be inserted into each of the bores (81) in order to increase the adhesive force between the support adapter and the insulating board.

This support adapter (80) is used, among other things, when the insulating board assembly is based on the second procedure mentioned above.
