Andere dem Fachmann bekannte Verbindungsmöglichkeiten liegen im Rahmen der Erfindung. Um Wartungs- bzw. Reparaturarbeiten, insbesondere an Komponenten vornehmen zu können, die im Bereich oberhalb der Backofenmuffel des unteren Backofens 7 angeordnet sind, sind der obere und der untere Gehäusebereich 19, 20 erfindungsgemäß mittels wenigstens eines eine gelenkige Verbindung realisierendes Verbindungselement 22 mit einander verbunden. Vorliegend wird diese gelenkige Verbindung mittels zwei im oberen Bereich der Rückwand 17 des unteren Backofens 7 angeordnete Laschen 23 erreicht, die sich auf die Rückwand 17 des oberen Backofens 10 erstrecken. Die Verbindung der Rückwand 17 des unteren Backofens 7 mit der Rückwand 17 des oberen Backofens 10 erfolgt vorzugsweise mittels einer Schraubenverbindung. Zur Vornahme der Wartungs- bzw. Reparaturarbeiten ist der Doppelbackofen 1 aus dem Einbaumöbel vollständig herauszuziehen. Es liegt im Rahmen der Erfindung, dass vorzugsweise im Bereich der Trennebene 18 wenigstens ein Anschlagselement am Gehäuse des Doppelbackofens 1 angeordnet ist, um das Verschwenken des oberen Backofens 10 um die Schwenkachse 26 zu begrenzen, damit ein schwerkraftbedingtes vollständiges Kippen des oberen Backofens 10 verhindert wird.
