Description
EASILY MOUNTABLE AND DEMOUNTABLE CONNECTIVE CORNER
FIXTURE FOR DRAWERS
Technical Viewpoint
The present invention refers to the connective corner fixture connecting the side panels of the drawers to the rear panel. More particularly, this invention refers to the holding component mounted on the side panel of the drawer and affixed on the rear panel of the drawer so that the connective corner fixture will be easily mounted to/demounted from the side panel and rear panel of the drawer at all points.
Background of the Invention
The drawers consist of a lower panel, a front panel, a rear panel facing the front panel, a couple of symmetrical side panels positioned longitudinally to the opening and closing direction of the drawer. The customary technique uses the side panels of the drawer engaging the rear panels of the drawer or fitting them by screwing one onto the other. In figure 1 of patent no. US4712942 in this field, a connective sub-component is defined to position two panels in relation to each other. In this purpose, ducts are made on the side panels and on the rear panel, thus the mentioned ducts are connected by engaging them with the ducts on the connective sub-component so as to join the corners of the drawers. It can be seen that the side panels of the drawers are straight and include no components. The drawers are made to gain different capacities along with the modern life and technology in progress and in line with these purposes, the side panels of the drawers are modified structurally and formally. In the modern life, drawers are used with the retarders enabling the drawers to close slowly, the closure systems which ensure that the drawers fully close and the adjustment systems through which the drawer can be adjusted in left-right, up-down directions (not displayed due to not being related to the invention). Generally retarder and pulling systems are located below the base plate affixed inside metal side panels on both sides of the drawer and the adjustment systems are
positioned above the base plate. The problem at this point is to affix the side panels with this design to the rear panel of the drawer and different connective components were developed for this purpose. It is known that the Patents no. EP0664982, WO2008/028812 and EP1932448 have already been secured in this field. In the Patent no. EP0664982, the side panel of a drawer can be attached to the holding component (with the structure of bearing body) having clips and the so-called body component can be directed to the rear section of the rear panel in parallel direction with mounting kits, at this point, detaching the clips on the bearing section from the holes on the holding body is very difficult and it is a disadvantage to mount the mounting kits to the rear panel by screwing.
The purpose of the invention and its particulars described in brief.
Considering the current condition of the technique, the purpose of this invention is to obtain a holding component which can be affixed easily to the metal side panel and the base plate affixed inside as well as a connective corner fixture of the body design to be easily mounted to/demounted from the mentioned holding component which can be directed to the rear section of the drawer and which can be mounted to/demounted from the rear section of the drawer without using any tool while pulling the side panels of the drawer together during mounting, thus maintaining a more rigid connection performing all such necessary functions for the drawers which clear away mounting errors.
Another object of the invention is the connective corner fixture having the structure of the body which includes a fixing kit placed parallel from the mentioned body design to the rear panel, the hook components positioned in different heights one under the other on the wall facing the holding component that is fixed on the side panel of the drawer and the holding component which can be mounted to the tab formed preferably within a sloped surface having springing capacity on the lateral wall facing the frontal direction of the drawer at the rear section.
One another object of the invention is that it contains a hole on its frontal surface for the mentioned connective corner fixture to be installed on the flexible tab on the holding component and also another hole which includes a gap at the bottom end to be installed towards bottom on the hooks on the mentioned holding components on the lateral areas together with containing another hole which corresponds to the other hook above this, thus the mounting of the connective fixture to the holding component can be maintained easily.
One another object of the invention is that, it contains a groove to be mounted on the bulge on the base plate in order to fix the holding component into side panel and also it contains tabs to insert easily to the hole formed at the top of the side panel, preferably which have a flexible sloped tab capable of springing itself side panel finally in order to be affixed in the gaps on the lateral areas of base plate. In the other application of this invention, at the top section of the holding component, a hole is available and it is aligned with the hole within the side panel (at the top part) and the holding component is affixed to the side panel by means of a pin above.
In order to reach the mentioned purposes, the structural and characteristic particulars along with all the advantages related to this invention will be comprehended more clearly thanks to the detailed written descriptions by referring to the references and the figures presented below.

Detailed Explanation of the Invention
In Figure 1 and 2, the perspective mounted and demounted images of the drawer are presented. Based on the image, the drawer (1) consists of; a lower panel (5), a front panel (2), a rear panel (4) facing the front panel, a couple of symmetrical side panels (3) located longitudinally in the same direction with the opening and closing of the drawer, a symmetrical couple of holding parts (7) which can be affixed to the side panels so that the corners of the drawers can be joined, the connective corner fixture (6) with a double body design which can be affixed to the rear panel of the drawer by means of the holding component mentioned and the double rail system (8) which can be connected to the base plate (9) inside the side panels of the drawer which enable opening and closing of the drawer.
The demounting and mounting perspective views of side panel and holding component are presented in Figure 3, 4, and 5. The base plate (9) affixed in the side panel (3) based on the figure may be connected to the rail (8) and it can also act as the support for drawer adjustment systems and fixing the drawer retarder and closer mechanisms (no figures displayed regarding the adjustment mechanisms, retarder and closer mechanisms since they are not related with the invention). In the mentioned figures, in order for the holding component (7) to be affixed on the base plate (9), a bulge (9.1 ) is formed on the base plate and fixing holes (9.2) are formed on the lateral area facing the tabs (7.4) of the holding component. Thus the base bulge (9.1 ) which is passed through the groove (7.6) of the holding component centers the holding component (6) within the side panel (3) and the holding component duct (7.5) aligned by means of the duct of the side panel (3.1 ) is connected by means of a pin (10). In the alternative structuring (Figure-6), an integral flexible bulge (7.7) is formed at the
top section of the holding component which features springiness and also having a sloped surface preferably, thus without using any pins (10), the holding component (7) is mounted onto the side panel duct (3.1 ). Thus, when the holding component (7), is driven into the side panel (3) on the base plate (9), the flexible bulge (7.7) of the holding part leans lower and moves through the side panel and when the duct (3.1 ) at the top section is reached, springs and moves out of the duct (3.1) thus it can perform affixing at the top part of the side panel (3).
In Figure 7, the perspective view of the connective corner fixture (6) and the holding component is presented. Based on the figure, in order for the connection of the holding component (7) to be fixed with the side panel (3) to the rear panel (4) by means of the connective corner fixture, a flexible tab (7.1 ) designed preferably with sloping featuring springing towards bottom within the holding component (7) at the last section of the side panel (3), at least two holding hooks (7.2) inside the lateral surface with a certain distance to each other and preferably located in different heights as one under the other and facing this design, the hole (gap) (6.4) for the flexible tab (7.1 ) of the holding component (7) on the wider section facing inside the drawer for the connective corner fixture(6) of the body structure are formed as well as holes (6.2, 6.3) in different heights as one under the other which may face the hooks (7.2) on the lateral section of the connective corner fixture in the same direction with them. Furthermore, a duct (6.5) is formed on the side panel of the connective corner fixture and a centering tab (7.3) is provided inside the holding component facing this, thus the duct (6.5) of on the lateral surface of the connective corner fixture is made to pass over the centering tab (7.3) and easier mounting' could be enabled.
In Figure 8, the frontal perspective image of the connective corner fixture and the rear panel of the drawer and in Figure 9, its perspective image from behind is presented. Based on the figure given, the affixing kit (6.1 ) which includes the mounting holes (6.6) with angles on the connective corner fixture (6) can be mounted onto the plug head (11) on the rear panel by being directed -.from the
holding component (7) on the side panels (3) of the drawer facing each other by being directed to the rear panel (4) thus without screwing, the connective corner fixture can be affixed to the rear panel from the mounting holes with angles and a rigid drawer can be maintained by pulling the side panels towards each other. Finally the clamping tab (6.7) on the affixing kit (6.1 ) is prevented from coming out of the holes (6.6) with angles of the plug head (11 ) by hitting on the rear panel by any tool.
