Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to the general field of cycling; it relates more particularly to a footwear for the practice of cycling.
Cycling encompasses a set of sporting variants, which in practice are very different from each other.
This variety corresponds in particular to the different soils on which the cyclist can circulate: for example, a soil which can be uneven (path, path ...) for the practice of the mountain bike (known as "VTT"), or a road in the case of cycle tourism.
L'équipement utilisé par le cycliste est généralement adapté au type de sol sur lequel il va évoluer, et à l'équipement nécessaire à sa pratique (pédale).The equipment used by the cyclist is generally adapted to the type of soil on which it will evolve, and the equipment necessary for its practice (pedal).
This is particularly the case of the shoes he uses, the soles of which must include parts likely to come into contact with the ground to allow walking with optimum comfort and safety.
Thus, in particular, for the practice of mountain biking, the contact parts with the floor of the sole are advantageously equipped with crampons, facilitating walking and grip on uneven ground; on the other hand, for the practice of cycle tourism, the ground contacting parts are advantageously provided with contact surfaces of the continuous or substantially continuous type (that is to say still without any particular projections or projections), in order to facilitate the contact with the ground. walk on a flat floor.
However, this specialization of equipment now forces athletes to equip themselves with several pairs of shoes, each adapted to a particular practice of cycling. This also causes some disadvantages for the manufacturers, who must produce and store a plurality of different versions of shoes to meet the needs of cyclists.
To remedy these drawbacks, the applicant has developed a new footwear for cycling, which can be adapted very simply to mountain biking or cycling.
This footwear is particularly innovative because of its great versatility: cycling and mountain biking are in practice very different activities and distant from each other.
This equipment also comprises at least two interchangeable batches of said accessory parts, which are adaptable on said sole:
- the accessory parts of one of the said lots comprising crampons, to constitute cycling shoes adapted to the practice of mountain biking and to facilitate walking on uneven ground, and
- the accessory parts of the other said batches having a contact surface of continuous or at least substantially continuous type, to constitute cycling shoes adapted to the practice of cycling and to facilitate walking on flat ground.
- les pièces accessoires constituant le patin avant et le talon de chaque lot sont en forme générale de U ou de V, et elles se composent avantageusement chacune d'une partie centrale transversale prolongée par deux ailes latérales en regard l'une de l'autre, lesdites ailes étant destinées à être orientées vers le milieu de la semelle associée ; de plus la partie centrale du talon comporte avantageusement une aile centrale supplémentaire, s'étendant entre ses deux ailes latérales ; de préférence encore les trois ailes de la pièce formant le talon du lot « vélo tout-terrain », comportent chacune un crampon, le crampon de l'aile centrale présentant une surface d'appui au sol en forme générale de dents de scie ;
- la semelle comporte avantageusement, au niveau de sa face inférieure, des empreintes en creux dont le contour correspond, au jeu près, au contour des pièces accessoires, des orifices filetés étant ménagés au sein desdites empreintes, et lesdites pièces accessoires étant pourvues d'orifices traversants pour la mise en place de vis de fixation aptes à coopérer avec lesdits orifices filetés respectifs ; dans le cas d'un patin avant et d'un talon en forme générale de U ou de V, lesdites pièces accessoires sont avantageusement chacune pourvues d'au moins un orifice traversant au sein de leur partie transversale et de chacune de leurs ailes latérales ;
- la pièce formant patin avant du lot « vélo tout-terrain » et son empreinte de réception, sont avantageusement pourvues d'orifices aptes à recevoir des pointes formant des crampons complémentaires pour améliorer l'accroche au sol ;
- the accessory parts constituting the front shoe and the heel of each batch are in the general shape of U or V, and they advantageously consist each of a transverse central portion extended by two lateral wings facing one another, said wings being intended to be oriented towards the middle of the associated sole; in addition the central portion of the heel advantageously comprises an additional central wing, extending between its two lateral wings; preferably still the three wings of the piece forming the heel of the lot "mountain bike", each comprise a crampon, the crampon of the central wing having a ground bearing surface generally sawtooth form;
- the sole advantageously comprises, at its lower face, indentations whose contour corresponds, with the game, to the contour of the accessory parts, threaded holes being formed in said indentations, and said accessory parts being provided with orifices through holes for the establishment of fixing screws adapted to cooperate with said respective threaded holes; in the case of a front shoe and a generally U-shaped or V-shaped heel, said accessory pieces are advantageously each provided with at least one through hole within their transverse portion and each of their lateral wings;
- the piece forming the front pad of the "off-road bike" package and its receiving footprint, are advantageously provided with orifices capable of receiving spikes forming complementary spikes to improve grip on the ground;
- the accessory parts of the "cycle touring" package are advantageously provided with a plurality of grooves, to improve the adhesion to the ground.
