Description

The invention relates to a food cutting machine according to the features of the preamble of claim 1.

From practice, such cutting machines are known to a string-shaped food, such. As sausage or cheese, slices to cut.

That's how it shows DE 17 57 766 A a food slicing machine with a chain frame which picks up the cut slices from the knife and transports them to a cutting tray. The slices are released from the chains by a stripper and transported to the cutting tray. From the EP 0 216 754 a cutting machine according to the preamble of claim 1 is known.

For a good cutting result, it is important to find a compromise between the necessary adhesion of the material to be cut to the chains and the release force. The higher the adhesion, the more difficult it is to remove the cut material from the chains without damage. If the adhesion is too low, there is a risk that the cut material will come loose and fall off by itself. Especially when cutting with particularly large or very small diameter, the problem arises.

The object of the invention is to provide a cutting machine, in particular for cutting material with different diameter has a good cutting result.

This object is achieved by a cutting machine with the features of claim 1.

The cutting machine has a chain frame with parallel circumferential chains whose distance from each other is different in at least two areas. In a first area, the spacing of the chains is less than in a second area. The adhesion of the material to the chain frame is directly determined by the number of covered chains. As a result, sliced items with a larger diameter adhere better to the chains than slices with a smaller diameter. The known chain frame with equidistant chain spacing therefore represent a limiting element in terms of the possible Schneidgutdurchmesser.

To overcome this disadvantage, it is proposed that the chain frame in a first region, which is provided for receiving small-diameter cutting material, have a smaller chain spacing than in a second region, which is only covered by large-diameter cutting material. The first region is advantageously arranged at the height of the item to be cut. Preferably, a second region with a larger chain spacing is arranged above the first region with a small chain spacing. Between the chain intervals, smooth transitions may be provided, so that the Distances of the chains to each other from the first area to the second area are getting bigger.

The number of chains in the two areas can vary. It has been found that in practice a number of two to four parallel chains are ideal.

In one embodiment, it may be provided to vary the height of the item to be cut material in order to cover as large a range as possible of different items to be cut. According to the invention it is provided that the distance between the chains is also adjustable relative to one another. Thus, the first area can always be set so that it is at the level of the cutting material support. This can be achieved in one embodiment in that the chain frame is movable in height synchronously to the cutlery support. In particular, the chain frame can be coupled with a height adjustment of the cut object support, so that the cut object support and the chain frame are adjusted together in height. Especially user-friendly is in another version, when the height adjustment of Schneidgutauflage is coupled with an adjustment of the chain spacing. The height of the chain frame is left the same and instead the distance of the chains is adjusted to each other. In both versions, the adjustment can be done comfortably in just one step. For a particularly comfortable operation can be provided that the height adjustment of Schneidgutauflage and / or the chain frame and / or the chain spacing is motor-driven.

Jedoch kann die Schneidemaschine auch zum Schneiden von Fisch oder Gemüse oder in der Lebensmittelherstellung verwendet werdenAn application of the cutting machine according to the invention is provided in retail for cutting food such as sausage, meat or cheese in fresh sales. However, the cutting machine can also be used for cutting fish or vegetables or in food production

FIG. 1:
a schematic sectional view of a cutting machine
FIG. 2:
An enlarged view of the chain links

In the FIG. 1 schematically the structure of a cutting machine 1 is shown. In the figures, a so-called vertical cutter is shown as an example. That is, the cutting machine 1 has a driven cutting blade 3 which rotates in a vertical cutting plane. Alternatively, the invention can of course also be used in a diagonal cutter.

Via an adjustable stop plate, which is arranged in a cutting plane parallel to the cutting blade 3, a cutting gap is set. The width of the cutting gap determines the thickness of the discs cut from a food strand. The Cut slices are picked up by a chain frame 4 and transported away from the cutting area. About a slicer 5, the discs are detached from the chain frame and placed on a shelf 6. From there, the discs can then be removed or removed.

Foods to be cut are placed on a carriage 2 for cutting and guided by it. The carriage 2 is arranged displaceably parallel to the cutting blade 3. The carriage 2 has a Schlittenfuß 22 which carries the Schneidgutauflage 21 and connects to the machine housing 11. The machine housing 11 accommodates the drive motors and control units of the cutting machine 1. Down the machine housing 11 is closed by a base plate 12. The carriage 2 is driven for cutting either manually or by motor, wherein each cut a stroke is performed. At its front, d. H. on the side facing an operator, the carriage 2 has a hand protection plate 23, which covers the carriage 2 to the front. The handguard prevents an operator from inadvertently getting his hand into the cutting area of the knife 3. About a height adjustment 24, the height of the carriage 2 and thus the height of the Schneidgutauflage 21 can be varied.

The separated slices of food strand are received behind the cutting blade 3 of the chain frame 4 and transported away automatically. The chain frame 4 has a plurality of parallel rotating chains 41 for transporting separated slices. The chains 41 are guided circumferentially about laterally arranged rollers 42a, 42b. Arranged on the chains 41 are tips 45 which pierce the cut-off discs and thus ensure a reliable hold of the discs on the chains 41.

In the FIG. 2 portions of the chains 41 are shown enlarged. The chains 41 have, for holding discs, a plurality of interconnected chain links 42 with wire tips 45 on which food slices are impaled. The chain links are formed from interconnected wire mesh and each have an eyelet 43 by means of which an adjacent chain link is held. A U-shaped center part 44 engages in the eyelet 44 of the respective adjacent chain link, thus connecting the individual chain links to form a closed chain. The ends of the chain links form the eyelet 44 and have integrally molded tips 45 with a bevelled end 46. Due to the beveled tail, the tips 45 can penetrate better into the separated discs and thus better hold.

The disc is deposited by means of an automatically driven Abschlägers 5, which is pivotally mounted about a horizontal axis of rotation 51. The Abschläger 5 has a plurality of spaced fingers 52 which engage between the circulating chains 41 of the transport chain frame 3 and deposit the discs on a shelf 43. To deposit the discs of the Abschläger 41 pivots about the horizontal axis of rotation 51. He first solves the stuck on the chain tips 45 discs and takes them in his Swivel movement with and transported them up to the storage area. 6

The chain frame 4 has two areas A and B. In the region A, the individual chains 41 have a smaller distance from one another than in the region B. The smaller spacing of the chains 41 in region A causes more chain tips 45 to penetrate the disks per unit area and thus better adhere the disk. Especially for sliced products with a small diameter, this leads to a better cutting result, since the separated slices can be transported away from the cutting area better and safer.

However, for cutting material with a larger diameter such a small chain spacing would mean too high a liability, so that the triggering force for the Abschläger 5 would be very high and also the risk of damage to the material to be cut would exist. Therefore, the distance of the chains 41 to each other in the second area B is made larger.

On the laterally arranged rollers 42a, 42b guide wheels 47 are supported, over which the chains 41 are guided circumferentially. At least two of the deflection wheels 47a and 47b are mounted axially displaceably on the rollers 42a, 42b, and can be displaced axially by means of loosening and subsequent fixing of a screw connection or latching along the rollers 42a or 42b. The adjustment is in the FIG. 2 indicated by a sliding arrow and can be used in the entire area of the by the fingers 52 of the Abschlägers limited space done. By moving the guide wheels 47a and 47b, the distance of the chains 41 can be adjusted to each other and thus the position of the region A can be adjusted according to the height of the cutting material support. Above all, in the case of a height-adjustable cutting material support 21, it is important in the sense of a good cutting result that the region A is arranged at a height with the cutting material support 21 in order to safely transport cutting material with different diameters.
