Definitions
- the invention relates to a drain, in particular for sanitary facilities, with a housing, wherein within the housing, an inlet channel and a drain collection channel are formed, which are separated from each other to form a siphon by a Aufstau Geneva, wherein at the top of the housing, a housing cover proceed, which covers a central region of the housing and which defines an overflow section connecting the poppet region to the drain collection channel and wherein the inlet channel extends between an outer wall of the housing and a partition disposed within the housing, and wherein the overflow section extends vertically above the upper edge of the inlet channel extends beyond.
- the process is especially designed for shower, bath or spa baths.
- the process can also be used as a floor drain, for example in sanitary facilities.
- shower trays which have only a small threshold in relation to an adjacent floor surface or are completely integrated in a floor surface.
- Corresponding tubs not only have a particularly appealing, high-quality look but also lead to a significant increase in comfort.
- such tubs are also handicapped accessible, since no high threshold must be overcome.
- the measures provided for such tubs processes must be performed as low as possible, so they do not have to be used deep in a floor area. At the same time there is the problem, especially with flat shower trays, that an overflow is also to be avoided, which is why the sequence should enable a particularly high flow rate.
- a sequence with the features of the preamble of claim 1 is known from WO 2008/135704 A1 known.
- the water Starting from the inlet channel between the outer wall of the housing and a partition wall disposed within the housing, the water first enters the annular Aufstau Scheme and then at an overflow of an accumulation wall finally in the drain collection channel, which is arranged centrally within the annular Aufstau Kunststoffes. The water is then directed downwards and closes off via a connection piece arranged below the drain.
- a disadvantage of the known design is that the centrally connected connector is located below the drain, so that at a given damming height results in a relatively large installation depth, although the connector initially has a flat, drawn in the width flow profile.
- EP 1 574 629 A1 From the EP 1 574 629 A1 is a drain for sanitary facilities, especially shower trays with the features of the preamble of claim 1 known, wherein an inlet channel, a Aufstau Silver and a drain collection channel are arranged in series one behind the other.
- the EP 1 574 629 A1 thus reveals the shape of a conventional siphon, wherein the flow cross sections and thus the drainage capacity are limited by the arrangement of the sections one behind the other.
- a sanitary appliance drainage system wherein an inlet channel and a drainage collection channel are formed within the housing and are separated from one another by a jam area to form a siphon.
- This document deals with the problem with an overall compact design of the drain to achieve increased drainage performance, in particular to allow use on flat shower trays.
- the drain has a central inflow channel, from which the inflowing water is first transferred into a siphon channel, which forms an accumulation area, inside the housing. Between the siphon channel and the inflow channel, a substantially annular outflow collecting channel is formed, from which the water is led out of the housing through an outlet opening.
- the Aufstau Club and the drainage collection channel which are each formed substantially annular, have a total of comparatively large flow cross-sections, since according to the DE 20 2008 011 010 U1 the inflowing water is first led to the outside.
- the procedure described is characterized by a total of relatively low height by very good drainage performance. On this basis, there is still the need to further reduce the height of the process.
- the invention has for its object to provide a sequence with the features described above, which allows a particularly compact arrangement of a sanitary device, in particular a shower tray.
- the draining water does not flow in the middle, but at the edge of the drain. Rather, the middle region of the housing is covered by a housing cover which according to the invention limits the flow paths formed within the housing.
- a housing cover which according to the invention limits the flow paths formed within the housing.
- the tub body usually has a recess with a drain opening at which the drain is arranged.
- the flow paths adjoining an inflow channel are arranged completely below the depression and the drain opening formed therein.
- the invention discloses in this context an advantageous approach, wherein the space within the recess for the formation of flow paths should be used.
- the overflow section extends in the vertical direction beyond the upper edge of the inlet channel, ie the upper edge of the outer wall.
- the height of the upper edge of the inlet channel corresponds approximately to the damming height of the Aufstau Kunststoffs.
- the damming height and the height of the upper edge refer to absolute values to be determined, for example, from the bottom of the housing.
- the siphoning height must be taken into account as a further size relevant to dimensioning.
- the Siphonianssdorf indicates the height difference, by which in the Aufstau Kunststoff the inlet channel is separated from the drain collection channel.
- the Siphonianssdorf should usually be at least 25 mm, preferably at least 50 mm, so that corresponding industry standards are met.
- the Aufstau Club connects via a bottom-side connection to the inlet channel, wherein the drainage collection channel is arranged between the inlet channel and the Aufstau Scheme.
- the incoming water first passes in the outer region of the housing in the peripheral inlet channel and is then passed over the bottom-side connection to the inside of the Aufstau Bachelor before the water eventually passes through the limited from the bottom of the housing cover overflow section in the drain collection channel ,
- the Aufstau Silver and the drainage collection channel are separated by a cylindrical Anstauwand.
- the drain collection channel can be arranged annularly around this.
- the Aufstau Silver and the drainage collection channel may be formed with respect to a vertical axis of symmetry substantially rotationally symmetrical. Deviations from the rotational symmetry occur to the extent that there is still an outlet for the through the drain flowing water must be provided.
- the drainage collection channel can open into a drainage nozzle, which is led out laterally from the outer wall of the housing.
- the discharge nozzle can initially have a large, for example rectangular, cross-section starting from the drainage collecting channel, which then narrows to a circular shape so that a standardized pipe connection piece can be fastened.
- the housing Apart from the laterally led out end stub, the housing preferably has a substantially cylindrical outer shape.
- the housing cover can be firmly and permanently connected to the housing.
- the housing cover is designed to be removable, to allow cleaning and removal of dirt such as hair.
- the housing cover can be fixed for example by clamping or by a screw connection.
- Particular advantages also arise in the context of the invention in that after the removal of the housing cover and the Aufstau Scheme and the drainage collection channel can be easily cleaned. Through the drain collection channel and the adjoining outflow nozzle and a drain pipe can be reached, so that when a blockage pipe cleaning spiral, the hose of a high-pressure cleaning device or the like can be introduced.
- the housing cover has a curved shape on its underside defining the underside.
- the housing cover can be arranged visible in the assembled state of the sequence.
- an additional decorative cover is provided according to a preferred embodiment of the invention, which on the housing and the housing cover is placed.
- this can be achieved if the decorative cover is made of the same material.
- this results in an optimal integration of the process into the overall appearance of the sanitary tub.
- a dimensionally stable support can be provided, which consists of plastic, for example ABS.
- the decorative cover and the carrier can be connected to each other, for example by gluing.
- this is composed according to a preferred embodiment of the invention of various parts, in particular plastic moldings.
- a separately manufactured housing bottom which can be welded or alternatively glued to the outer wall in a production of a thermoplastic material.
- the attachment of the drain to a drain opening of a sanitary tub is usually carried out with a clamping ring, between the sanitary tub and the clamping ring on the one hand and the sanitary tub and a support flange of the housing on the other hand, a seal is provided, including, for example, an annular contour seal is suitable.
- the subject matter of the invention is also a sanitary tub with a tub body which has a drain opening at a depression, wherein the drain described above is arranged at the drain opening.
- the top of the drain is preferably approximately flush with a subsequent to the depression level area of the tub body.
- the recess usually jumps back by 15 mm to 40 mm.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a drain, in particular for sanitary facilities, with a housing, wherein within the housing, an inlet channel and a drain collection channel are formed, which are separated from each other to form a siphon by a Aufstaubereich, wherein at the top of the housing, a housing cover proceed, which covers a central region of the housing and which defines an overflow section connecting the poppet region to the drain collection channel and wherein the inlet channel extends between an outer wall of the housing and a partition disposed within the housing, and wherein the overflow section extends vertically above the upper edge of the inlet channel extends beyond. The process is especially designed for shower, bath or spa baths. The process can also be used as a floor drain, for example in sanitary facilities.
In order to meet increased design requirements and functionality in sanitary tubs, the aim is to minimize the height of such sanitary facilities. Thus, shower trays are known which have only a small threshold in relation to an adjacent floor surface or are completely integrated in a floor surface. Corresponding tubs not only have a particularly appealing, high-quality look but also lead to a significant increase in comfort. In particular, such tubs are also handicapped accessible, since no high threshold must be overcome. The measures provided for such tubs processes must be performed as low as possible, so they do not have to be used deep in a floor area. At the same time there is the problem, especially with flat shower trays, that an overflow is also to be avoided, which is why the sequence should enable a particularly high flow rate.
Efforts to minimize the build-up of runoff also arise in bath and spa tub processes to meet increased design requirements. Finally, even when using the drain as a floor drain, a low overall height is advantageous since the drain then has to be inserted less deeply into the floor.

Against this background, the invention has for its object to provide a sequence with the features described above, which allows a particularly compact arrangement of a sanitary device, in particular a shower tray.
The object is achieved by a process according to
According to the invention, the draining water does not flow in the middle, but at the edge of the drain. Rather, the middle region of the housing is covered by a housing cover which according to the invention limits the flow paths formed within the housing. Compared to the known from the prior art designs, it is therefore possible to move the flow paths at a constant Siphonierungshöhe further upwards, whereby the process in an arrangement on a sanitary tub projecting less down. In a sanitary tub, the tub body usually has a recess with a drain opening at which the drain is arranged. In the processes known from the prior art, the flow paths adjoining an inflow channel are arranged completely below the depression and the drain opening formed therein. The invention discloses in this context an advantageous approach, wherein the space within the recess for the formation of flow paths should be used. Thus, according to the invention, it is provided that the overflow section extends in the vertical direction beyond the upper edge of the inlet channel, ie the upper edge of the outer wall. In particular, it can be provided that the height of the upper edge of the inlet channel corresponds approximately to the damming height of the Aufstaubereichs. The damming height and the height of the upper edge refer to absolute values to be determined, for example, from the bottom of the housing. The siphoning height must be taken into account as a further size relevant to dimensioning. The Siphonierungshöhe indicates the height difference, by which in the Aufstaubereich the inlet channel is separated from the drain collection channel. The Siphonierungshöhe should usually be at least 25 mm, preferably at least 50 mm, so that corresponding industry standards are met.
According to the invention the Aufstaubereich connects via a bottom-side connection to the inlet channel, wherein the drainage collection channel is arranged between the inlet channel and the Aufstaubereich. In the context of such an embodiment, the incoming water first passes in the outer region of the housing in the peripheral inlet channel and is then passed over the bottom-side connection to the inside of the Aufstaubereich before the water eventually passes through the limited from the bottom of the housing cover overflow section in the drain collection channel ,
In order to achieve the largest possible flow cross-sections, it is provided according to a preferred embodiment that the Aufstaubereich and the drainage collection channel are separated by a cylindrical Anstauwand.
In order to allow a simple production of the process and good flow properties, simple geometric structures are preferred. Thus, in a centrally arranged Aufstaubereich the drain collection channel can be arranged annularly around this. In particular, the Aufstaubereich and the drainage collection channel may be formed with respect to a vertical axis of symmetry substantially rotationally symmetrical. Deviations from the rotational symmetry occur to the extent that there is still an outlet for the through the drain flowing water must be provided. Thus, for example, the drainage collection channel can open into a drainage nozzle, which is led out laterally from the outer wall of the housing. In order to achieve a maximum flow, the discharge nozzle can initially have a large, for example rectangular, cross-section starting from the drainage collecting channel, which then narrows to a circular shape so that a standardized pipe connection piece can be fastened. Apart from the laterally led out end stub, the housing preferably has a substantially cylindrical outer shape.
In the context of the invention, the housing cover can be firmly and permanently connected to the housing. Preferably, however, the housing cover is designed to be removable, to allow cleaning and removal of dirt such as hair. The housing cover can be fixed for example by clamping or by a screw connection. Finally, it is also possible to fix the housing cover to the housing with additional fasteners. Particular advantages also arise in the context of the invention in that after the removal of the housing cover and the Aufstaubereich and the drainage collection channel can be easily cleaned. Through the drain collection channel and the adjoining outflow nozzle and a drain pipe can be reached, so that when a blockage pipe cleaning spiral, the hose of a high-pressure cleaning device or the like can be introduced. To avoid the flow edges, the housing cover has a curved shape on its underside defining the underside.
In the context of the invention, the housing cover can be arranged visible in the assembled state of the sequence. In order to achieve a particularly high-quality appearance, however, an additional decorative cover is provided according to a preferred embodiment of the invention, which on the housing and the housing cover is placed. In particular, there is a need to provide the accessible in the assembled state areas of the process with a high-quality and durable surface. In particular, in sanitary baths made of steel enamel, this can be achieved if the decorative cover is made of the same material. In addition, this results in an optimal integration of the process into the overall appearance of the sanitary tub. In order to hold the decorative cover on the housing, a dimensionally stable support can be provided, which consists of plastic, for example ABS. The decorative cover and the carrier can be connected to each other, for example by gluing.
In order to enable the simplest possible and cost-effective production of the process, this is composed according to a preferred embodiment of the invention of various parts, in particular plastic moldings. Thus, it is possible to close the housing on its underside by a separately manufactured housing bottom, which can be welded or alternatively glued to the outer wall in a production of a thermoplastic material. The attachment of the drain to a drain opening of a sanitary tub is usually carried out with a clamping ring, between the sanitary tub and the clamping ring on the one hand and the sanitary tub and a support flange of the housing on the other hand, a seal is provided, including, for example, an annular contour seal is suitable.
The subject matter of the invention is also a sanitary tub with a tub body which has a drain opening at a depression, wherein the drain described above is arranged at the drain opening. Thus, the process is not distracting when using the sanitary tub and optimally fits into the overall visual appearance, the top of the drain is preferably approximately flush with a subsequent to the depression level area of the tub body. The recess usually jumps back by 15 mm to 40 mm. According to the invention, a part of the flow channels extending from the drain opening into this recess, whereby the underside projection of the process is reduced. Even with a siphonation height of 50 mm, it is possible within the scope of the invention for the outlet to protrude downwards from the lower edge of the depression to less than 70 mm, preferably less than 60 mm. As explained above, the housing preferably has a substantially cylindrical, that is circular-cylindrical outer contour. The arrangement of an additional decorative cover is an almost arbitrary adaptation to a differently shaped recess, such as a square recess, possible.

It is particularly important to the invention that the middle region of the

In order to be able to more easily clean the drain, the
The
