Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'un bac de douche sans joints, qui est installé dans des établissements de baignade ou en tant qu'emplacement de douche isolé, avec ou sans corps porteur, avantageusement à surface plane avec le sol voisin. Elle concerne aussi un bac de douche sans joints. La surface d'écoulement (4, 11, 19, 23, 25, 30), qui recueille l'eau et la dirige vers l'ouverture d'évacuation (6, 14, 16, 27, 31, 32) du bac de douche (1, 10, 15, 18, 21, 24, 28, 29), est réalisée par usinage par enlèvement de matière dans un bloc de matériau présentant au moins une face plane et parallèle. Selon l'invention, la surface d'écoulement (4, 11, 19, 23, 25, 30) est réalisée en une seule opération au moyen d'un procédé d'usinage en trois dimensions commandé par programme, sachant que la région de bord (5, 26) du bac de douche (1, 15, 18, 24, 28, 29), au moins dans une zone d'accès et de sortie, se raccorde continûment à la surface d'écoulement (4, 19, 25, 30). Grâce à ce procédé d'usinage très convivial, la surface du fond de la douche peut être réalisée en une seule opération ininterrompue avec une forme variable et sans aucun décrochement. On peut ainsi également réaliser de façon relativement économique des bacs de douches fabriqués sur commande, dans toute forme souhaitée par le client et sans arêtes risquant de faire déraper.
