Abstract
The signal processing of a hearing device and in particular a hearing aid should be able to be better adapted to the situation. For this purpose, a method for processing an input signal (e) according to a first processing algorithm (11) to a first intermediate signal (a 11 ) and processing the input signal (e) according to a second processing algorithm (13) to a second intermediate signal (a 13 ) in parallel to the processing of the input signal (e) according to the first processing algorithm (11) proposed. The input signal is classified with a classifier (14). Finally, an output signal (a) having a constant mixing ratio from both the first and second intermediate signals (am.a 13 ) is formed in consideration of the result of classifying. At the same time, the advantages of several algorithms can be used.
