Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a washing aid which reduces the germ count in the laundry when used, or prevents the proliferation of germs when wearing the washed laundry.
The antibacterial effect of silver ions has been known for years. The use of silver plate, spoon, cup, ... goes back to the time of the Romans. Also, silver coins were placed years ago in the milk container to prevent acidification of the milk, or to delay.
Meanwhile, there are also commercial articles particularly in the field of washing machine industry and detergent additive industry. Thus, the company Samsung currently offers a washing machine with a special silver program on the market and the company smartfiber AG the so-called bluemagicball. Both work on the principle that silver from carrier plates or TrägerFasern be rinsed out during the washing process and thus get into the water of the washing machine.
Eine ausführliche Beschreibung liefert z.B. die Marketingpräsentation der Firma smartfiber AG.There, the silver passes into the fibers of the laundry and thus impregnates the clothing and thus presents the antibacterial effect. A detailed description provides e.g. the marketing presentation of the company smartfiber AG.
Furthermore, various silver colloid-containing solutions are offered for disinfection purposes.
All of these applications have the disadvantage that, on the one hand, the proportion of washed-out silver can not be exactly determined and, in particular, in the case of support systems in which no silver plates are used, the number of silver atoms released steadily decreases.
Thus, the consumer either an expensive handling with the corresponding detergents, or detergent additives, or the uncertainty, enough silver ions for the antibacterial equipment of clothing in the washing water to have available. In addition, all silver colloid-containing solutions generally lose much of their original activity over time. In addition, the silver ion concentration, which is responsible for the antibacterial effect, does not remain constant and decreases with time. It must therefore be started with a much higher silver ion concentration for safety reasons.
The object of the invention was to provide a washing aid which does not have the disadvantages of the known solutions described above, is easy and convenient to dose and allows a constant in the amount of release of silver ions, without causing a misdosing (over or under dosage) comes.
The multiplication of germs, in particular bacterial germs, leads to an odor development especially in the case of sweat formation. This odor development should be avoided by using the washing aid according to the invention.
The present invention is therefore a washing aid, or detergent additive containing silver ions, characterized in that the silver ions in the form of an at least partially soluble silver compound and the washing aid or the detergent additive, in Pressed, sprayed or injection-molded form is securely encapsulated in a medication blister pack.
The advantage of the present invention is on the one hand the packaging, that is the medication blister pack. By this type of packaging, it is possible that on the one hand a precisely defined amount of active substance released per washing process, or can be added.
Thus, a harmful over- or under-dosage is no longer possible. In addition, the washing aid or detergent additive does not come into contact with the human skin when it is pressed out of the packaging. As a result, discoloration of the skin caused by contact with silver ions is avoided.
In addition, the longer storage life is given by the encapsulation of the active substance in the blister pack. Furthermore, it is ensured by the inventive design and form of the washing aid, or of the detergent additive with respect to the type of packaging that the use of the active substance can be targeted and controlled.
Another advantage of the present invention is that an at least partially soluble silver compound is used with a carrier, preferably an excipient which does not react with the silver compound.
As at least partially soluble silver compounds are not complexed silver salts, such as silver nitrate, silver sulfate, silver fluoride, silver acetate and sometimes silver chloride, but which is not particularly suitable by its photosensitivity in question.
The silver compounds preferably have a solubility of at least 0.1 to 5000 g / l, preferably 5 to 2500 g / l in water.
Suitable carrier substances are, for example, detergents (surfactants) and their auxiliaries and additives such as, for example, fragrances, dyes, reducing or oxidizing agents and enzymes, and less preferably water-soluble salts which have no negative effect on the washing action.
In order to enable packaging in a blister pack and at the same time to ensure a clean handling, the washing aid according to the invention or the detergent additive is preferably pressed into tablets, sprayed or injection-molded.
These tablets can then be easily packed in a blister pack. Furthermore, the compacted form is a simple and clean handling without unpleasant crumbling. Crumbing or dusting guaranteed.
In order to ensure the processing by compression, the addition of pressing aids is preferred. As pressing aids, for example, potassium chloride, sodium bicarbonate, or various sugar compounds (e.g., dextrose, maltodextrin, sucrose, etc.) are used. These pressing aids do not adversely affect the action of the partially soluble silver compound and also the washing process.
Um eine antibakterielle Wirkung zu erzielen ((Hollemann*Wiberg Lehrbuch der Anorganischen Chemie Walter de Gruyter Verlag Berlin*New York) beträgt die Dosierung an nicht komplexierte Silberionen beträgt mindestens 2*10-9 g pro I Wasser. Bevorzugt sollte die Konzentration an Silberionen mindestens 1*10-7, besonders bevorzugt mindestens 1*10-4 g pro I Wasser betragen. In order to achieve an antibacterial effect (Hollemann * Wiberg Textbook of Inorganic Chemistry Walter de Gruyter Verlag Berlin * New York), the dosage of non-complexed silver ions is at least 2 * 10-9 g per l of water 1 × 10 -7, more preferably at least 1 × 10 -4 g per liter of water, thus giving an ideal concentration of 0.1-100 mg of silver salt per 5 liters of wash liquor The ratio of the at least partially soluble silver compound to the carrier used can be any have the desired value and serves only to improve the ability to meter the active substance also be 0 (dosage of the pure active substance) up to, for example, 1,000,000 (0.1 mg of silver salt on a total dosage of 100 g) after the total dosage amount used.
These at least partially soluble silver compounds react with the chloride ions present in the wash water to give silver chloride, which always ensures a constant silver ion concentration in the wash solution through its solubility product.
Thus, there is neither the case of overdosing nor underdosing.
The further essential advantage of the invention underlying this invention is that the at least partially soluble silver compounds in water can decompose into uncomplexed silver ions (Ag +) and thus achieve their complete effectiveness in the wash water, since complexed silver ions have a significantly weaker disinfecting effect. This is a significant advantage of the present invention as compared to the technologies already described on the market. Excess silver chloride is deposited on the laundry in its fibers and re-moisturises (e.g., by perspiration) again as an antibacterial silver ion.
