Claims (6)

Geschirmter Steckverbinder, insbesondere D-Sub-Steckverbinder, umfassend einen elektrisch isolierenden Grundkörper (2), der als Träger für elektrische Kontakte vorgesehen ist, ein metallisches Abschirmelement (1) mit einem umlaufenden Flansch (11) und zwei elektrisch leitende, seitliche Befestigungselemente (3),
wobei der Grundkörper (2) eine Montagefläche (21) sowie zwei in diese Montagefläche (21) mündende und durch den Grundkörper (2) verlaufende Öffnungen (22) aufweist, dadurch gekennzeichnet,
dass in der Montagefläche (21) um jede der beiden Öffnungen (22) jeweils eine Ausnehmung (23) angeordnet ist, wobei diese Ausnehmung (23) an ihrer Innenseite einen Kragen (24) aufweist, und
dass die Befestigungselemente (3) jeweils ein Fenster (31), gebildet aus einem Rahmen (32) aufweisen, wobei der Rahmen (32) dafür vorgesehen ist, formschlüssig in die jeweilige Ausnehmung (23) eingefügt zu werden.
