Description

The invention relates to a made of metallic, especially aluminum hollow sections constructed in simple or thermally insulated training fire protection element, in particular in the form of a frame for windows, doors, facade parts and the like, arranged in the interior of the hollow sections, the fire protection insert parts preferably water crystal binding chemicals such Silicate or gypsum building materials existing fire protection compounds.

In the past, for example, from the DE 19 708 443 known fire protection elements, the hollow profile chambers are equipped with mineral building boards, so-called fire protection boards, with a water-binding chemical, such as potash alum are offset. In this case, the crystal water-binding chemicals may have been incorporated in the mineral material both as a mixture or in the form of layers or in both ways. These fire protection panels, which are simply inserted into the chambers and at most are fixed to rattle, act energy-consuming and serve in a fire-bang to cool the construction. For this purpose, the energy-absorbing release of water of crystallization begins with the fire-protection plates at rising temperatures. The exiting water vapor has a cooling effect, which delays the further heating of the construction.

Also from the EP 1 120 504 is a facade known in fire safety. However, it can be observed that the commonly used aluminum alloys initially become softened with increasing temperature and then change into a molten state at a temperature which is below the temperature to be expected in the event of fire. As a result of the fact that the glass sheets bend under the increasing temperature load, this also means that the construction enclosing them also bends. In the fire-facing, already softened or melted become profile walls holes with the result that the fire protection panels fall out. The construction is then no longer protected and breaks down quickly.

On this basis, the invention has the object, a fire protection element of the type mentioned in such a way that the insertion part as long as possible - shielded from the profile wall - remain in the hollow chambers.

This object is achieved according to the invention in that individual retaining clips are provided in the hollow profiles in the profile longitudinal direction, which surround the individual, also in the profile longitudinal direction abutting insertion part in whole or in part and connect with each other in the region of their joints, wherein the retaining clips are in frictional and / or positive connection with the inner wall of the hollow profiles.

The advantage achieved by the invention initially consists essentially in the fact that the insertion parts are not loosely introduced into the hollow chambers, but are held by the retaining clips on the inner walls of the hollow chambers, so that the complete melting off the fire side facing profile wall does not fall out of the Insertion parts can lead. Since the insertion parts, which are usually used to several successive abutting in the hollow chambers, are joined together in the joint area by the retaining clips, so that there is a "one-piece" insertion part, there is the further advantage that the insert in the upper part of the construction , which heats up faster in case of fire, despite the softening or melting away profile parts is still held by the still given in the lower part of the construction fixation.

Since, moreover, has shown an enhanced fire protection effect in the region of the retaining clips, it is proposed in the invention that additional retaining clips can be provided in the region between the joints of the insertion parts.

In the same sense, it is also expedient that the insertion parts are additionally provided at their free ends with retaining clips.

Further, it is within the scope of the invention advantageous if the insertion parts of substantially rectangular in cross-section shape and the retaining clips are formed as U-shaped metal sheet angle.

It has been found to be an advantageous embodiment that the retaining clip abuts with its two profile legs the broad sides of the insertion profile.

In order to achieve optimum fixation in the hollow chamber, the retaining clip is expediently provided with outwardly directed retaining claws. Here, it has further proven to be useful when the retaining claws of the retaining clip are arranged on the profile back.

The retaining claws can be cut free in a particularly simple and therefore within the scope of the invention preferred embodiment of the sheet metal angle and bent outwards.

Further, it has been found to be favorable in particular for processing, if at least provided for the connection of two insertion parts retaining clip are provided with approximately centrally arranged stop tabs for the end face of the insertion parts. This ensures that both insertion parts to be joined together are encompassed over an approximately equal length by the retaining clip.

The stop tabs are advantageously arranged in the profile legs of the retaining clips, cut out of these and angled inwardly.

To further increase the effect of the insertion parts, they can be covered on one or more of their outer surfaces with Intumeszenzstreifen. These intumescent strips, which begin to melt above about 300 ° C., then penetrate into the gap between the insertion part and the profile and, due to the adhesion forces then occurring, cause an adhesive bond consisting of the fire protection plates, the intumescent material and the aluminum wall. This also delays the breakage of flat wall pieces during the softening phase, even with a heavily deformed frame.

In the context of the invention, it is appropriate here for the intumescent strips to be arranged on the broad sides of the insertion part between the free ends of the profile legs of the retaining clips.

Furthermore, the front sides of the insertion part coming into contact with a corner bracket or a T-connector can likewise be covered with an intumescent strip. This ensures that all caverns remain closed as long as possible so that heat radiation and the direct flame of the fasteners is kept as long as possible.

The hollow profile shown only partially in the drawing is used to build frames for windows, doors, facade parts and the like and is constructed as a fire protection element.

In detail, the hollow profile 1 is made of aluminum, wherein in the interior of the hollow profile insertion parts 2 are arranged, which serve the fire protection. These insertion parts 2 contain fire protection compounds, which consist of preferably water-binding chemicals such as silicate or gypsum building materials. These plug-in parts 2 or fire protection boards act energy-consuming and are used in case of fire to cool the structure.

Since the commonly used aluminum alloys at about 420 ° C are kneaded soft and pass at about 640 ° C in the melted state, the existing fire-resistant elements such construction must withstand much higher temperatures, it is necessary to ensure that even after melting the hollow profile 1 on the side facing the fire, the insertion parts 2 remain within the left-over remains of the hollow sections 1 and protect them as far as possible or as long as possible.

For this purpose, individual retaining brackets 3 are provided in the hollow sections 1 in profile longitudinal direction provided which encompass the individual, also in profile longitudinal direction abutting insert parts 2 wholly or partially and connect with each other in the region of their joints. As a result, from the individual insertion parts 2 "integral" elements are present, which have sufficient stability over their entire length. Since the frame construction heats up slower in the lower region in the event of fire than in the upper region, this ensures that the individual insertion part 2 combined into one unit by the retaining clips 3 are still more securely fixed in the lower part of the construction and thus trim the upper part of the construction ,

In addition, it is provided that the retaining clips 3 are in frictional and / or positive connection with the inner wall of the hollow sections 1, whereby the hollow profiles 1 experience additional stability in case of fire.

Since it has been shown that, in principle, a longer service life of the hollow profiles 1 is achieved in the region of the retaining clips 3, additional retaining clips 3 can also be provided in the region between the joints 4 of the insertion part 2. Also at the free ends 5 of the insertion part 2, it is useful to provide each retaining clips 3.

As can be seen from the drawing, the insertion part 2 - usually of cross-section substantially rectangular shape. The retaining clips 3 are accordingly designed as a U-profile-shaped plate angle, wherein the retaining clip 3 here with their two profile legs 3.1, 3.2 abuts the broad sides of the insertion part 2.

As is clear from the Fig. 1-3 and in particular from the Fig. 4 can be seen, the retaining clip 3 is provided with outwardly directed retaining claws 6, which are supported against the inner wall of the hollow section 1. These retaining claws 6 are cut free from the sheet metal angle and bent outwards.

In the Fig. 4 shown retaining clip 3 is provided for connecting two insertion parts 2 and therefore has approximately centrally arranged stop tabs 7 for the end face of the insertion parts 2. This ensures that the insertion parts 2 to be joined together are encompassed by the retaining clip 3 to the same extent.

The stop tabs 7 are arranged in the profile legs 3.1, 3.2 of the retaining clip 3, cut out of these and angled inwardly.

To further improve the fire protection and the service life, the insertion parts 2 are occupied at one or more of their outer surfaces with Intumeszenzstreifen 8. In the embodiment shown in the drawing, the Intumeszenzstreifen 8 on the broad sides of the insertion part 2, namely between the free ends of the profile legs 3.1, 3.2 of the retaining clips 3 are arranged. In addition, as is clear from the Figures 2 and 3 can be seen, which comes to rest on a corner bracket 9 or a T-connector 10 coming end face 5 of the insertion part 2 also with an Intumeszenzstreifen 8, so that in case of fire all caverns in the area of the corner 9 and the T-connector 10 remain closed as long as possible and thus the heat radiation and the direct flame of the fasteners is kept as long as possible.
