Claims (7)

  1. A plate press (1), in particular a one-level or multilevel cycle press, comprising at least one heating plate (2), at least one press plate (5) and at least one press cushion which is disposed between the press plate (5) and the heating plate (2) and has at least one cushion layer (4) which is liquid at least at the operating of the plate press (1) and which is defined on one side by a fluid-tight membrane (3), wherein the press plate is situated on a side facing a press blank and wherein the membrane (3) is situated on a side opposite the press plate (5) and includes a flexible polymer material, in particular an elastomer material, preferably a silicone, fluorine or a silicone-fluorine mix elastomer, or a fluorine-tetra-polymer, characterized in that the membrane (3) and the press plate (5) are circumferentially connected to one another, namely glued or presses together, in a fluid-tight manner in edge strips (12), each of which protrudes beyond a circumference (13) of the heating plate (2).
  2. The plate press (1) according to claim 1, characterized by circumferential clamping bars (14) which are disposed at the edge strips (12) of the press plate (5) and which clamp the edge strips (12) of the membrane (3) between themselves and the press plate (5) in a fluid-tight manner, wherein connection elements, in particular in the form of screws (15), bolts, rivets or clamps, disposed circumferentially distributed along the edge strips (12) exert in each case a clamping force on the edge bond.
  3. The plate press (1) according to claim 2, characterized in that the clamping bars (12) close a gap region (16) substantially completely between the heating plate (2) and the press plate (5) as soon as the gap occurs during the pressing operation and therefore circumferentially and laterally supports the end faces of the membrane (3).
  4. The plate press according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the membrane (3) is made of a foil material having a thickness between 0.1 mm and 10 mm, preferably between 1 mm and 3 mm, and is provided with a reinforcement insert, in particular a fabric made of metallic and/or polymeric threads, wherein the reinforcement insert is completely embedded in the foil material.
  5. The plate press according to claim 4, characterized in that the foil material is provided with heatconducting inorganic additives, in particular with metal powder and/or powdered silica.
  6. The plate press according to any one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the liquid cushion layer (4) is composed of long-chain and/or cyclical carbon hydrocarbons, in particular hydraulic oil, to which the additives increasing heat conductivity are added, or of a metal or a metal alloy that is liquid at the operating temperature of the plate press (1), in particular an alloy containing lead and/or tin and/or bismuth.
  7. The plate press according to any one of the claims 1 to 6, characterized by a channel (24) which extends through the membrane (3) and/or the press plate (5) and can be closed and opened for feeding or discharging the material of the liquid cushion layer (4).
