Das Schwenkgelenk erlaubt ein Verschwenken des Griffelements relativ zum Festlegeabschnitt, wodurch der Schwerpunkt der Handwerkzeugmaschine relativ zum Anwender verlagert wird. Insbesondere bei einem Zusatzhandgriff, der über ein in Richtung der Schwenkachse wirkendes Betätigungselement verspannt wird, ist die erfindungsgemässe Sperreinrichtung vorteilhaft. the locking device (51) including a pivotable locking element (52) pivotable from a locking position for locking the pivot joint (46) into a release position for releasing the pivot joint (46),
the locking element (52) having engagement means (54) engaging with mating engagement means (35) on the at least one bearing portion (34, 39) of the gripping element (31) in the locking position of the locking element (52), and
mating engagement means (25) engaging with the engagement means (54) of the locking element (52) in the locking position of the locking element (52) being provided on the articulated portion (24) of the fastening portion (21),
characterised in that
the locking device (51) includes a locking element (52) pivotable about an axis (53) aligned parallel to the pivot axis (12) and the mating engagement means (25, 35) are provided in a grid pattern in which they are radially circumferentially spaced from one another. - Auxiliary handle according to claim 1, characterised in that a safety element (56) is provided on the locking element (52) for securing the locking element (52) in the locking position.
