Each additional lateral profile comprises a portion forming a longitudinal clip which is able to deform elastically, and wherein a wing of said main cover profile can be fitted with elastic clamping, so as to form a finishing assembly for performing the functions of threshold element or stop element.
  • the main cover profile is used alone, it allows the realization of the transition element function between two floor coverings.
  • the finishing sets for flooring described in this international patent application WO 2006/116780 have two disadvantages.
  • the first disadvantage is lack of strength and robustness. Indeed, the assembly and maintenance of a profile addition to the main profile by simple elastic clamping do not allow to maintain sufficiently reliable the additional profile on the main profile, particularly when the additional profile is subjected to lateral forces having the effect of removing and separating said main profile.
