- the invention is broadly concerned with a three-dimensional support system of upright supports and horizontal elements connected to the upright supports.
- the latter are in particular shelves, clothes rails or other horizontal organs of a shelving system.
- the document EP 0 864 273 A1 relates to stands or supports for a modular furniture with horizontal elements, which are attached to the uprights or columns.
- the invention has the object of providing such a shelving system in such a way that the items can be assembled or mounted in particular on site in a simple manner, but nevertheless a heavy-duty, three-dimensional structure is created.
- the invention is defined by the features of claim 1.
- connection between the uprights and the horizontal transverse organs takes place by means of connecting elements which are completely housed inside the supports and / or crossmembers. The connection is therefore not visible from the outside.
- the upright supports are designed as hollow profiles, in particular as drawn extruded profiles of metal or aluminum alloy with the molded-edge groove.
- the supports or the hollow profiles are dimensioned relatively wide with a relatively small depth.
- the uprights are connected to cross members, preferably also made of hollow profiles in the same design and dimension as the supports, the cross member are connected via fittings with the uprights, with a portion within the cross member formed as a hollow profile and lie with another portion within the mutually facing grooves of the supports to be connected, such that the cross member directly abut the upright supports, preferably flush with the supports.
- Further connecting means are used for attachment of support profiles, which are also arranged between the uprights and connected via special connectors with the support members of the support profile within the grooves.
- Another special feature is the formation of a clothes rail, which is used in conjunction with the shelving system or independently of this.
- Fig. 1 - Fig. 14 is a structure shown in its entirety and in detail, which is preferably used as a shelf or shelving system application.
- the structure consists of (two) lateral support frames 10, 11 and of transverse elements, which are connected to the lateral supporting frames 10, 11.
- the transverse elements are, for example, transverse, horizontal plates, namely shelves 12. These may also be other parts of the device, for example a clothes rail 13.
- the support frames 10, 11 are formed in a special way and in Fig. 1 shown in view. These are on the one hand upright support members, namely supports 14, 15. These are designed in a special way, namely as hollow profiles made of plastic or in particular of extruded aluminum profiles or of aluminum alloys.
- the cross-sectional shape of the supports 14, 15 results in an advantageous performance 4 and FIG. 5 ,
- the supports 14, 15 are therefore very deep in relation to the profile width.
- the supports 14, 15 and the hollow profiles according to Fig. 4, Fig. 5 are designed in a special way to the connection with other support elements as well as for the attachment of transverse components.
- An important design feature is formed on at least one edge of the hollow profile or the supports 14, 15 groove 16, in particular a U-shaped Has cross-section and extends over the full length of the profile or over the full height of the support 14, 15.
- the groove 16 is bounded by large side walls 17, 18 of the hollow profile, which are formed on the edge as a projecting, free profile legs.
- a (first) transverse wall forms a bottom 19 of the groove 16. This or the transverse wall is here provided with a central slot 20.
- transverse walls 21, 22 are formed within the hollow profile. These serve to stabilize the wide hollow profile and / or for attachment of cross-sectionally annular profile lugs 23, 24. Within the hollow profile more (two)
The
The inventive type of connection of elements of the support system, in particular a shelving system is the use of separate profiles with connecting members, which are positioned as a separate part or on the support profile.
The system parts to be connected to the
The supports 14, 15 are connected as upright support elements of the
The
Another special feature is the formation of the
Thus, regardless of the adjusted height position of the

Another special feature is the
In the present example, a preferably made of
The clothes rail 13 can be integrated into the described support system, namely, for example, connected to the correspondingly arranged
