Description

Stand der TechnikState of the art

In cleaning machines, in particular continuous-flow dishwashers, with several tanks, the rinse water tanks of the rinse zone are filled with fresh water and heated. Furthermore, detergent is added to the stored rinse water. In multi-tank dishwashers, in particular continuous-flow dishwashers, a plurality of dishwashing zones can be arranged one behind the other, whose dishwashing water has, for example, different temperatures with different cleaning agents and / or with different cleaning agent concentrations. A rinse zone is generally designed as a chamber and typically has an inlet opening and an outlet opening. Through these openings, the items to be washed are transported through the respective rinsing zone by means of the conveyor. In general, a rinsing zone has a rinsing water tank and a circulating pump, which sucks rinsing water from the rinsing water tank and sprayed onto the material to be cleaned via a spray system associated with the rinsing zone. In this case, the dirt adhering to the items to be washed is removed. Then the rinse water flows back together with the rinsed dirt back into the rinse water tank. The rinsed dirt is filtered out of the rinse water through a sieve system. Usually, screen plates with hole diameters of 2 mm to 4 mm are used, which cover the entire rinsing water tank. Dirt particles which are smaller than this hole diameter are recycled together with the rinsing water.

Subsequently, in the continuous-flow dishwasher, detergent and dirt residues, which are loosely disposed on the items to be washed, are rinsed off by means of fresh water in one or more rinsing zones. The fresh water can be cold or heated hot fresh water. Heated fresh water may additionally be accompanied by a rinse aid. The fresh water or rinse water is then usually wholly or partially fed to a rinse water tank a rinsing zone to dilute the there located in Spülwasserertank debris. After going through one or more rinsing zones, the material to be cleaned optionally passes through one or more drying zones, in which or which the items to be washed are dried.

The above-mentioned screen plates in the at least one rinsing zone often have the disadvantage that the dirt filtered out of the rinsing water remains on them and is not actively removed from the rinsing zone. By dropping the rinse water of this dirt can be further crushed and then passes with a time delay also in the rinse water of the rinse zone, where it increases the dirt content of the rinse water. This is particularly disadvantageous because the respective cleaning performance of a rinsing zone typically decreases with the amount of dirt in the circulated rinsing water.

The dirt content of the rinsing water of the rinsing zone can be counteracted by an increase in the proportion of rinse water supplied to the rinsing zone from the final rinse zone. The disadvantage, however, is that with this method, the consumption of detergent, which must be added to the rinse water, and the required heating power in the same ratio increase. This increases operating costs and environmental impact.

Another way to reduce the amount of dirt in the rinse water of the rinse zone is the use of smaller diameter screen plates in the rinse zone. However, with a smaller diameter of the screen plates increases the risk that the screen plate clogged. A partial or complete blockage of the screen plate causes, however, that no longer sufficient rinse water flows back into the Spülwasservorratstank, whereby the pump pressure at which the items to be washed with rinse water decreases, and thus the rinsing effect is adversely affected.

If a certain dirt content in the rinse water is exceeded in the rinsing zone despite the commonly used sieve plates and the supply of rinse water from the final rinse, the entire Spülwassertankinhalt must be changed as a rule. This creates costs for fresh water and wastewater. Furthermore, this usually means a downtime for the continuous dishwasher, as well as increased staff costs for cleaning the respective rinse zone and costs of heating energy for heating the rinse water to the preset temperature in the order of 60 ° C and costs for the new detergent, which the rinse water must be added again.

From the field of Einkammerspülmaschinen filter systems are known in which the Spülwasservorratstank is also covered by a screen plate. In a region of the screen plate, however, a coarse filter is used, which is followed by a fine screen. The rinse water is also circulated within the program steps "Rinse". Part of the rinse water flows through the coarse screen through the fine screen. In this also the fine dirt components of the rinse water are retained. A wastewater pump promotes the rinse water together with the fine and coarse dirt from the fine sieve into the waste water when changing the rinse water.

Such a device is in DE 24 51 822 C2 described. The device described in this publication discloses a collecting pot for a Geschürspülmaschine with a first, connected to a drain pump suction and a second, connected to a circulation pump suction. The first and second suction chambers are connected to each other by a fine filter screen. In a suction step, rinsing liquid is sucked out of the dishwasher, wherein rinsing liquid is withdrawn from both suction chambers through the rinsing pump.

In DE 14 28 358 a further embodiment of a Einkammerspülmaschine is shown. This embodiment additionally has spray nozzles, which spray from the outside onto a fine filter, whereby the fine filter is cleaned and dirt residues can be removed by means of a sewage pump. A similar self-cleaning principle, in which a filter element is cleaned by means of a spray nozzle, is also in EP 0 976 359 A1 and DE 69 820 625 T2 disclosed. EP 1 256 308 A2 refers to a device which in addition to a spray nozzle additionally has a dirt crusher.

The devices known from the prior art typically function in that the purge operation is interrupted for a cleaning of the fine sieve. In this case, a separate program step of a Feinsiebreinigung is executed with switched off rinse water pump. This is due in particular to the fact that in the devices described in the rinsing operation, the fine sieve is constantly flowed through by a rinsing liquid in a filter direction, so that the fine sieve is not directly accessible for cleaning (for example, spraying from the outside). This interruption of the rinsing operation for cleaning the screens used thus means an additional amount of time during which the respective rinsing chamber can not be used.

The described, known from the prior art embodiments is thus common that they are designed for use in single-tank water change machines and are not readily transferable to a continuous rinsing zone of a multi-tank continuous dishwasher. In a multi-tank continuous-flow dishwasher, a rinse-water circulation pump operates permanently, with larger amounts of rinse water being circulated per minute, and thus constantly feeding larger amounts of rinse water to the fine filter. A cleaning of the sieves used, for example by spraying, especially in a separate cleaning step, is technically difficult to realize in such an operation and would, especially in commercial applications, lead to an expensive, because many interruptions having purge operation.

Eine weitere bekannte Vorrichtung ist in US-A- 3 533 841 beschrieben.Another known device is in US-A-3,533,841 described.

Offenbarung der ErfindungDisclosure of the invention

The present invention has for its object to provide a filter device which avoids the disadvantages of the above solutions from the prior art. This object is achieved by the technical teaching given in claim 1 Vorteilhalfte further developments of the invention are set forth in the dependent claims.

According to the invention, a filter insert is proposed, which is preferably arranged below a coarse sieve or the like in the rinsing tank of a rinsing zone of a continuous dishwasher and is provided with a number of longitudinal ribs provided at a regular pitch. The longitudinal ribs extend in a direction in which the bottom of the filter cartridge, which has flumes lying between the longitudinal ribs, is inclined. This means that the filter insert, which is preferably box-shaped and can be easily hooked into the rinsing tank of a continuous dishwasher, has a slope which is suitable to carry out in the flumes gutters collected there particles into a separate filter box.

The filter insert preferably has longitudinal ribs arranged in a regular graduation and extending in the longitudinal direction corresponding to the formed flow gradient. These longitudinal ribs have a substantially triangular appearance and extend with their side surfaces from a crest at a cone angle of up to 35 ° to their corresponding footprint on the top of the flumes. Due to the division in which the longitudinal ribs are arranged in the filter insert, there is a corresponding number of flumes. The flumes are preferably formed in the closed bottom with a lateral edge, so that there is a sufficient, permitting a leaching particles permeable film of rinse water flows to each formed in a flume drain opening or a common opening, below a filter box for receiving the washed-off Particles arranged is. The filter box below the filter insert can be designed box-shaped, for example, in production technology simple manner and have a separate delivery unit.

While the individual flow channels extending between the longitudinal ribs of the filter insert have a closed surface, an opening pattern is formed in the side surfaces of the individual longitudinal ribs. This opening pattern is preferably chosen so that larger dirt particles do not pass through this, but hit laterally from the side surfaces arranged in the cone angle with respect to one another on the flumes, from which they are transported away in the direction of the discharge openings by the flotation water film forming there. The opening pattern in the longitudinal ribs bounding side surfaces is made in a size of 1 to 3 mm, which allows the passage of rinsing liquid in the underneath arranged tank of the rinsing zone, but prevents larger particles from entering the lying below the filter cartridge tank.

Preferably, the filter insert is designed as a suspendable box module in which the longitudinal ribs extend with a gradient in the direction of the bottom of the filter insert formed, each flume assigned to a common drain opening / en. The slope can be adjusted by the ground, d. H. the Schwemmrinnen having a solid unperforated surface, in the area of the drain opening / s deeper lying in the box insert is / are as the drain opening / s opposite side of the box-shaped filter insert.

Preferably, the filter insert is formed below the triangular-shaped longitudinal ribs with a free space, d. H. through the opening pattern, which are formed in the side surfaces of the longitudinal ribs, an unhindered passage of rinse water into the rinsing tank arranged underneath the respective rinsing zone of the continuous dishwasher is possible. Preferably, passing through the individual flumes and the drain holes in the drip pan particles in an active filter, which is formed by the filter box with belonging aggregate and can be cleaned from time to time according to the degree of contamination.

The following statements relate to cleaning machines, in particular to continuous cleaning machines and in particular to continuous dishwashers. In these cutlery, dishes, trays and serving for preparing food containers and the like are cleaned in no time. These continuous washing machines usually comprise an endless conveyor belt, on which the material to be cleaned is either applied directly and passes through all treatment zones of the continuous dishwasher or housed in baskets, which are applied to the transport medium formed in particular as an endless conveyor slide or conveyor rails, wherein the baskets in Be promoted conveying direction through the treatment zones and thereby the cleaning material contained in these is cleaned. Continuous dishwashers usually include optionally a Vorabräumzone, at least one washing or rinsing zone, a final rinse or pump clearing and a drying zone. The representation according to FIG. 1 is a sectional view through a rinsing tank to remove a rinsing zone of a continuous dishwasher.

From the illustration according to FIG. 1 It can be seen that a continuous dishwasher 10, which in FIG. 1 is shown only partially, a rinse tank 12 includes, which is bounded by a tank bottom 14 at the bottom. In the tank bottom 14, a circulating pump 16 is received in an embossment 22. The circulating pump 16 comprises the tank bottom side a filter ring 18, are kept away from the circulating pump 16 with the coarse contaminants. Below the tank bottom 14, the circulation pump 16 includes a laterally outgoing discharge nozzle 20, via which a in FIG. 1 not shown in detail cleaning system is applied within a rinsing zone of the continuous dishwasher 10 with circulated rinse water, which is applied by the cleaning systems, not shown on the material to be cleaned.

The circulation pump 16 is received in the embossment 22 in the tank bottom 14 of the washing tank 12. Above the tank bottom 14 is a filter box 24. The filter box 24 is associated with a delivery unit 26. The filter box 24 is connected via two openings 30, 31 with the delivery unit 26 in connection. About the delivery unit 26, which is mounted laterally on a boundary wall of the rinsing tank 12, in the filter box 24 accumulating rinse water is fed to a circulation and on the other hand, the filtered dirt out cyclically.

From the sectional view according to FIG. 1 moreover it is apparent that the filter box 24 is substantially box-shaped and is bounded by a wall 32 at the side and at the bottom. The filter box 24 in turn constitutes a support surface 34 for a filter cartridge 36. The filter cartridge 36 may be in box form, as will be described below, designed as a one-piece or multi-piece welded sheet metal, as a plastic construction or combinations of sheet metal and plastic , which is placed or mounted in the rinsing tank 12 of the continuous dishwasher 10.

The in FIG. 1 The filter insert 36, which is embodied here in the form of a box construction, comprises a peripheral bearing surface 34 on which a coarse screen 28 is placed. The coarse screen 28, which rests on the support surface 34 of the filter cartridge 36, is an insert to keep away coarse contaminants.

The longitudinal ribs 38 of in FIG. 1 only partially shown filter insert 36 include side surfaces 46. The longitudinal ribs 38 have a substantially triangular-shaped cross-section and are bounded by two side surfaces 46 which are interconnected along a parallel to the longitudinal ribs 38 extending comb 44. The side surfaces 46 of each longitudinal rib 38 are provided with an opening pattern 42 throughout, with each of the comb 44 and the surface portion 53 a few mm unperforated sheet metal, compare positions 53 and 54, remain standing (see illustration according to FIG FIG. 5 ).

Although in the illustration according to FIG. 1 an opening pattern 42 is formed in the side surfaces 46 of the longitudinal ribs 38 in the filter cartridge 36, longitudinal slots or other geometry of openings in the side surfaces 46 of the longitudinal ribs 38 may instead be formed. It is crucial that due to the small diameter or the small length or width dimensions of the opening pattern 42 in the side surfaces 46 no coarse particles can pass through the filter cartridge 36 into the rinse tank 12 of the continuous dishwasher 10.

The sectional view according to FIG. 1 In addition, it can be seen that 38 drainage channels 48 extend between the individual longitudinal ribs. The flumes 48 are formed by a closed surface portion 52 extending between each two spaced apart longitudinal ribs 38 of the filter cartridge 36 and the unperforated portions 53 in the longitudinal ribs 38. The flumes 48 take from the side surfaces 46 by the dripping rinse water rinsed particles and due to their gradient in the direction of drain opening / s 50, these particles in the flow direction 56 in the direction of the drain opening 50 slosh. Under the respective drain opening / s 50 extends - as in FIG. 1 shown - the filter box 24th

The in FIG. 1 Partially reproduced filter cartridge 36 includes a number of longitudinal ribs 38 connected to each other with the closed surface portions 52 forming the flumes 48 for purging the retained particles. How out FIG. 1 can be seen, the filter box 24 includes the openings 30, 31, through which in the filter box 24 accumulated rinse water is conveyed back by means of the delivery unit 26 in the recirculation cycle, and dirt particles can be conveyed out.

From the illustration according to FIG. 2 is a perspective top view of a trained in box form filter insert.

FIG. 2 shows that the filter cartridge 36 has a plurality of spaced-apart longitudinal ribs 38. Each of the longitudinal ribs 38 is bounded by two side surfaces 46, which are connected to one another cohesively along the comb 44. In the side surfaces 46 is a in the illustration according to FIG. 2 only indicated opening pattern 42 is formed, which is along the entire extent or in partial areas of the side surfaces 46 of the longitudinal ribs 38 in this and above and below unperforated sections 53, 54, as in FIG. 5 shown, has. From the in FIG. 2 Perspective reproduced top view of the filter cartridge 36 shows that the individual, arranged substantially parallel to each other longitudinal ribs 38 are arranged in a division 72. According to the division 72, closed surface sections 52 result, which form the flumes 48 with the sections 53 in the longitudinal ribs 38. The rinsing water rinsed in the respective rinsing zones of the material to be cleaned rinse water, by which the contaminants are dissolved on this, meets the longitudinal ribs 38. The liquid portion passes through the opening pattern 42 which interconnected over the length of the longitudinal ribs 38 in the two at the comb 44 Side surfaces 46 is formed. Due to the small opening size of the opening pattern 42 in the side surfaces 46 and the upper unperforated portion 54, the rinse water can drain into the lying below the filter cartridge 36 rinsing tank 12, while the particles contained in the rinse water from the ridges 44 of the longitudinal ribs 38 and due to the inclination of the Side surfaces 46 of these slip off and get into the flumes 48. Due to the proportion of the rinse water, which does not pass through the openings of the opening pattern 42 in the side surfaces 46, but enters the flumes 48, this creates a flow in the flow direction 56 a. Due to the liquid film forming on the closed surface portions 52 of the flumes 48, the particles are directed through the slope 64 of the filter cartridge 56 towards the drain opening (s) 50 at the end of the flumes 58 through the same drain opening (s) 50 below the filter cartridge 36 Filter box 24 transported.

As seen from the perspective top view FIG. 2 Furthermore, the individual mutually parallel longitudinal ribs 38 of the filter insert 36 are connected to the closed surface portions 52. For illustrative reasons, the opening pattern 42 is shown only in a partial region of the side surfaces 36 of the longitudinal ribs 38.

If the filter cartridge 36, as described below and in FIG. 1 As shown in part, made as a box insert 66, so is located within this box construction, the side of the flumes 48, on which the drain opening / s 50 is / are formed, at a lower level compared to the closed surface portion 52 of the flumes 48 of the filter cartridge 36, so that a flow of the rinsing water and an associated promotion of the pollution components in the flumes 48 in the direction of the discharge openings 50 sets.

Out FIG. 2 shows that the filter insert 36 is made as a box insert 66 and is formed substantially rectangular. The filter cartridge 36 as a box insert 66 comprises two longitudinal and two transverse sides. From the perspective top view according to FIG. 2 also shows that the individual longitudinal ribs 38 extend parallel to each other and form individual flumes 48 due to the arrangement in the division 72. FIG. 2 shows that the Schwemmrinnen 48 represent closed surface sections and due to the different installation depths 60 and 62 in the region of the drain opening / s 50 or at the / the drain opening / s 50 opposite end have an inclination in the direction of the drain opening / s 50. Also in the illustration according to FIG. 5 It is shown that an opening pattern 42 is formed in the side surfaces 46 of the individual longitudinal ribs 38.

FIG. 6 shows a plan view of the formed in box shape filter insert according to the invention.

From the illustration according to FIG. 6 shows that the filter insert 36 includes a circumferential, designated by reference numeral 34 edge surface which serves as a support surface for a coarse screen 28 to be placed in the filter cartridge 36. By lying loosely on the filter element 36 in box shape 66 Grobsieb 28 coarsest impurities are kept away from the filter cartridge 36 and screened out before reaching the filter cartridge 36.

As FIG. 6 further shows, arranged in the division 72 longitudinal ribs 38 parallel to each other. The longitudinal ribs 38 each have side surfaces 46, which are connected to one another at their upper end along a ridge 44 with a material fit. Each of the side surfaces 46 of the longitudinal ribs 38 includes the opening pattern 42, which for illustrative reasons in the illustration according to the FIGS. 1 and 5 on each of the longitudinal ribs 38 is merely indicated.

Out FIG. 6 shows that the individual Schwemmrinnen 48 are each formed by a side surface 46 of two adjacently arranged longitudinal ribs 38. In accordance with the division 72, a width of the closed surface sections 52 forming the flumes 48 (see FIG FIG. 8 ).

From the illustration according to FIG. 6 moreover, it is apparent that the drain opening / s 50 is in accordance with the FIGS. 2, 3 and 4 is substantially rectangular in shape / are formed and at the end of the formed by the closed surface portions 52 Schwemmrinnen 48 in the bottom of the filter cartridge 36 in box form 66 is / are.

FIG. 7 shows a section through the filter cartridge according to FIG. 6 along the intersection VV.

From the in FIG. 7 1, the filter insert 36, formed in box shape 66, has a contact surface 54, which is essentially formed by the underside of the closed surface sections 52. Out FIG. 7 In addition, it is apparent that the second installation depth 62 of the flumes 48 in the region of the drain opening (s) 50 is greater than the first installation depth 60 at the end of the flumes 48 in the filter insert 36 opposite the drain opening (s) 50. This produces the slope 64 Also in the sectional view according to FIG. 7 the opening pattern 42 is indicated in the side surfaces 46 of the longitudinal ribs 38. Along the ridge 44, which forms the top of each of the longitudinal ribs 38, two side surfaces 46 are connected to each other with opening pattern 42.

The perspective top view according to the representation in FIG. 2 can be seen that the filter cartridge 36 in box shape 66, the support surface 34 for the larger openings and containing coarse impurities restraining Grobsieb 28 includes. In the illustration according to FIG. 2 the first installation depth 60 and the second installation depth 62 are shown, through which the slope forming the flumes 48 closed surface portions 52 is impressed. Due to the gradient of each of the flumes 48 is a transport of impurities in the flow direction 56 in the direction of the discharge openings 50 at the end of the flumes 48 a.

The representation according to FIG. 8 is a section through the proposed inventions filter insert.

Out FIG. 8 shows that according to the pitch 72 of the filter cartridge 36 with respect to the arrangement of the longitudinal ribs 38, a resulting width 70 of the flumes 48 sets. Each of the flumes 48 is formed by the unperforated portions 53 of one of the side surfaces 46 of two adjacently disposed longitudinal ribs 38 and the closed surface portion 52. Each of the longitudinal ribs 38 has a free space 68 through which the rinse water passing through the openings of the opening pattern 42 in each of the side surfaces 46 drips toward the rinse tank 12 of the continuous-type dishwasher 10. From the illustration according to FIG. 8 can be further seen that the two side surfaces 46, each forming a longitudinal rib 38, include an angle 74 on the comb 44, which is preferably between 15 ° and 35 °. It is thereby achieved that the two side surfaces 46 of each of the longitudinal ribs 38 are very steep with respect to the flumes 48. As a result, and by the surfaces 54 which are closed in the region of the combs, the rinsing water dripping steadily from the top side on the side surfaces 46 can rinse off particles which adhere to the respective flumes 48.
