Definitions
- the rinse water tanks of the rinse zone are filled with fresh water and heated. Furthermore, detergent is added to the stored rinse water.
- a plurality of dishwashing zones can be arranged one behind the other, whose dishwashing water has, for example, different temperatures with different cleaning agents and / or with different cleaning agent concentrations.
- a rinse zone is generally designed as a chamber and typically has an inlet opening and an outlet opening. Through these openings, the items to be washed are transported through the respective rinsing zone by means of the conveyor.
- a rinsing zone has a rinsing water tank and a circulating pump, which sucks rinsing water from the rinsing water tank and sprayed onto the material to be cleaned via a spray system associated with the rinsing zone.
- a spray system associated with the rinsing zone.
- the dirt adhering to the items to be washed is removed.
- the rinse water flows back together with the rinsed dirt back into the rinse water tank.
- the rinsed dirt is filtered out of the rinse water through a sieve system.
- screen plates with hole diameters of 2 mm to 4 mm are used, which cover the entire rinsing water tank. Dirt particles which are smaller than this hole diameter are recycled together with the rinsing water.
- detergent and dirt residues which are loosely disposed on the items to be washed, are rinsed off by means of fresh water in one or more rinsing zones.
- the fresh water can be cold or heated hot fresh water. Heated fresh water may additionally be accompanied by a rinse aid.
- the fresh water or rinse water is then usually wholly or partially fed to a rinse water tank a rinsing zone to dilute the there located in Spülwasserertank debris.
- the material to be cleaned optionally passes through one or more drying zones, in which or which the items to be washed are dried.
- the above-mentioned screen plates in the at least one rinsing zone often have the disadvantage that the dirt filtered out of the rinsing water remains on them and is not actively removed from the rinsing zone. By dropping the rinse water of this dirt can be further crushed and then passes with a time delay also in the rinse water of the rinse zone, where it increases the dirt content of the rinse water. This is particularly disadvantageous because the respective cleaning performance of a rinsing zone typically decreases with the amount of dirt in the circulated rinsing water.
- the dirt content of the rinsing water of the rinsing zone can be counteracted by an increase in the proportion of rinse water supplied to the rinsing zone from the final rinse zone.
- the disadvantage is that with this method, the consumption of detergent, which must be added to the rinse water, and the required heating power in the same ratio increase. This increases operating costs and environmental impact.
- Such a device is in DE 24 51 822 C2 described.
- the device described in this publication discloses a collecting pot for a Geschür Heidelbergmaschine with a first, connected to a drain pump suction and a second, connected to a circulation pump suction.
- the first and second suction chambers are connected to each other by a fine filter screen.
- rinsing liquid is sucked out of the dishwasher, wherein rinsing liquid is withdrawn from both suction chambers through the rinsing pump.
- the devices known from the prior art typically function in that the purge operation is interrupted for a cleaning of the fine sieve.
- a separate program step of a Feinsiebgraphy is executed with switched off rinse water pump.
- the fine sieve is constantly flowed through by a rinsing liquid in a filter direction, so that the fine sieve is not directly accessible for cleaning (for example, spraying from the outside).
- This interruption of the rinsing operation for cleaning the screens used thus means an additional amount of time during which the respective rinsing chamber can not be used.
- a rinse-water circulation pump operates permanently, with larger amounts of rinse water being circulated per minute, and thus constantly feeding larger amounts of rinse water to the fine filter.
- a cleaning of the sieves used, for example by spraying, especially in a separate cleaning step, is technically difficult to realize in such an operation and would, especially in commercial applications, lead to an expensive, because many interruptions having purge operation.
- the present invention has for its object to provide a filter device which avoids the disadvantages of the above solutions from the prior art. This object is achieved by the technical teaching given in claim 1 Stammte further developments of the invention are set forth in the dependent claims.

Abstract
Description
In cleaning machines, in particular continuous-flow dishwashers, with several tanks, the rinse water tanks of the rinse zone are filled with fresh water and heated. Furthermore, detergent is added to the stored rinse water. In multi-tank dishwashers, in particular continuous-flow dishwashers, a plurality of dishwashing zones can be arranged one behind the other, whose dishwashing water has, for example, different temperatures with different cleaning agents and / or with different cleaning agent concentrations. A rinse zone is generally designed as a chamber and typically has an inlet opening and an outlet opening. Through these openings, the items to be washed are transported through the respective rinsing zone by means of the conveyor. In general, a rinsing zone has a rinsing water tank and a circulating pump, which sucks rinsing water from the rinsing water tank and sprayed onto the material to be cleaned via a spray system associated with the rinsing zone. In this case, the dirt adhering to the items to be washed is removed. Then the rinse water flows back together with the rinsed dirt back into the rinse water tank. The rinsed dirt is filtered out of the rinse water through a sieve system. Usually, screen plates with hole diameters of 2 mm to 4 mm are used, which cover the entire rinsing water tank. Dirt particles which are smaller than this hole diameter are recycled together with the rinsing water.
Subsequently, in the continuous-flow dishwasher, detergent and dirt residues, which are loosely disposed on the items to be washed, are rinsed off by means of fresh water in one or more rinsing zones. The fresh water can be cold or heated hot fresh water. Heated fresh water may additionally be accompanied by a rinse aid. The fresh water or rinse water is then usually wholly or partially fed to a rinse water tank a rinsing zone to dilute the there located in Spülwasserertank debris. After going through one or more rinsing zones, the material to be cleaned optionally passes through one or more drying zones, in which or which the items to be washed are dried.
The above-mentioned screen plates in the at least one rinsing zone often have the disadvantage that the dirt filtered out of the rinsing water remains on them and is not actively removed from the rinsing zone.
The dirt content of the rinsing water of the rinsing zone can be counteracted by an increase in the proportion of rinse water supplied to the rinsing zone from the final rinse zone. The disadvantage, however, is that with this method, the consumption of detergent, which must be added to the rinse water, and the required heating power in the same ratio increase. This increases operating costs and environmental impact.
Another way to reduce the amount of dirt in the rinse water of the rinse zone is the use of smaller diameter screen plates in the rinse zone. However, with a smaller diameter of the screen plates increases the risk that the screen plate clogged. A partial or complete blockage of the screen plate causes, however, that no longer sufficient rinse water flows back into the Spülwasservorratstank, whereby the pump pressure at which the items to be washed with rinse water decreases, and thus the rinsing effect is adversely affected.
If a certain dirt content in the rinse water is exceeded in the rinsing zone despite the commonly used sieve plates and the supply of rinse water from the final rinse, the entire Spülwassertankinhalt must be changed as a rule. This creates costs for fresh water and wastewater. Furthermore, this usually means a downtime for the continuous dishwasher, as well as increased staff costs for cleaning the respective rinse zone and costs of heating energy for heating the rinse water to the preset temperature in the order of 60 ° C and costs for the new detergent, which the rinse water must be added again.
From the field of Einkammerspülmaschinen filter systems are known in which the Spülwasservorratstank is also covered by a screen plate. In a region of the screen plate, however, a coarse filter is used, which is followed by a fine screen. The rinse water is also circulated within the program steps "Rinse". Part of the rinse water flows through the coarse screen through the fine screen. In this also the fine dirt components of the rinse water are retained. A wastewater pump promotes the rinse water together with the fine and coarse dirt from the fine sieve into the waste water when changing the rinse water.

The devices known from the prior art typically function in that the purge operation is interrupted for a cleaning of the fine sieve. In this case, a separate program step of a Feinsiebreinigung is executed with switched off rinse water pump. This is due in particular to the fact that in the devices described in the rinsing operation, the fine sieve is constantly flowed through by a rinsing liquid in a filter direction, so that the fine sieve is not directly accessible for cleaning (for example, spraying from the outside). This interruption of the rinsing operation for cleaning the screens used thus means an additional amount of time during which the respective rinsing chamber can not be used.
The described, known from the prior art embodiments is thus common that they are designed for use in single-tank water change machines and are not readily transferable to a continuous rinsing zone of a multi-tank continuous dishwasher. In a multi-tank continuous-flow dishwasher, a rinse-water circulation pump operates permanently, with larger amounts of rinse water being circulated per minute, and thus constantly feeding larger amounts of rinse water to the fine filter. A cleaning of the sieves used, for example by spraying, especially in a separate cleaning step, is technically difficult to realize in such an operation and would, especially in commercial applications, lead to an expensive, because many interruptions having purge operation.

The present invention has for its object to provide a filter device which avoids the disadvantages of the above solutions from the prior art. This object is achieved by the technical teaching given in claim 1 Vorteilhalfte further developments of the invention are set forth in the dependent claims.
According to the invention, a filter insert is proposed, which is preferably arranged below a coarse sieve or the like in the rinsing tank of a rinsing zone of a continuous dishwasher and is provided with a number of longitudinal ribs provided at a regular pitch. The longitudinal ribs extend in a direction in which the bottom of the filter cartridge, which has flumes lying between the longitudinal ribs, is inclined. This means that the filter insert, which is preferably box-shaped and can be easily hooked into the rinsing tank of a continuous dishwasher, has a slope which is suitable to carry out in the flumes gutters collected there particles into a separate filter box.
The filter insert preferably has longitudinal ribs arranged in a regular graduation and extending in the longitudinal direction corresponding to the formed flow gradient. These longitudinal ribs have a substantially triangular appearance and extend with their side surfaces from a crest at a cone angle of up to 35 ° to their corresponding footprint on the top of the flumes. Due to the division in which the longitudinal ribs are arranged in the filter insert, there is a corresponding number of flumes. The flumes are preferably formed in the closed bottom with a lateral edge, so that there is a sufficient, permitting a leaching particles permeable film of rinse water flows to each formed in a flume drain opening or a common opening, below a filter box for receiving the washed-off Particles arranged is. The filter box below the filter insert can be designed box-shaped, for example, in production technology simple manner and have a separate delivery unit.
While the individual flow channels extending between the longitudinal ribs of the filter insert have a closed surface, an opening pattern is formed in the side surfaces of the individual longitudinal ribs. This opening pattern is preferably chosen so that larger dirt particles do not pass through this, but hit laterally from the side surfaces arranged in the cone angle with respect to one another on the flumes, from which they are transported away in the direction of the discharge openings by the flotation water film forming there. The opening pattern in the longitudinal ribs bounding side surfaces is made in a size of 1 to 3 mm, which allows the passage of rinsing liquid in the underneath arranged tank of the rinsing zone, but prevents larger particles from entering the lying below the filter cartridge tank.
Preferably, the filter insert is designed as a suspendable box module in which the longitudinal ribs extend with a gradient in the direction of the bottom of the filter insert formed, each flume assigned to a common drain opening / en. The slope can be adjusted by the ground, d. H. the Schwemmrinnen having a solid unperforated surface, in the area of the drain opening / s deeper lying in the box insert is / are as the drain opening / s opposite side of the box-shaped filter insert.
Preferably, the filter insert is formed below the triangular-shaped longitudinal ribs with a free space, d. H. through the opening pattern, which are formed in the side surfaces of the longitudinal ribs, an unhindered passage of rinse water into the rinsing tank arranged underneath the respective rinsing zone of the continuous dishwasher is possible. Preferably, passing through the individual flumes and the drain holes in the drip pan particles in an active filter, which is formed by the filter box with belonging aggregate and can be cleaned from time to time according to the degree of contamination.
