Definitions
- the present invention relates to a product presentation device having at least two pots connected by a connecting region located in their upper part, according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Products such as yogurts are usually delivered to stores in cardboard bundles arranged on a pallet.
- the grouping trays are generally very simple, having a bottom whose periphery is surrounded by a wall ensuring the maintenance of the products inside.
- the products are removed from the grouping trays, and the trays are evacuated.
- the grouping trays are placed directly on the shelves.
- a first problem is related to the environment. To minimize the harmful impact of packaging, governments in different countries encourage the reduction of packaging and the use of recyclable materials.
- a second problem lies in the presentation of the products in the case where the grouping cardboard is put in linear. Indeed, the presence of cardboard "hides” the grouped products. On the other hand, when these boxes are equipped with opening devices, they are poorly mastered and unsightly.
- a third problem is cooling in the case of fresh products such as yogurts.
- the stirred yogurts are fermented in vats, then potted and cooled in a tunnel up to 5 ° C.
- the conventional grouping trays slow down the cooling, because of the walls which form the periphery. To reduce this disadvantage, it is known to open these walls to facilitate the flow of air.
- a fourth problem is the stacking of pots on pallets whose height is about 2 meters.
- the grouping trays are stacked on each other by their bottom which rests on the vertical walls forming the periphery of these trays and especially on the products of the lower layer or layers which thus support most of the weight.
- the present invention relates to a device for presenting products in the shelves of a store that is able to avoid at least one of the aforementioned drawbacks.
- a said partition wall extends from a front edge to a rear edge of the plate, which makes it possible to best contribute to the compressive strength of the pairs of pots by carrying them by the middle over the entire length of the connection between the pots.
- the device may comprise a plurality of separation walls separated by a distance corresponding to 2 cavities.
- the products may be grouped in multiples of two, in particular in groups of 2, 4, 6 or 8 pots arranged in one or more rows.
- At least one partition wall can extend from one edge to the other of the blank.
- the device is generally formed from a single blank, especially cardboard.
- the bottom of the tray is advantageously bordered by a first wall adapted to hold the products and along a first side of the bottom.
- the first wall is extended on either side by a second and a third wall which are adjacent to it and which extend over part of a second and a third side adjacent to the first side, in particular on less than half the length of the second and third sides, and more particularly about one-third of this length.
- the device can be characterized in that the first wall is formed by folding a first hinged flap on the first side of the plate and in that the second and third wall are formed by folding a second and a third hinged flap on the second and third sides of the tray, which may have a bearing flap partially overlapping with the first flap.
- the device may comprise at least one holding flap hinged to a said folded region edge to edge and coming into abutment between the first holding region, which by folding and gluing of three overlapping flaps reinforces the rear portion which is used for the manipulation, while inscribing the cut of the blank in a rectangle of optimal size.
- At least one holding wall may have at its lower part and at its upper part an extension and a complementary cut which cooperate during the superposition of the products.
- At least the bottom of the tray and at least one partition wall may have openings so as to facilitate air circulation.
- a plate 1 has a bottom 2 of generally rectangular shape and two partition walls 4 and 5 extending parallel to the sides 23 and 24 preferably between the front edge 25 and a rear wall 22.
- This rear wall 22 is lined with two side walls 20 and 21 adjacent thereto and extending over a portion of the length, here about one-third of the two sides 23 and 24.
- the bottom 22 has a gripping opening 26 'obtained by folding at 90 ° and gluing a cut flap 26 which allows a reinforcement in this area.
- the side walls 20 and 21 have an upper edge 32 which extends to about one-third of the sides 23 and 24 from the rear edge 25 ', and which extends forwards by a cut-off portion 31 and a vertical edge 30 and rearward by a raised extension 33 defined by a cut-off 33 'and an upper edge 33 ".
- side walls 20 and 21 are extended by flaps 60 and 61 which overlap the wall 22 and have an upper edge 35 along the upper edge 36 of the wall 22 and an extension extension 34 defined by a section cut 34 'and an upper edge 34 ".
- the side walls 20 and 21 have, at their lower rear part, trapezoidal cuts 37 complementary to the extensions 33, and are adjacent to trapezoidal cuts 38 of the flaps 60 and 61, which are complementary to the extensions 34, these extensions and cutouts making it possible to to superpose the trays while maintaining them, also because of the cuts 24 'and 25 "of the sides 24 and 25', extensions and complementary cuts may be provided in the flap 22, in particular in the absence of the flaps 60 and 61.
- Openings 26 ', 27, 28, 29, 45, 55 are formed respectively in the wall 22 and / or the walls 20 and 21 and / or the bottom 2, and / or the separating panels 4 and 5 in order to allow the optionally a better air circulation for products subjected to a thermal step such as cooling. These openings are formed at the spaces 74 between the pots 72.
- FIGS. 2a and 2b are distinguished from Figures 1a and 1b by holding elements deployed to two retaining flaps 42 and 43, as well as 52 and 53 (Figure 2c) obtained by cutouts 44 'and 44 ", and 54' and 54" which are deployed to form two shutters 90 ° 42 and 43 on the one hand and 52 and 53 on the other hand, which are easily torn off.
- These optional holding elements 52 and 53 may be arranged, preferably near the front edge 25 as shown, to facilitate their tearing or folding during the shelves, or even in the space 74 between two products. Just make precuts in a cardboard blank to get them.
- one or more holding devices can be implemented with a single deployable flap.
- the Figures 3a and 3b represent a presentation device associating a tray described above and pots of yogurts by four (quadrette 75) for the figure 3a and by eight (reference 80) for the figure 3b .
- FIGS. 4c and 4b illustrate the superimposition of the presentation devices with support by the trapezoidal cutouts 37 and 38 and the raised extensions 33 and 34 (see figure 4c ).
- the yoghurt pots 72 are arranged astride the walls 4 and 5, two pots of a quadrette 75 being disposed on each side of a wall.
- the figure 5 shows the arrangement of yogurts by 8 (reference 80) either laterally or in the length of the tray.
- the height of the partition walls 4 and 5 is chosen so that their upper face 48, 58 comes into substantially contact with the lower face 71 of the bridge regions 70 separating the pots 72. Because of this, and since the walls 4 and 5 are located between pots integral with each other (and not at the periphery of the plate as in the prior art), the force exerted on the pots is greatly reduced and the effort can be transmitted for the most part by the walls 4 and 5 when palletizing on pallets whose nominal height is generally of the order of 2 meters.
- the presentation device which is designed to be placed on the shelf eliminates or significantly reduces the cardboards in which the pots are packed and which are brought home by the consumers, hence the problems referred to above for which an eco-tax is levied.
- the device as described has advantages as to shelving.
- the tray may be covered with printed information that will be discovered as and when the products are collected by the customers.
- the side flaps 20 and 21 and the folded flaps 60 and 61 mechanically reinforce the tray at its rear portion and provide a grip without problem for handling and shelving.
- the mechanical function of the longitudinal walls 4 and 5 on which the products are placed on horseback is reinforced in the case where they come from folding edge to edge of two panels 46 and 47 on the one hand and 56 and 57 on the other hand whose upper edges respectively 48 and 58 serve to support the bridge regions 71 between pots 72 or rows of pots integral with each other.
- the tray 2 can be formed from a cardboard blank shown in FIG. figure 6 .
- the walls 4 and 5 are formed by folding edge to edge and gluing the panels 46 and 47 on the one hand and 56 and 57 on the other hand. Therefore, the material constituting the walls 4 and 5 which provide the vertical compressive strength is integral with the bottom of the device, which is favorable to a good transmission of forces and the mechanical strength of the assembly.
- the folding flaps 20 and 21 form the side panels, and the folding of the bottom flap 22 is followed by the folding of the flaps 60 and 61 of the side panels 20 and 21.
- the device illustrated by the figures 7a and 7b has two additional flaps 93 and 94 which are articulated to the rear edge of a panel (46, 47; 56, 57) which by folding edge to edge form the longitudinal walls 4 and 5.
- the rear part of the presentation device then presents the central flap 92, the flaps 93 and 94 above and the flaps 90 and 91 which extend the lateral flaps 20 and 21.
- the flaps 93 and 94 are articulated to the rear edge respectively of the panels 46 and 57.
- the blank fits into an optimized rectangle of outline, with a minimum of loss of material.

Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a product presentation device having at least two pots connected by a connecting region located in their upper part, according to the preamble of
Products such as yogurts are usually delivered to stores in cardboard bundles arranged on a pallet. The grouping trays are generally very simple, having a bottom whose periphery is surrounded by a wall ensuring the maintenance of the products inside.
When putting on the shelf, the products are removed from the grouping trays, and the trays are evacuated. To save in loading time, it is also possible that the grouping trays are placed directly on the shelves.
In addition, the products cited are often presented to customers with a "cardboard" grouping that surrounds them in batches of 2, 4, 8, 12 or 16 units. These cardettes provide some stability to the batch, facilitating its handling, which is particularly useful for the loading of the linear. These are then eliminated by the consumer.
Ceci pose plusieurs problèmes. This poses several problems.
A first problem is related to the environment. To minimize the harmful impact of packaging, governments in different countries encourage the reduction of packaging and the use of recyclable materials.
Thus, the cardboard collection trays, once emptied of their contents, must be recycled by the distributors themselves, while the grouping cardboard is recycled at best via the selective sorting of household waste which is a more complicated process. For this reason, the implementation of these cards is subject to a specific tax called "Eco-tax" to help finance their recycling.
A second problem lies in the presentation of the products in the case where the grouping cardboard is put in linear. Indeed, the presence of cardboard "hides" the grouped products. On the other hand, when these boxes are equipped with opening devices, they are poorly mastered and unsightly.
A third problem is cooling in the case of fresh products such as yogurts. The non-brewed yogurts are put in pot at 40 ° C before the end of fermentation, to allow the formation of a gel (pH = 4.5), and they are then cooled in a tunnel up to 5 ° C. The stirred yogurts are fermented in vats, then potted and cooled in a tunnel up to 5 ° C. In either case, the conventional grouping trays slow down the cooling, because of the walls which form the periphery. To reduce this disadvantage, it is known to open these walls to facilitate the flow of air.
A fourth problem is the stacking of pots on pallets whose height is about 2 meters.
Indeed, the grouping trays are stacked on each other by their bottom which rests on the vertical walls forming the periphery of these trays and especially on the products of the lower layer or layers which thus support most of the weight.
The present invention relates to a device for presenting products in the shelves of a store that is able to avoid at least one of the aforementioned drawbacks.
The object of the invention is achieved by the features indicated in the characterizing part of
Advantageously, a said partition wall extends from a front edge to a rear edge of the plate, which makes it possible to best contribute to the compressive strength of the pairs of pots by carrying them by the middle over the entire length of the connection between the pots.
The device may comprise a plurality of separation walls separated by a distance corresponding to 2 cavities.
The products may be grouped in multiples of two, in particular in groups of 2, 4, 6 or 8 pots arranged in one or more rows.
At least one partition wall can extend from one edge to the other of the blank.
The device is generally formed from a single blank, especially cardboard.
The bottom of the tray is advantageously bordered by a first wall adapted to hold the products and along a first side of the bottom.
Preferably, the first wall is extended on either side by a second and a third wall which are adjacent to it and which extend over part of a second and a third side adjacent to the first side, in particular on less than half the length of the second and third sides, and more particularly about one-third of this length.
The device can be characterized in that the first wall is formed by folding a first hinged flap on the first side of the plate and in that the second and third wall are formed by folding a second and a third hinged flap on the second and third sides of the tray, which may have a bearing flap partially overlapping with the first flap.
The device may comprise at least one holding flap hinged to a said folded region edge to edge and coming into abutment between the first holding region, which by folding and gluing of three overlapping flaps reinforces the rear portion which is used for the manipulation, while inscribing the cut of the blank in a rectangle of optimal size.
At least one holding wall may have at its lower part and at its upper part an extension and a complementary cut which cooperate during the superposition of the products.
At least the bottom of the tray and at least one partition wall may have openings so as to facilitate air circulation.

The
Alternatively, one or more holding devices can be implemented with a single deployable flap.
The height of the
This significantly reduces the wall thickness of yoghurt pots, for example between about 0.7 mm and 0.8 mm, resulting in a saving of material.
There may be a slight day (for example 1 mm) between the
In addition, as has been said, the presentation device which is designed to be placed on the shelf eliminates or significantly reduces the cardboards in which the pots are packed and which are brought home by the consumers, hence the problems referred to above for which an eco-tax is levied.
The device as described has advantages as to shelving.
The fact that its
The side flaps 20 and 21 and the folded flaps 60 and 61 mechanically reinforce the tray at its rear portion and provide a grip without problem for handling and shelving.
This circulation is facilitated by the presence of cutouts 26 'and / or 27 and / or 28 and / or 29 and / or 45 and / or 55.
The mechanical function of the

The
