Furthermore, said document discloses a re-peeling mount sheet region which is formed separably in a portion of the mount sheet main body. According to this document, the re-applying label region is formed separably in an upper layer portion of the re-peeling mount sheet region so as to have a smaller area than the re-peeling mount sheet region.
  • Moreover, the label main body is configured to be capable of being peeled off from the mount sheet main body together with the re-applying label region while the re-peeling mount sheet region of the mount sheet main body is kept removably adhered to the reverse face of the label main body and configured to be adherable to the delivery item.
  • The re-applying label region of the label main body is configured to be capable of being peeled off from the re-peeling mount sheet region of the mount sheet main body and adherable to another location.
  • US 4, 995, 642 A refers to a pocket label assembly for shipping package and a method of making the same. The label has a removal part for affixing to a delivery package or the like. The part being die cut from the label back and equipped with pressure sensitive adhesive and being secured to a portion removable from the envelope front to constitute a unit carrying identifying indicia.
  • US 5, 259, 906 A refers to a method of making and using a combined shipping label and product information device. A web includes a plurality of devices. Transverse folds are provided between each device.
  • WO 99/59827 A1 describes a multi-ply integrated label form.
  • US 2005/0248149 A1 discloses a data carrier for health related information.
  • A delivery slip label 1 that has been proposed conventionally is described with reference to Figs. 6 through 11.
Fig. 6 is a plan view of the delivery slip label 1, and Fig. 7 is an enlarged cross-sectional view taken along line VII-VII in Fig. 6. The delivery slip label 1 is used, for example, when delivering a package according to an order from an orderer (recipient). The delivery slip label 1 has a belt-shaped mount sheet main body 2 and a plurality of label main bodies 3 removably adhered to this mount sheet main body 2.
  • Specifically, the label main body 3 has an adhesive agent layer 4 on the reverse face. The reverse face is removably adhered to the obverse face of the mount sheet main body 2. The label main body 3 is configured to be adherable to the package (delivery item) by peeling from the mount sheet main body 2.
  • On the obverse face of the label main body 3, a goods description field 5 for the goods to be delivered, a sender field 6, an addressee field 7, and a receipt field 8, for example, are formed in accordance with the delivery system. In addition, a re-applying label region 10 is formed separably from the label main body 3 by a label separating cutting line 9 in a closed rectangular shape so that the re-applying label region 10 can be utilized as a return item label.
  • Specifically, a note such as "Please affix this 'return item label' on the package to be returned when you return items." is printed within a note portion 11 of the re-applying label region 10. At the same time, a goods specifying bar code 12 that has the same content as a goods specifying bar code 12 in the goods description field 5 is printed within the re-applying label region 10.
  • A re-peeling mount sheet region 14 is formed in a portion of the mount sheet main body 2 that is more inward than the outer circumferential edge portion of the label main body 3, so as to be separable from the mount sheet main body 2 by the mount sheet separating cutting line 13 in a closed rectangular shape. At the same time, in the label main body 3, the re-applying label region 10 is formed in an upper layer portion of the re-peeling mount sheet region 14, so as to have a smaller area than the re-peeling mount sheet region 14.
  • Fig. 8 is an enlarged cross-sectional view for illustrating an operation of loading the delivery slip label 1 into an automatic peeling apparatus 15 and of automatically peeling the label main body 3 from the mount sheet main body 2 mechanically.
  • The automatic peeling apparatus 15 has a printing means (not shown), as needed, onto the label main body 3. The label main body 3 is configured to be automatically peelable from the mount sheet main body 2 together with the re-applying label region 10, which is in the same plane, by turning only the mount sheet main body 2 at a portion of the peeling plate 16 and pulling it toward the downstream side, while the re-peeling mount sheet region 14 of the mount sheet main body 2 is kept removably adhered to the reverse face of the label main body 3.
  • Fig. 9 is a cross-sectional view illustrating how the label main body 3 and the re-applying label region 10 that have been peeled off are applied, along with the re-peeling mount sheet region 14, to a delivery item M. The label main body 3 is delivered to a delivery destination (addressee) while it is applied to the delivery item M as a delivery slip.
  • Fig. 10 is a cross-sectional view for illustrating an operation of re-peeling the re-applying label region 10 portion from the mount sheet main body 2 (re-peeling mount sheet region 14), from the condition in which the label main body 3 has been applied to the delivery item M together with the re-applying label region 10 and the re-peeling mount sheet region 14. Fig. 11 is a perspective view illustrating how the re-applying label region 10 is applied to another location from the label main body 3 that has been applied to the delivery item M.
  • As illustrated in Fig. 11, the re-applying label region 10 of the label main body 3 is peeled off from the re-peeling mount sheet region 14 of the mount sheet main body 2 and is applied to another location than the label main body 3 on the delivery item M. This makes it possible to clearly show that the delivery item M to which the re-applying label region 10 (return item label) is applied is the one that has been returned.
  • The delivery slip label 1 with such a configuration has the following problem. Specifically, as shown in Fig. 8, stress concentration in the transfer direction occurs in an upstream side corner portion 13A of the mount sheet separating cutting line 13 for forming the re-peeling mount sheet region 14 when peeing the label main body 3 from the mount sheet main body 2 together with the re-peeling mount sheet region 14 by a mechanical operation. With the pulling action of the mount sheet main body 2 toward the downstream side, the mount sheet main body 2 is torn at the peeling plate 16 from the upstream side corner portion 13A toward the upstream side.
  • Thus, there is a problem that a trouble occurs in the operation of the automatic application system for delivery slips in a delivery center or the like.
  • [Patent Citation 1]
  • JP-A-7-40476
  • [Disclosure of the Invention] [Problems that the Invention is to Solve]
  • The invention has been accomplished in view of the foregoing problems. It is an object of the invention to provide an automatic application system comprising a delivery slip label that allows the automatic peeling and automatic application system in a delivery center or the like to operate smoothly.
  • It is also an object of the invention to provide an automatic application system comprising a delivery slip label that is configured to prevent the mount sheet main body from being torn when a label main body along with a re-peeling mount sheet region is peeled off from a mount sheet main body.
  • It is also an object of the invention to provide an automatic application system comprising a delivery slip label that is configured to prevent stress from concentrating in a particular location (for example, in an upstream side corner portion of a mount sheet separating cutting line) of the mount sheet main body when peeling a label main body at a peeling plate of an automatic peeling apparatus.
  • [Means for Solving the Problems]
  • Accordingly, the invention focuses on the fact that the shape of the re-peeling mount sheet region formed in the mount sheet main body is configured to be in a tapered shape toward an upstream side of a transfer direction of the delivery slip label. Thus, the invention provides the automatic application system according to claim 1.
  • The tapered shape may be a baseball home plate shape.
  • The tapered shape may be a triangular shape.
  • The tapered shape may be a U shape.
  • [Advantageous Effects of the Invention]
  • In the automatic application system comprising a delivery slip label according to the invention, the shape of the re-peeling mount sheet region formed in the mount sheet main body is configured to be in a tapered shape toward the upstream side of the transfer direction of the delivery slip label. Therefore, even when only the mount sheet main body is pulled so as to turn at a peeling plate of an automatic peeling apparatus, stress does not concentrate in a tearing direction of the mount sheet separating cutting line portion, so it is possible to prevent the mount sheet main body from being torn in a portion of the re-peeling mount sheet region.
  • [Best Mode for Carrying Out the Invention]
  • In the invention, the shape of the re-peeling mount sheet region formed in the mount sheet main body is configured to have a tapered shape toward an upstream side of a transfer direction of the delivery slip label, such as a baseball home plate shape. Thus, the invention achieved an automatic application system comprising a delivery slip label that makes it possible to contribute to improvements in process efficiency.
  • [Embodiments]
  • Next, a delivery slip label 20 according to an embodiment of the invention will be described with reference to Figs. 1 through 3. The same parts that are illustrated in Figs. 6 through 11 are designated by the same reference numerals, and the detailed description thereof will be omitted.
  • Fig. 1 is a plan view of the delivery slip label 20. Fig. 2 is an enlarged cross-sectional view taken along line II-II in Fig. 1. Like the previously-described delivery slip label 1 (Fig. 6), in the delivery slip label 20, a label main body 3 is removably adhered to a mount sheet main body 2. In the label main body 3, a re-applying label region 10 is formed along with a goods description field 5, a sender field 6, an addressee field 7, and a receipt field 8.
  • In the mount sheet main body 2, which is located on a lower layer side of the re-applying label region 10, a re-peeling mount sheet region 22 is formed by a mount sheet separating cutting line 21 in a similar manner to the foregoing re-peeling mount sheet region 14 (Fig. 6) formed by the mount sheet separating cutting line 13. The shapes of the mount sheet separating cutting line 21 and the re-peeling mount sheet region 22 are different from those of the mount sheet separating cutting line 13 and the re-peeling mount sheet region 14.
  • Specifically, the mount sheet separating cutting line 21 and the re-peeling mount sheet region 22 have a tapered shape toward an upstream side of the transfer direction in the automatic peeling apparatus 15 in which the delivery slip label 20 is to be loaded (Fig. 8 ).
  • For example, this tapered shape is configured to be a baseball home plate shape. More specifically, the mount sheet separating cutting line 21 forms parallel lines along the transfer direction of the re-peeling mount sheet region 22 at a pair of left and right change points 21A to form a tapered shape, and intersects at a convergent point 21B, which is at a rearmost point.
  • With the delivery slip label 20 of such a configuration, the mount sheet main body 2 is prevented from being torn when the label main body 3 with the re-peeling mount sheet region 22 is peeled off from the mount sheet main body 2.
  • More specifically, Fig. 3 is, like Fig. 8, an enlarged cross-sectional view for illustrating an operation of loading the delivery slip label 20 into an automatic peeling apparatus 15 and of automatically peeling the label main body 3 from the mount sheet main body 2 mechanically.
  • As illustrated in Fig. 3, stress does not concentrate at the change points 21A and the convergent point 21B of the mount sheet separating cutting line 21 even when only the mount sheet main body 2 is turned by the peeling plate 16 and pulled toward the downstream side. Therefore, the label main body 3 and the re-applying label region 10, together with the re-peeling mount sheet region 22, can be peeled off from the mount sheet main body 2 smoothly.
  • Thus, when the delivery slip label 20 is loaded into the automatic peeling apparatus 15 in an automatic peeling system or an automatic application system, automatic peeling and applying operations of the label main body 3 can be performed reliably without causing any trouble in the overall system.
  • It should be noted that in the invention, the tapered shape of the re-peeling mount sheet region 22 may be designed as appropriate in accordance with the overall label main body 3, its design, the shape of the re-applying label region 10, and the like.
  • For example, Fig. 4 is a plan view illustrating a primary portion of a first modified example of the tapered shape. The tapered shape of a re-peeling mount sheet region 23 is configured to be in a triangular shape (preferably a isosceles triangular shape).
  • The re-peeling mount sheet region 23 with such a shape also makes automatic peeling possible without causing a tear in the mount sheet main body 2 at a portion of the peeling plate 16.
  • Fig. 5 is a plan view illustrating a primary portion of a second modified example of the tapered shape. The tapered shape of a re-peeling mount sheet region 24 is configured to be in a U shape.
  • The re-peeling mount sheet region 24 with such a shape also makes automatic peeling possible without causing a tear in the mount sheet main body 2 at a portion of the peeling plate 16.
